If I could give more stars I would. The food is exquisite, the atmosphere is amazing and the staff fantastic. The food is out of this world good. Fine dining quality at normal restaurant prices. I can't recommend this place enough to visit.

Holy guacamole!!!! Well, not guacamole, but HOLY GNOCCHI!!!! Is that a saying? It should be after this meal. By far the best Italian meal I have EVER had… it even jumped into the top 5 meals of all time for me. Every single bit was amazing, but the gnocchi was over the top incredible. I’m probably not allowed to drop the word ‘foodgasm’ on Google, but if I was… I would.

Highly recommend getting a reservation for this restaurant because it can be in high demand. This is definitely one of the fine dining restaurants in the area. Highly recommend the fondue as an appetizer and the carbonara was amazing.

This place is a must visit. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is amazing and the staff are fantastic. Fine dining food at normal restaurant prices. NOT TO BE MiSSED if you love your food.

This place is amazing. Our first restaurant experience with our daughter and it was fantastic. The staff was super helpful, suggesting a pasta (low salt etc.) for our toddler special made in the kitchen. And we very much enjoyed our own food and seeing our daughter absolutely crush hers!

If you come to Cortona, you MUST come to La Loggetta!

The food was incredible - each course outdoing the next in flavor, presentation, and enjoyment. The ricotta stuffed Zucchini flowers were especially good, and the Tagliata steak was outstanding. Everything about this restaurant, from beginning to end, blew my expectations out of the water.

Not to mention, the restaurant staff were exceedingly accommodating when we asked to be seated inside - even though I had made a mistake in my original booking.

The ratings speak for themselves - La Loggetta deserves its reputation. It was the best meal we had in Cortona, and I highly highly recommend it to you!

The staff was so kind, we had no reservations, the staff set up a table out side, we drink wine, in 25 minutes we had a table inside.

Wonderful local restaurant using local quality produce very well. The staff were very knowledgeable and attentive, wines were superb and all very good value, we ate here twice during our stay.

Always an excellent dining experience. Cortona is a small hilltop town and is generally overrun with tourists in the summer months, However, this restaurant shows the same high standards of service and quality innovative food year-round. As well as being good value. We had the best carbonara ever here - as well as rack of lamb, fondue and sea bass with crisped potatoes. They also serve amazing French fries and carciofi fritti. I highly recommend La Loggetta - Compliments

A wonderful restaurant in the heart of beautiful Cortona. We had a private room overlooking the courtyard and it was wonderful. The cheese fondue was to die for, and the shrimp risotto was great too.

We had an amazing four course meal with a bottle of chianti classico! The food was great and the staff was friendly. The terrace made the dinner even better as it is in the main square of Cortona. Fun fact - a scene from film "Under the Tuscan Sun" was filmed on the stone bench near the terrace tables. Reservations are required and can be made on their website.

Place is very central with a great view from the terrace. The service was great, waiters were pleasant and polite, they helped us with pictures, explained the menu and were friendly with the children. Food is incredible, the steak is out of this world. I liked that they also have decaf coffee. Prices are good so overall it was an experience to remember.

In Cortona, a town filled with outstanding restaurants, La Loggetta stands out by offering a fine dining experience on their loggia overlooking the Piazza della Repubblica. It is a unique and beautiful setting. The service staff was friendly and attentive without ever making us feel rushed. We enjoyed our several courses at a leisurely pace. Every dish we had was delicious and the presentation was creative and beautiful. The entire evening was so enjoyable that we booked another reservation for our last night in Cortona. Among my fond memories of Cortona, our evening at La Loggetta will be one of the best.

Fantastic presentation and flavors. Good wine. We have eggs with white truffles, Tuscan bean soup, shrimp wrapped in filo with mango sauce.

Lunch Friday September 24th. Amazing location and delicious food. Autumnal specialties like funghi porcini with fettuccine or grilled or fried: soooo good! It's a great restaurant with nice staff

A beautiful restaurant overlooking the town. The carbonara was great! The ambiance of being able to enjoy a nice meal outside in the sunshine on a beautiful day - can't beat it.

In the last week (1st week of August 2020) we have had lunch here twice. Once for my wife’s birthday (7 people) & once for our last day on holiday (4 people). Both times we booked in advance, had the best table on the veranda looking over the square, and had the most exquisite meals. Service was fantastic, attentive, knowledgeable but not overbearing. Highly recommended!!

The best in Cortona. Service by Alessandro and Roland excellent. Besides traditional Italian they have some very good options. Wine list is also very good and some rare wines from the region. Highly recommended.

Good food and an amazing wine list in a nice environment. It's probably worth paying the extra to get a good view of the main square in Cortona. Prices are very reasonable.

Decided to eat here after seeing the lovely outside eating area overlooking the square. The staff were very polite and spoke good English.
I ordered two food items, some water and a coffee. The food, especially the stake, was amazing. I’d more than happy return and recommend. I felt the prices were great for the quality of the service and also the food.
