We had a private cooking show put on by the chef (who used to work at a Michelin star restaurant). He made for us two appetizers that are not on the regular menu, but a popular Tuscany dish. Both were EXCELLENT.
We then ordered the gnocchi to finish off the night, which was delicious with a meat sauce.

Went for a private cooking experience and it did not disappoint. Chef Matteo was friendly, gave the best instruction & detail as he prepared our meal, plus you could feel his passion in the food. Everything was fresh, not complicated and delicious. This restaurant is a must stop in Cortona.

Fantastic family restaurant in an ancient vaulted room with an underground cistern. The menu was tight but enticing and the food was delicious, especially the pork with apple. The service was also charming and knowledgeable.

We enjoyed a cooking demonstration by the chef that was very interesting and insightful. We definitely learned a few things about cooking in Italy. We then enjoyed a delicious dinner with great wine pairing and excellent service!

Matteo is a master of his craft. Passionate, funny and an excellent teacher. We did a cooking class for four different dishes. It was one of our most enjoyable activities in Cortona. The food and wine was delicious and we would recommend the experience to anyone. The restaurant is also beautiful.
