This place is amazing. Underground caves deliver an atmosphere worthy of one of the most romantic places to eat. The food is outstanding and a service to match. Another must visit as are all other restaurants in Cortona we have visited.

What an amazing place!!!!! This restaurant does not require any google reviews to be a great place to dine in Tuscany, we found this place by simply poking our nose down a quaint alley with inviting charm. What we found was the most excellent food!!!! The rosemary veal plate was astounding!!!! The best steak I have ever had, no question. The service was top notch, like many places in Tuscany. But best of all was the warm conversation with the head chef (owner likely) as we left to pay our bill. It is unusual and special for us Americans to be able to converse and share stories with the chef at the end of a truly great meal!!!

Amazing restaurant hidden in downhill alley very near the main square in Cortona.

The restaurant looks like a historic cellar, carved into the mountain, really romantic and well decorated.

The food and the service was great. Well recommended.

Amazing food and stellar ambience. The ragu di cinghiale was phenomenal, highly recommend! The prosciutto was also cut in house, the best I’ve ever had.

This is a fantastic restaurant. The setting brims with history and has a moody romantic ambience. The staff are so friendly, warm and attentive. The food also delivers with great aplomb. The smoked pasta dish is unlike anything I'ver ever had before and I can't recommend it enough. I'm still dreaming about it weeks later. A true 5 star restaurant.

One of the best meals we had in Italy! Every pasta was truly unique , tasty and made in house on the spot. The spot is very cozy and service friendly. I’m still dreaming about every dish😋

Delicious and beautifull people and incredible atmosphere. We ordered the Potato Ravioli, and Steak. Both were made to perfection. Ordered a bottle of Toscana Syrah 2021. The meal sent us to heaven. Afterwards, Marco the owner, chef gave us a tour of the restaurant that's housed in a building dating back to 600BC which still houses an ancient well. We love our new friends and Ad Braceria and will be back again and again. We think you will too.

Fabulous restaurant we have eaten here 4 times & never been dissatisfied the food is great the staff & atmosphere of this fantastic old Italian family business. Highly recommend this place fir a great meal.

What an adorable restaurant. We truly enjoyed the dinner and the atmosphere. We were 6 people and we all loved our food. Highly recommend it.

This place is a breathe of fresh air from all the tourism. The service was excellent and the food was heavenly. Truly an experience eating here. We were able to enjoy a lovely dinner, wine, and dessert. Very different dishes that we didn’t get elsewhere. I look forward to eating here again.

What a great setting for a superb meal! Meat selection and preparation second to non, all cooked over charcoal. Good service great wine selection. Recommended.

If you want a unique dining experience this is it. The service by our knowledgable waiter Luis, was exemplary. He knew the food and wine, as well as the local history. The restaurant is in amongst Etruscan ruins dating from 800-900 BC. This alone is worth going for. The food and service were excellent. It was one of the highlights of going to Tuscany

AD Braceria!! Excellent! Once again we had a great experience at this downtown Cortona located restaurant. The setting is awesome, the service is very friendly and the food excellent!
Pay attention: in the neighbour town Camucia there is a new restaurant which picked up the name Braceria. When I did my booking my phone I didn’t realise having booked the the Braceria instead then AD Braceria. Now AD Braceria was really helpful and managed to accomodate me with my family and friends in a busy evening… but just carefull when you book my phone. Thanks again AD Braceria!

Food is fantastic and the house wine is very good. Prices are extremely reasonable and service is very good. When asking for the bill, be sure to bring the receipt up to the front for payment instead of waiting for the waiter. Reservations are smart for dinner.

We had a surprisingly excellent lunch there during our visit to Cortona, so much so, that we returned for dinner. The food was delicious and unpretentious. When we where there the place was full and we were the only tourist. The owner was a very nice amiable young fellow. This is a really great place.

The chefs fantasy appetizer was just phenomenal, service was excellent and we were delighted that they accaccommodated us without a reservation. Don't forget to try the sfoglio with chanting cream and sour cherries for dessert. It was delightful.
