Gorgeous winery, one of Italy’s top small producers of some of the best 100 point wines! Amazing wine tasting experience, try to get the special hidden back room, especially if you’re with a group who likes top wines. This way you get to take your time and enjoy some of the best tasting wine you’ve ever had. It’s a beautiful winery, gorgeous views. A great place to visit if you want to get a feel of a true top winery in Tuscany.

Great experience and wines in casanova di neri. Wines are very nicely dine and truly one of a kind. Staff was amazing and very knowledgeable of every aspect of the wine making. A place to stop for sure before heading into montalcino.

The winery is well known to wine enthusiasts for their 100 points wines, but for others a real insider tip. The winery is family run, so you can get all background information from first hand, or even from the owner himself.

Our return visit to this elegant estate was a great experience. Borjana is an outstanding hostess and organized a delicious and fascinating vertical tasting for us. Her tour of the cellar was informative and fun. These wines are among the best we’ve enjoyed in Montalcino, and Borjana’s inviting and professional manner was wonderful. We’ll be back next year!

Return visit after 14 years. Casanova di Neri brunello has no peer in my view, and the tasting and tour experience with Borjana was equally outstanding! We had a group of 11, and she handled the experience with ease. Owner Giacomo Neri spent quality time with us and answered all our questions - a very classy man. Best private tour and tasting one could hope for!

A beautiful family fun winery in the north east of Brunello - our tour and tasting booked by appointment was great.

Had the cru tasting which includes all their cru’s, except for their top wine, the cerretalto. Our host was nice enough to also give us a glass of this incredible wine without extra charge, to our great appreciation. Had a wonderful time! Worth the visit to taste these incredible wines!

Delicious brunellos. Sold out of the white label 2010 sadly, but have other bottles that year. The 2011s were very approachable and good too.

Senza fronzoli, senza ninnoli e senza tante parole… i fatti parlano da soli…genuinità, vita vera e soprattutto schiettezza nel prodotto: IL VINO!!!
La consiglio a chiunque voglia capire cosa vuol dire “lavorare bene”!!!
Visitata qualche giorno fa, (aprile 2023) venite accolti da una splendido glicine in fiore…tutto vi rapisce! Vi confonderete da tutto quel che vi si mostra agli occhi: i colori, le colline, i profumi, un Montalcino con i suoi campanili, ogni dettaglio vi da il benvenuto…

Prachtig gelegen , zeer rustig maar slechts 5 kms van het gezellige Montalcino. Mooie kamers met vernieuwde badkamer , allebei met prachtig uitzicht 🤩 en terras ! Aanrader !

Questa recensione è relativa alla visita all'azienda, al suo meraviglioso relais recentemente ristrutturato, al pranzo e alla degustazione dei loro ottimi vini.
Siamo sulle colline di Montalcino da cui si può ammirare uno scorcio del paese, in un vera e propria oasi verde, immersi tra vigne e il bosco di proprietà con annessa tartufaia.
Sismo stati accolti calorosamente e affettuosamente dal Sig.Giacomo Neri, dalla sua famiglia e da tutto lo staff. Tutto è perfetto, nulla è lasciato al caso nel pieno rispetto del territorio e della natura. Di altissimo livello il Relais costituito da nove appartamenti, tra camere e suites, ognuno arredato in maniera impeccabile e con molto gusto e attenzione. I prodotti cosmetici, i saponi e i profumi presenti nei bagni e negli alloggi sono tutti di loro produzione con materie rivenienti dalla attività agricola e vinicola della famiglia.
Anche il pranzo è degno di nota sia per la qualità delle materie prime usate, sia per la bravura e l'estro del giovane che Alessio e per l'attenzione e professionalità di Massimiliano il responsabile di sala.
Ad accompagnare le pietanza assaggiate un elegante e sorprendente Rosso di Montalcino 2021 "Giovanni Neri" (di gran lunga superiore a molti Brunelli) e un vero Brunello di razza
"Tenuta Nuova 2017" di ottima struttura, di grande potenza e con una piacevole nota salina. Da segnalare anche i bellissimi locali adibiti alla vendita dei vini dove spicca un bellissimo bancone di onice e alla degustazione dei vini. Come ho detto all'inizio nella Azienda Casanova dei Neri nulla è lasciato al caso. Sinceri complimenti e ringraziamenti a tutta la famiglia Neri e al loro splendido staff.
