Villa Curina Resort

We spent 5 nights at this resort. It was a relaxing and comfortable stay. The staff were wonderful and helpful. I wish we could visit again soon. Location is great with a 25 minute drive to Siena and an hour or so to other areas of interest. Rooms were fine but a bit rustic. I highly recommend this resort.

Amazing stay at Villa Curina. Beautiful room, breathtaking views, super clean swimming pool. Service was amazing, both at the reception and at the pool bar. Breakfast could be a bit more elaborate (fresh produce) and the AC is not that cold in mid summer and somewhat noisy.
All and all, a perfect week in the Tuscan countryside

The location of Villa Curina is fantastic and the property itself very attractive. Except for a hick-up one morning (no hot water in the shower), the overall stay was very comfortable. We had dinner at the property the first night and it was excellent (food and service). We're not really dessert eaters but did order the chocolate mousse - one of the best!

Also excellent service for breakfast each morning (we stayed here three nights). We hope to return to Castelnuovo B. in the future. Wonderful surrounding area!

We stayed at Villa Curina in March 2023 and it was a wonderful experience. The resort and the scenery are picturesque. The rooms are large and well kept. The breakfast is amazing! (Seriously, ask for scrambled eggs in the morning. They're the best I've had) But most importantly the staff was super kind and helpful. A million thanks to Andrea, Martina, Dani, Carim and everyone else for making our stay a memorable one!

We just had our (small, <30 guest) wedding here and it was perfect from start to finish! The staff were all so lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful and accommodating to us and all of our guests - both before and throughout our stay. The food, wine and cocktails were great. The rooms were comfortable and all unique. The pool was excellent and had a good bar, which served well priced drinks and snacks all day. The view of the Chianti hills was amazing - we never got bored of it - and the area around the hotel was so peaceful too. Overall, the hotel and weekend was everything we’d dreamt of, so just wanted to say thank you again to everyone at Villa Curina and would highly recommend staying there if you are fortunate enough to visit Chianti!

We are a family of four (me, my partner and our two daughters ages 7 and 10), and we could not have been happier at the Villa Curina resort. We stayed for four days, and family suite accommodations were clean and comfortable, and both girls had their own beds to sleep in. Breakfast each morning was delicious, and the girls loved the swimming pool and tennis courts. We had dinner at the restaurant which was fabulous and overlooked a great view of the Tuscan countryside. The staff was very helpful also! Wonderful place to stay and have as a home base while exploring various parts of Tuscany.

An absolute amazing and wonderful vacation resort! It felt like a dreamscape. The resort is surrounded by amazing views of Tuscany and is only a short drive outside of Siena. The rooms were authentic and comfortable, with very comfortable beds. What sets apart this place from others is the amazing staff. Everyone was incredibly considerate, welcoming and warm. Over our time there, we got to know both Dany and Mami very well and they made our stay the best. Dany was always so welcoming to us and our baby boy each morning and Mami is the best Chef I have ever had the pleasure to meet, they felt like family! The breakfast every morning was consistently the best breakfast I have ever had.

Villa Curina was the best place we stayed in all of Italy and we would come back here in a heartbeat!

Villa Curina is like a wonderful dream that you don’t ever want to wake up from. Now that we’re back home, we feel like we want to go back to sleep and continue the dream…back to Villa Curina. We can’t stop thinking about the amazing time in Tuscany and our cherished memories at Villa Curina.

Location location location!! Just a few, scenic minutes outside of Siena. Easy to rent a car in Siena and drive from Villa Curina. Villa Curina to Siena (20 minutes), to San Gimignano (60 minutes), Arezzo (about an hour), Montalcino (an hour) and Florence (90 minutes). There are a couple of small towns/villages nearby (~10 minute drive) with a few restaurants, ATMs and small grocery stores (CarreFour express in Castelnuovo Berardenga is a good place to shop for water, wine and snacks etc.). We drove to all the above places and we felt that the area around Villa Curina was the the most beautiful and picturesque - literally just like the pictures and paintings you see of Tuscany. The long vistas, rolling hills, tall cypress trees lining a winding road to a rustic, but majestic looking villa, and finally the olive and wine groves were right out of a storybook. Also close to excellent wineries and also close to a Truffle hunting experience with a local guide and his dogs.

The grounds:

We stayed in late March, so the pool was empty but it looked huge and very deep by American standards. The landscaping was well maintained and it was lovely to take a stroll through the olive groves and lavender fields during the golden hour. Parking is across the road but convenient. The place is not too big and not too small. We spent several hours exploring the property, taking pictures, relaxing and listening to the wild birds. Absolutely no crowds in March.

The staff:

Very professional, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They will help set up cooking classes, suggest wineries to visit, direct you to ATMS etc. and they helped us find an awesome truffle hunting activity.

Summary: 

In terms of it’s authentic, warm and beautiful location and rooms, it’s a 5 star resort. You will step into a beautiful place run by passionate people who truly care about making sure you are taken care of and happy. We went to Milan, Parma, Rome and Tuscany and our hearts and favorite memories are in Tuscany and our time at Villa Curina. Go there and feel the love.

This place is amazing, gorgeous views, great staff, amazing restaurant. Everything about our experience was wonderful. The only complaint was the air conditioning in our room was not great but when in Italy you take what you can get. The restaurant was incredible. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely go back.

We have celebrated our wedding in Villa Curina recently. We were lucky to book this venue 2 months ahead of the wedding.
They were so accommodating and friendly. Roberta was so supportive and helped me along the way with anything I needed so I’m very grateful 🤍

We stayed at the Villa for 4 days. The view is breathtaking. The staff is very friendly. Each morning we eat a wonderful breakfast in an outdoor dining area. This made us feel very safe. They have an outstanding restaurant with amazing wines. I would recommend this Villa for your stay in Italy.

Perfect. Gorgeous location. Stunning views. The room was spacious, comfortable, very clean, traditional with fantastic Tuscan views. The pool far exceeded expectations - plenty of privacy with terraced areas, bar facilities available, comfortable lounges. Staff were all pleasant, helpful, courteous and ready with a smile! Highly recommend. Just adorable and so relaxing.

Great place! Super nice rooms, GREAT restaurant, attentive staff and easy to find.
The pool area is very nice, sunbeds for all guests and really soft and big towels.
The breakfast is as expected in a place like this, enough selection and with great quality.
There is a pool bar with light lunches and excellent drinks and service.
The restaurant is fab, really good food with high end presentations and at fair price. We would go here again for sure.
Only down side at a worthy place like this if you drive an electric car (like we do) is that there is no charging possibilities at all. Sad in 2019. Several residences in the area offers this on site.

We stayed here for several nights while on vacation in Italy. It was our "home base" for exploring the surrounding area. The resort is vert nice. Comfortable room. Great dining experience. A pool for a swim. The staff was very friendly, and professional.

People make the place! Evelyn looked after us during our light lunch. She smiled, laughed and was even a little upset that I poured our own wine!
Roberta showed us around Villa Curina. The pool area is outstanding and the poolside bar just wonderful.

We are adding Villa Curina to our Tuscany cycling experiences. We look forward to spending many a happy evening here.

Stayed at Curina Villa for my grandsons wedding.
All the staff were so friendly and extremely helpful. The food was superb. The resort was perfect which added to a wonderful day.
