L'Asinello Ristorante

We loved the warmth and authenticity of this restaurant. The dishes were absolutely delicious, tuscan style but with an inventive twist. Loved the wine list - set out in distance from the restaurant - showcasing local produce. The setting is whimsical. You'll find a traditional vino window just up the road. Would highly recommend!

Thank you for such a lovely dining experience for the evening; every dish was immaculately presented and delicious. The beef tongue was sublime & the beef tartare was different in so many ways!

What an amazing dinner! This restaurant deserves every accolade it has. Staff are incredibly friendly and attentive and it was clear a lot of effort went into every dish that was made. The tastes blew me away!

While in Tuscany last week, we had the pleasure of dining at a lovely restaurant. The food was really delicious, and we opted for the five-course tasting menu. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth a visit.

Great food in a cozy setting in a cute little charming village. All the 5 courses of the surprise menu were amazing, special highlight tonight was the creamy pear ice cream. Also sensational tartare with a twist.

The restaurant is unique, lovely, and situated in a charming town. Attention is paid to all details of the dining experience. I loved the jazz + play list background music. The dishes are carefully prepared, and the blend of ingredients creative. The menu is very heavy on meat, be prepared that this is the focus of L’Asinello. We asked if a small mixed salad might be added to our order of appetizers and main courses, and the answer was a definitive no. I had two wonderful meals on different occasions four and five years prior to this one, before L’Asinello was granted its Michelin star. I confess I enjoyed the experience more when the restaurant was new, working to build a reputation, and the owners served the beautifully prepared dishes with less formality and a more individual attentive touch.

A great meal! As two vegetarians we were preparing to order the vegetarian dishes A la carte, but they adapted the tasting menu to be vegetarian (using the vegetarian dishes on the menu) which was so nice of them.

I was invited for my birthday here in June. Restaurant in convivial style, no waiters here in penguin outfit, a very tasty, fine and uncomplicated cuisine. Thumbs up for the lady who offered us a preferential treatment with specially selected food-paired wines. Top restaurant!

Perfect location, not too posh, still genuine tuscany antmosphere. The food was great, very local tastes, e.g. quail, leap, etc. Very good price for what you get with the tasting menu (5-6 courses) and good wine pairing! Highly recommended!

Returned 3 times over our honeymoon week. There are three excellent restaurants in the small Villa a Sesta but this is by far the best. The food, atmosphere, and service are definitely deserving of a Michelin Star. Everyone agrees! Do not miss if you’re anywhere nearby.
