I was a bit nervous about renting a car, but Sofia made everything so easy! She answered all of my questions promptly and patiently using WhatsApp. The next morning, I showed up to find a Fiat Panda in perfect condition and sparkling clean - inside and out - waiting for me. The whole process took less than fifteen minutes before we were on our way for a tour of Tuscany! Americans: best to go to AAA and pay the $33 for an international drivers license. Car rental was worth every penny to see Tuscany at our own pace and convenience! I highly recommend Panichi Auto!

Sofia was incredible to work with from start to finish. We communicated by email and WhatsApp from the US and she was highly professional, kind, and patient in helping us book/arrange our car. She met us at the Camuchia-Cortona train station (on a Sunday) to provide us with the car. The car was a Fiat 500 (automatic) and in great condition, very clean. We had an early train back a few days later and she helped us arrange a key drop-off outside of their usual hours. Can’t say enough how accommodating she was and the process went perfectly smooth. I highly recommend renting a car in Tuscany to see all of the various hill top towns, and would recommend Panichi for a reliable experience!

I have rented a lot of cars in my life. Private and business wise, but this is by far the one with the best service. I rented a fiat panda. Almost brand new and super clean. Great service by Sofia 👍

Panichi Auto in Camicia-Cortona, Italy exceeded all expectations! Impeccable service, pristine cars, and a seamless rental process made our trip truly enjoyable. Highly recommend for an stress-free and reliable car rental experience. Sophia was very helpful with setting up our drop off and pick up at the train station for an additional charge. The car took us throughout Tuscany with no problems! We booked the Fiat 500L which held four adults an luggage.

Absolutely incredible. It’s my first ever time hiring a car (and driving) in Italy and it was wonderful.
Sofia and everyone at the office were so kind and helpful…they have a WhatsApp chat which makes everything extremely efficient and fast with great attention to detail…there was also English translation on the hire form for those of us not fluent in Italian.
I rented the Fiat Panda 500 automatic which was an incredible car. It was in excellent condition and such an impressive car…I was lucky to be driving in snow and it felt safe 100% of the time.
Panichi Auto, Cortona was recommended to me by a local. That says it all. I’ll be back and thank you so much again!

Renting from Panichi Auto was such a great experience. All the staff were super helpful, especially Sofia who helped keep everything well organized leading up to the rental. She was prompt in her responses and made the experience less stressful. The administrative process was straightforward and they were able to explain everything very clearly. We just had a 2 week holiday in Cortona and were challenged to find a rental near the airport of Florence. A friend familiar with the Cortona area connected us with Sofia at Panichi auto. She has been super helpful with more than just getting us a car. First, the rental price is way cheaper here than close to the airport, but their service and Sofia’s clear / direct communication (she’s very fluent in English) just makes it easy and comfortable to work with. Along the way, we had 2 specific issues we needed to solve in Cortona (nothing to do with the rental car or their service), and it was really great to have Sofia willing and available to help us out although it would have been easy to just deflect our asks. We won’t doubt where to rent a car next time!

Contacted Laura at Panichi when I knew we were travelling to Camucia Cortona by train from Rome. Arranged to rent a Fiat for a week and Laura and her colleagues couldn't have been more helpful or professional,
The car was delivered to our hotel (Borgo il Melone) and they also drove us to the train station at the end of our vacation.
The car went fine and my wife and I visited quite a few areas we hadn't been too during our previous visits.
The whole process with Panichi compared to large car rental companies is the personal touch.
Of course when we are next in the area and need a car we will contact them again..
