Here for 3 nights for my daughters wedding. Cannot praise it enough. Absolutely beautiful venue (we had exclusive use)
Lovely, friendly and helpful staff who were so efficient and obviously so well trained, but somehow unobtrusive, only there as soon as you needed them. The food was fantastic, we had a lovely breakfast each morning. Pizza and pasta at the white party the night before the wedding, the wedding breakfast and a BBQ the day after and it was all perfect. The table for the wedding meal was set on the drive under the trees and it looked like something out of a fairytale. It was always my son in laws dream to have a tuscan wedding and he said it far exceeded his expectations. I am 70 years old and have been a wedding guest many times but this was easily the most stunning.I usually end a review with at least one little suggestion for improvement but not this time. Well done Villa la Selva!! you are truly first rate.

The wine, sourced from the villa's own vineyards, was exceptional and added a delightful touch to our celebration. Our guests were truly impressed with the quality of wine and the beautiful winery tour.

We had the most incredible experience planning our dream wedding at Villa La Selva! For starters, Cristina was incredibly kind, understanding, and helpful throughout the whole process and absolutely nailed our wedding weekend. Every single detail came together perfectly and she coordinated all of the details and logistics of the wedding weekend with ease and grace! Not to mention that Cristina has several connections with vendors in the area (many of which are her friends), which made the entire process quite easy.

The staff at Villa La Selva took such good care of us and all of our guests for the duration of our stay and we truly couldn't have asked for a more perfect venue and backdrop for our special day! The property is clean, modern and has all of the amenities that you need (bathrooms in every room, two pools, tennis courts and daily breakfast). You also can't overlook the fact that the wine is produced on site (which we served for all of our events), and they make their own scents with the wine which we ended up giving as gifts to our guests and will forever remind us of our wedding.

We were honestly blown away and will be back to visit soon! We can't recommend the venue & staff enough!

I recently had my wedding at Villa La Selva and have nothing but amazing things to say about this estate and the staff. We hosted our family and friends for a week and could not be happier. All of the rooms were clean and functioning as expected and all of the common areas were well maintained and absolutely beautiful. Tuscan charm with upgrades to ensure comfort and convenience.

Cristina, the property manager, went above and beyond to make sure that all of the needs of our guests were met during the stay. She is a genuinely sweet person with a true passion for the estate and her guests. We had the pleasure of attending a wine tasting that was also led by Cristina and her knowledge and passion for the the wines was pure and took our experience to the next level. Not to mention, the wines are truly delicious and unique, while being at a reasonable price point.

All of the staff at Villa La Selva took the time to get to know our guests and did everything they could to make our experience the best that it could be. Any requests that we had were met, and if not possible alternatives were offered. The amenities were endless (pools, bocce ball, tennis court) and all of the different areas on the estate allowed our guests to enjoy the property in their own way.

I cannot wait to return to Villa La Selva again one day to experience the beauty and tranquility it has to offer. It truly felt like our home for the week and will always hold a special place in our hearts.

Wine is delicious

I was recently married here two weeks ago after planning our wedding for over a year. We hired Cristina, the in-house wedding planner and we couldn't have been happier that we did!

Over the course of planning our wedding, I went to Florence/Tuscany two times to meet with Cristina. Once to walk the property and wedding plan, the other for the food tasting. Cristina was diligent, and had a list of trusted vendors ready to go for us to work with. When there were a few vendors we wanted to change, she was accommodating and worked with us to make our day special.

Fast forward to the wedding weekend, I was stressed! We had planned the entire wedding to be outside, and as luck would have it... it rained harder than anyone had ever seen. While I was disappointed because I had planned this wedding in my head to be outside for over a year, Cristina was quick to make changes to ensure we could still have the wedding outside, just in a covered area. While it wasn't what I had pictured, Cristina did everything in her power to ensure I still had a beautiful wedding.

We had a few hiccups along the way because of the rain, but Cristina was there with me the entire time, even when I was crying because I was upset. She was kind, patient, and handled everything with grace.

Not only did we have our wedding day at Villa La Selva, but we also hosted a welcome dinner on Friday for our guests, and a formal brunch on Sunday. Everyone was blown away by the beauty of the grounds, and what all of the vendors were able to create.

I cannot recommend Cristina, this venue, and all of the vendors enough. Everyone was incredible, and I would absolutely get married here all over again! Thank you to everyone for making our wedding weekend a special one - we appreciate you!!

Villa La Selva… WOW where do I even begin? My wife, Amy, and I had our dream wedding here in June this year (2022), after two postponements since 2020. First, the venue was incredibly accommodating during the pandemic with our need to move the date. From being so understanding to us having to change dates, allowing us to store some wedding items on site for months, through to hosting us for a couple of nights in 2021 for us to see the venue first-hand ahead of the wedding. They were incredible. When we were finally able to have the event this year, I could not ask for a more magical setting.

Cristina who is the venue manager is one of the kindest yet also incredibly organized people we have met. She had the venue running flawlessly. It was also incredibly special to have her watch us get married on-site. Cristina, you are an amazing woman! Thank you, thank you, thank you, Cristina!

The accommodations are all so unique, historic, and beautifully restored with modern luxuries you would expect to have a beautiful stay in the Tuscan countryside. All of our guests were very happy with their rooms. We stayed in the owner’s house “The Winery House” and it is impeccable. The venue is so vast and has so much space to host our guests, as well as a variety of areas to host events. We had our welcome pizza party in the courtyard, wedding ceremony in the Italian gardens, reception dinner on the terrace, reception dancing in the wine cellar, and recovery pool BBQ at one of the two (yes, two) pools all on-site. They also have a tennis court, and bocce court, and are able to organize any kind of day trip you could want.

Given they produce wine on-site, there is also a fine appreciation for wine here, and the family really puts love and care into what they produce; the La Selva wine is awesome. We shipped several bottles home and plan to order more, as it's not only a special memory, but also fantastic wine!

The service at La Selva was flawless; anytime one of us needed something, whether it was a clothing steamer, a power adapter, or water, there was someone to help. I want to send a huge shout-out to Sumeda…. He was ALWAYS available; I swear he never sleeps! He is amazing at his job and his care for guests is second to none! Thank you, Sumeda!

We met Marco, the owner, on the first day and he was incredibly welcoming. You can tell that he and his family love and care for this property very deeply. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Marco for your hospitality in this most amazing place.

The time we spent at La Selva is one of our most precious memories, and we cannot wait to organize a vow renewal here in the future. We will definitely be back - much love to the Villa La Selva family, from ours.

I stayed with a group of friends for a fabulous and relaxing break. Marco the owner personally greeted our group to make sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. The properties give you an authentic feel for this part of Italy. Lemon groves and rolling fields of olive green are breathtaking. Although we booked our stay to be self catering on occasion (when we were feeling rather lazy!) the staff helped to arrange a meal to be brought in for us from a wonderful local restaurant. Wonderful views, beautiful pool and the most delicious wine. What else can you ask for......

My daughter’s wedding Jessica was at the beautiful Villa La Selva Wine Resort in August. Simply elegant and every detail was Executed with such grace and glamour. Beyond my expectations. I only want for my daughter to have the most dreamy perfect fairytale wedding and you executed it to the with Gaia her wedding planner. Just returned from a 7-day stay at the resort with 15 other family members to celebrate my parent's 80th birthdays. A M A Z I N G resort, we loved every minute and were so sad to have to leave. The staff is so friendly, attentive, and helpful. They are fabulous. The rooms were very clean and they cleaned each day that we were there. Marco, Elenora, Christina, were the best!!! The man that lives at the resort ( I am so sorry I can't remember his name) was the MVP!!! He always had a smile on his face and was ready to help in ANY way possible. Everyone spoke English. We had a wine tasting there, scheduled several dinners to be cooked there by a chef, and breakfast every day. We took walks, played tennis, relaxed by the pools, and scheduled local tours and transportation. The resort is so beautiful. I would go back in a heartbeat!!!

A hidden gem in the hills of tuscany. The grounds are impeccable. The staff is kind, gracious and helpful. The wine tasting is not to be missed. Unlike many wineries you'll find in this area, this winery is truly experimental with their wines. Everyone loves a good Chianti Classico but having variety can make or break a great winery. Do not miss the Rose or the Feliciana. And for those of you who know your Italian history, the estate dates back to the original Medici family. Before they produced two popes and a massive empire.

We truely enjoyed everyday that we spent at the villa. The primary reason for our enjoyment was the kind and very professional attention that we recieved from Mr. Enzo Volpintesta. Every employee was curtious and helpfull, but Enzo was exceptional. He is a great asset to your organization and the type of person that should be a model for all others who are employed at the villa. If we have the opportunity to return to Italy in the future we definetly will look forward to seeing you again.

We had our wedding at La Selva and honestly words could not describe how amazing the experience was. The Villa and staff were amazing as well as the incredible views the minute you walked outside. It was a week to remember!

My family and I travelled from the U.S. for the destination wedding of my cousin. The picturesque views epitomized the serenity of Tuscan life. The staff were very friendly, and often made great efforts to be helpful but unobtrusive to our family time; the graciousness of Italy's citizens was evidenced by all we met. Even without a wedding this getaway is well worth the trip. Approximately 30 minutes from Siena, Italy, transport must be arranged beforehand. But the drive is worth the relaxing and inviting atmosphere. Having Siena nearby was my favorite part of the trip. Fantastic shopping was available, as well as historical sites and restaurants. I would hope to visit both Villa La Selva and Siena again in the near future.
