Alle Logge di Piazza

I can confidently state that this is one of the best places I have ever been in terms of exterior. The external part of the restaurant is located in a loggia with a very high roof, nicely lit from the reflections of the surrounding buildings and a pleasant shade in the hot Tuscanian August days. The feeling was of a hacienda somewhere in Latin America in the 1800's, really an amazing place.
The pici cacio e pepe I had was delicious and the Brunello di Montalcino was a treat. The staff was overloaded but friendly.
I highly recommend the place, even only for the loggia.

It was a fantastic experience of the highest level. One year after my last visit, that went wrong. The staff had no idea that I made a bad review and took care of me like family. The food was off the charts, and the service was fantastic. Possibly the best wine list in town ( La Sosta might be neck and neck). I'm leaving very happy.

Such a lovely place to have lunch. Food is top notch. Beautiful atmosphere and views. Even the restroom is gorgeous.

We sat overlooking the piazza which we found to be a nicer setting than inside. The pasta was delicious and amongst the best we had in our 2 week holiday in Italy. The texture of the pinci was perfect!

In fact, the service at Alle Logge di Piazza was the best we encountered during our four days in Montalcino.

We enjoyed our lunch so much that we decided to return for dinner, and once again, we were blown away. The food was exquisite, the wine selection was extensive and of the highest quality, and the ambiance was delightful. Furthermore, it was a delight to meet the owner, Simone, who greeted us with warmth and made us feel like part of the family.

Overall, our experience at Alle Logge di Piazza was fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Montalcino. Grazie mille for a truly memorable dining experience

We enjoyed the warm welcome by the owner of the Logge di Piazza. The Negroni for aperitivo was fantastic and the fresh pici pasta is superb. Definitely also try the pasta with the Tuscan sausage and saffron, a beautiful taste to remember. Make sure to come with a reservation as the Logge is one of the best restaurants in town and surely popular with locals and tourists.

Great, authentic, vibrant vibes, with the outdoor tables on an old fashioned porch facing the main square. Amazing, well prepared and presented food, and not pricey at all, considering the quality. Spectacular selection of wines. Staff so professional and always appropriate. Maximal attention to details, from the selection of flower petals on a tartare to the water glasses. Overall a great experience, to recommend.
