We had a FABULOUS experience with Hill Town Tours when we stayed with 2 other couples at a Villa in Cortona. The communication leading up to the trip was spot on. Check in was seamless and a representative met us at the property. The Villa we rented was amazing. Beautifully furnished, comfy bedroom and en suites and well equipped kitchen. The outdoor patio areas were breathtaking. Hill Town was available arranged a private chef and several wine tastings. They gave us great recommendations and answered every last questions. We have traveled the world and many times to Italy. This was a FIVE star experience for sure. We will gladly recommend Hill Town again and hope to return to the heavenly town of Cortona.

Jonathan and the rest of the lovely people at Hill Town Tours could not have been more helpful! We had a wonderfully relaxing sojourn in Cortona enjoying the delicious regional foods and places recommended by Hill Town.
Don’t miss dinner at Androids, the many churches and museums that will surprise you with their collections and lack of crowds! There is a lovely park with amazing views, jewel box shops if you duck down the alleys and a university.
This may just be our new favorite town in Italy, enjoy!

Our family of 8 had a wonderful time at our villa near Cortona. The villa was well equipped and very comfortable and our daily breakfasts and dinner were superb. The team from HTT were great and answered all questions very quickly and are available to organise what you need. Our villa was in a stunning location - not a holiday we will forget!

Excellent location and the Villa was amazing—the owners should be very proud of this great vacation home—cudos to Hilltop Tours for all the events we planned with you and special Grazie to Denise and her mom for the Breakfast each morning-Belissimo!! Alesandre-pasta making etc was so much fun-cheese making with Fattoria Bistecca-Iliry and Lapo —winery’s were absolutely the best choices—all the wine we didn’t ship made it back unscathed 💋

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Hilltown Tours. Yes, the hilltop town of Cortona is beautiful. The food is incredible. The local people have huge hearts, and the entire area is filled with character and beauty - but experiencing Cortona and its neighboring towns with the assistance and friendship of the people who run Hilltown Tours, Michele Guerrieri and his partners, turned our experience into a magical and unforgettable visit.
Regardless of whether you wish to stay at a majestic villa or a charming apartment, as we did, HTT offers the best. They take care of all your needs, and do so with such charm and heart, and they never stop smiling. They know how to tell the story of Tuscany. We loved our apartment with its spectacular panoramic views of Tuscany. Michele took us to a wine tasting and incredible lunch at Cantina Candio in nearby Montepulciano (the wines there are superb) and a tour of the beautiful nearby attractions. Cortona, located on the border with the Umbria region, is the perfect base to visit so many places, including Florence, Sienna, Orvieto, Assisi and so many other must-see sites.
HTT will arrange it all - accommodations, personalized tours, transportation, and more in Tuscany and other locations, including the Amalfi coast, France, Spain, Iceland, Portugal, Greece, and Switzerland. We cannot thank Michele enough for his caring and genuine way of making us feel like family. From the very beginning, Hill Town Tours captured our hearts. The scenic beauty of Cortona was undeniable from our apartment they provided us with, and the local cuisine is top-notch! But what really elevated our trip was the warm hospitality extended by Michele Guerrieri and his associates at Hill Town Tours. Through their eyes, we discovered the soul of Cortona and its neighboring regions.

Whether you're looking for the grandeur of a villa or the coziness of an apartment like we chose, HTT delivers excellence. Their attention to detail, unwavering enthusiasm, and infectious smiles made every moment special. The narrative they weave about Tuscany is both compelling and heartfelt. Our apartment offered breathtaking views of the Tuscan landscape. Among the many highlights was a delightful wine tasting session and an absolutely incredible lunch at Cantina Canaio near Montepulciano, where we got to savor some exquisite wines and stunning views. Every night, we looked forward to an aperitivo in Cortona’s town center at the bar SottoVoce, watching the town come alive with people of all walks of life, live music, performers, and so much spirit.

Our adventures also took us to some of the iconic spots nearby. Given Cortona's prime location near the Umbria border, trips to Florence, Sienna, Orvieto, Assisi, and other landmarks were seamlessly arranged. But that's not all! Hill Town Tours (HTT) were outstanding! The hospitality couldn’t have been better and our apartment was absolutely amazing! The view across the Italian country side from our apartment room window will leave a person speechless... Cortona was such a fun town due to their amazing restaurants, shops, architecture, history, and people. We highly recommend anyone to use HTT for your future adventures. You will not regret it!

Jonathan and the team at HTT were extremely helpful, friendly and always available to answer the many questions I had. The villa was beyond amazing, our in villa cooking class with Anna was so much fun and delicious, and we especially loved our daily breakfast with chef Gabriele. He was amazing, friendly, polite, and shared so much with us about the history and culture of Cortona. Thanks for a great experience!

We had the most wonderful vacation in Cortona thanks to HTT! Dario, Julie and the whole staff made our visit easy with all of the details taken care of such as dinner reservations, wine tastings, cooking show and great drivers for our excursions. We loved Cortona and hope we can come back soon!!

HTT did a fantastic job with our trip to Cortona. The apartment was perfect and very convenient to all parts of the town. All of our requests were taken care of and their drivers were exceptional.

We had an outstanding week at our villa in Cortona. Liana was very responsive before and during our stay. Roberto and Monica cooked wonderful meals, better than we had in any restaurants. They were warm and friendly and accommodated any changes to our schedule. The property was more beautiful than described and it was the trip of a lifetime!

My wife's first time in Paris and HTT was very helpful.
1) The hotel was awesome. (no bedbugs) comfortable beds, delicious breakfast, (however it could use some variety.) Staff was pleasant and helpful.   2 thoughts on location; 1) Conveniently located near Gare d'Est and Gare d'Nord 2) there's not much to see/do in that neighborhood. 2) The dinner cruise was fantastic. It's not something I would normally have done. But, the food, atmosphere and entertainment were spectacular. 3) Having a timed ticket for the Louvre  saved us hours of waiting in line.
Overall recommendation: You folks were helpful and offered great options.

With my friends from USA we spent several days in the torre degli elci which was a very pleasant stay for 9 persons and excellent service, specially Gabriele who made breakfast everyday and a cooking lesson for pasta and menu, this was excellent service and fun! thank you!

We stayed at the Le Corchie villa in Cortona for 7 days in April 2022 and were very pleased with the accommodations. Great views and enough space for 8 of us (4 couples). We had Daniella as our daily chef and she was fantastic and incredibly helpful with anything. The meals were fantastic . We also had. Riccardo as our driver and he was superb. His English was very good and his company all week was welcomed and appreciated. Very accommodating to our on-the-whim trips to the store or elsewhere.
Daniella and Riccardo made our Villa stay worthwhile. The only thing missing was a clothes dryer, but we all managed ok

Bought a trip to Burgandy at a charity auction. Hill Town Tours was great, helping us to set up tours in the area and the chef they sent for our dinner at our villa was great. Kim was extremely helpful.

Hill Town Tours is a top notch group. They will assist with booking lovely accommodations, private drivers, dinner reservations, cooking classes, winery tours, and on and on. The staff is very friendly and incredibly helpful!

Just stayed in a great apartment in the beautiful town of Cortona. The apartment was devine with comfortable beds and everything you need.

La Gelosie is perfectly central to the town, wherever you wanted to go.

The communications and travel guides were a real help.

Our recent trip to Tuscany was exceptional, thanks to Michele Guerrieri and his team at Hill Town Tours.

Upon our arrival, the charm of Cortona, as viewed from our quaint, hillside apartment, was evident. Coupled with delightful local dishes, Hill Town Tours did an excellent job setting the stage. A big shoutout to Michele and his team for their hospitality and knowledge. They introduced us to the authentic side of Cortona and nearby areas.

If you're torn between choosing a villa or an apartment, HTT has got you covered. They're attentive, responsive, and always wear a smile. A highlight of our stay was a wine tasting at Cantina Canaio near Montepulciano, which came with delicious food and a great view. Evening hangouts at the SottoVoce bar in Cortona's main square allowed us to absorb local culture and mingle with its residents.

Thanks to the agency's efficient planning, we also explored cities close to Cortona, such as Florence, Sienna, and Orvieto, to name a few. What's more, if you're looking to travel beyond Tuscany, Hill Town Tours offers a variety of destinations, ranging from the Amalfi coast to France and Spain.
