Ristorante Tonino - Catering & Banqueting

Recommended by a work colleague, well worth the visit. Fab setting overlooking Val De Chiana. Food was absolutely delicious from start to finish. The antipasti were a real highlight, amazing variety, and big helpings. Desserts were gorgeous.
However, service was slow, a couple of orders got mixed up, and meats were served with the wrong sides. They did their best to make up for it.

Tonino catered our wedding in Umbria and it was an absolute dream. We had a pizza welcome party and the wedding itself. The staff went above and beyond. The food was so incredible and even better than I could have imagined. I am still getting texts about how good the food was. They did an incredible job setting up every single thing and they made my wedding day so perfect and so much easier for me.

Reviews are a mixed bag with some rather less positive ones but what we experienced was a delight: spectacular view, excellent service and food. The October weather was mild and pleasant and we sat outside for lunch. Eagerly waiting to return!

My favourite Tuscan hill town, a perfect location, with insane view. The food was good, not exceptional but the service, the atmosphere was worth it. Sit out on the terrace to really appreciate the view.

Tagliata for lunch was superb and so was the dessert (sorry, forgot the name). The view is spectacular. Overall, a lovely lunch!😍👍

Even though this restaurant is in a prominent location, I've never noticed it before, always thought it was the hotel restaurant. What a shame I've not eaten here before. Menu and service beyond reproach. Great wine selection and knowledgeable wait staff, and a view over the valley that is simply wonderful.

Visiting Italy every year, we start in Cortona and every time it is a great experience to visit restaurant Tonino. With a fantastic view of the surroundings it is a pleasure at Tonino's where the cooking is on Michelin star level. So again tonight, enjoyed a beautiful pasta, Cappellaci, with 2 cheeses and a beautiful sauce containing pistachio. Also with the main course, swordfish, a homemade pasta, incomparably delicious. The sommelier's advice was the best we came to expect with the dishes, fresh and balanced. Finally 'dolce dela chef', the best and most complete dessert choice. What a level every time in the most beautiful area of Cortona. Our advice: visit ristorante Tonino, Italian cuisine at its best.

Fantastic views, Fantastic food and fantastic staff. Special shout out to Altin who went above and beyond went we went for a wedding tasting in February 23. Exceptional.

As you enter Cortona the restaurant is at your left hand side in Hotel San Luca, we were 6 and were able to be seated outside, the nice weather adding to the good food and wine made our trip worth it to Cortona aside from my overcooked Cod fish everything else we ordered were right on the money, and it was reasonably priced as well

We had an Aperitivo with friends last night and it was probably the best selection of appetizers we have had in a long time. Beautiful views and excellent service. There are two outdoor spaces, one in P. Garabaldi and the other is inside the hotel. It is an indoor/ outdoor patio is covered but the roof retracts so you are sitting under the stars. Highly recommend.

The view is amazing and the food is very good. The basil risotto, and I loved it.

We ate an early lunch here. The food was good, the coffee and service was also good. A nice place to stop and rest a little before seeing the rest of the town.

Great food, service and view. There were comments before hand warning us about the bad service but we did not experience this at all. Remember to slow it down and enjoy Cortona!
