Borgo San Felice Resort Relais & Chateaux

Staying at Borgo San Felice was one of my favorite memories from our 11-day trip to Italy. The property is immaculate, unique and special. My 5-year old daughter loved how peaceful it was and meeting the animals on property. Our hotel room was gorgeous. I'll never forget the smells of all the wonderful florals on property. Our family loved the bartender Eric, and he made the best amaretto sour I've ever had. There are some local family-run restaurants nearby in the area that were enjoyable as well. Loved the spa as well!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, almost like a fairy tale village. Everything is immaculately maintained. Our suite was spacious and well stocked, with coffee replaced without asking and plenty of amenities. The gardens are full of wonderful fragrant plants and little seating areas appear everywhere. The staff are wonderful, responsive, friendly and efficient. We had a fantastic, relaxing stay in this fabulous hotel.

If you want to impress your friends and family bring them here. The General Manager and staff have perfected the client experience. We had some issues booking our reservation but it was eventually resolved. I think it was more of our agency and not the hotel.I would book directly with hotel in the future. Thanks for treating us like family.

Beautiful hotel with amazing views. The room we stayed in was one of the nicest I’ve ever seen. We had dinner twice at the Michelin restaurant and my wife and I were blown away by the 8 courses. Patrizia was incredibly kind and helpful whenever we needed any sort of assistance. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Definitely a five star hotel upon check again I noticed how impeccable the service was. I booked a deluxe room and was mesmerized by the view of the vineyards, you really do feel the Tuscan charm would definitely come back here. Rooms are spacious, impeccably, clean, and super comfortable and have a Tuscan charm breakfast was amazing

We had a lovely five day stay at the resort that included great meals four of the five nights. Breakfast was great, alot of selection and wonderfully presented . We had two days of rain and there were ample umbrella's for everyone. Room amenities thought of everything .

Loved our stay at this property. The stuff was very kind and helpful and the michelin-starred restaurant is definitely worth a visit.

This is our 3rd visit. Once on our 10 anniversary.... Once on our 25th anniversary and now our 35th. The hotel and staff are spectacular.

All around a very great experience. Service at reception and the restaurants was all very good. Food at the restaurants was absolutely amazing. Wish I would have gone to the wine store and done some tastings. Only slightly negative experience was at the spa where my wife and I had a couples massage and the massage room was right next to the waiting room and there were very loud people out there which was distracting during our massage.

10/10 would come back.

Great 5 night stay at Borgo San Felice. Very relaxing and great staff. Breakfast every morning is fantastic. Lunch is great. It is expensive but quality is high. We did a great cooking class, wine tour and did a shuttle to restaurants nearby a few times for dinner. The pool is great too and there is a small gym. We also walked to a nearby winery.

Really enjoyed our stay. Thanks team! Ps: Bring bug spray, there are a lot of bugs around the property.

San Felice is absolutely fabulous! The setting is idyllic, Tuscany through and through. The accommodations were exactly what we hoped for, high quality, rustic architecture combined with luxury. The two restaurants are great, the staff are helpful finding other restaurants nearby and even offer a free shuttle for nearby locales.The Spa was great and not crowded on our visit. The wine tasting was fantastic, great wines and knowledgeable staff. Our private patio and the pool were simply lovely to use. All in all, a great trip that we will repeat many times.

Our stay at Borgo San Felice was extraordinary and an experience I will never forget. I stayed here for my honeymoon in August and everything about our stay was excellent. The place is absolutely stunning, I did not want to leave. The service is also great- unfortunately our air conditioning in our room was not working well our first night and the staff immediately switched our room the next morning to have working AC. It was an upgrade but no questions were asked, they were very understanding. I wish I had stayed more days, I would come back here again to enjoy more of the facilities as I just visited the pool, restaurants and wine shop but I'd like to visit the spa and tennis courts.

Borgo San Felice was an incredible experience with tremendous attention to the details. We have traveled to many countries and have stayed at many nice resorts but this experience was absolutely one of the most treasured gems to have discovered!!
The last night we were sitting outside our rooms with our friends drinking wine and finishing up the last 5 days worth of food before we left early the next morning when the general manager stopped by and said hello. We all had a delightful conversation. He made sure we had breakfast for our 6 am departure the next morning! Like I said before exceptional attention to details!!!
We look forward to stays at this resort for years ahead with family and friends.

Borgo San Felice is a magical place that is much more than a 5 star hotel. The staff is outstanding: warm, knowledgeable, and were, for the 5 days of our stay, our extended family. The property is magnificent, the food is outstanding, and the activity offerings unique. We will definitely be returning!

tl;dr - If you are looking a truly incredible 5-star resort in Tuscany, stay at Borgo San Felice.

Borgo San Felice is truly one of the most magical places you can stay in the world. From the moment we arrived, the staff was ready to make sure we were completely cared for. The grounds are immaculate; it really does feel like you are stepping back in time to the 7th century. Our room thankfully was fully updated for the 21st century—our premium suite was spacious, the bedding (compelte with both feather and memory foam pillow options) was extremely comfortable, and the bathroom was stunning. The small touches, like a welcome bottle of wine, or the cold waters and chocolates with every turn down service, really make the stay fed luxurious.

We dined at the osteria (their non-Michelin restaurant) for a casual dinner one night. The food was incredible for the price point. Additionally the wine (specifically any Chianti Classico we tried) at Borgo San Felice is some of the best we had in Italy.

One thing to note is that their gym is extremely small, and our reserved time was taken over by other guests. We decided to take advantage of the (faux grass) tennis courts instead. We were offered tennis racquets, a new can of balls, and waters.

Lastly, I’ll mention the incredible the breakfast buffet. The selection of items was immense, and everything we tried was surprisingly good. The pastries were some of the best I’ve had in Europe.

The setting, staff, accommodations, food, and wine were all incredible. We can’t wait to come back.
