WOW. this really is a palace. From the street presence to the entrance and through the spectacular grounds, it takes you back to another era. Our room faced the lake with a small balcony adorned with geraniums, perfect for taking in the beautiful Stresa. The pool, the grotto, the lobby, the grand staircase, all create a uniquely Devine experience. Breakfast on the terrace is plentiful snd varied, you want to linger over coffee for a while longer. So close to the old town with fabulous restaurants and some shopping. Service was top notch.

Just used the facilities today inside as offered by our travel company for a comfort break. The hotel is 4* and faces the main strip overlooking the Lake Maggiori.

The hotel is beautiful, very ornate features, very decadent with ornate characteristics.

You can stay here on a Riviera Travel booking.

The hotel location was superb - in that the views of the lake were wonderful. It is also close to the train station and restaurants. We stayed for 5 nights in a room on the top floor with a small patio area, large enough for a small table and 2 chairs, which we enjoyed very much.
We ate in the restaurant a couple of times of times for dinner and had breakfast each morning in the breakfast area. The dinner menu was very tasty and the service attentive.
My husband had a medical issue with his back and we needed to get medical care. The hotel team went out of their way to assist us and we are incredibly grateful for their kindness. I would recommend the hotel for a lovely visit and commend the staff for their caring service with every interaction.
Thank you for an memorable visit!

You will feel like “Princess Regina” every time you enter or exit this beautiful oasis. Courteous staff, amazing spa experience, great surroundings for tourist walking, shopping & photos.

It was my first time in Italy, visiting a city I never heard of and the town’s people were friendly and welcoming. Absolutely no problem communicating.

Mid 20th century luxury reminiscent of Hollywood films from that era. Beautiful facilities and surroundings, excellent unobtrusive service and a perfect location. The only reason that I deducted one star was because there are no tea making facilities in the room and not many hangers in the wardrobe, very minor inconveniences.

Gorgeous, pristine...hard pillows is the only dislike!

Highly recommended hotel.Stayed 21st September for a week.Rooms are spacious bed very comfortable. We had a balcony (which is small) but well worth it overlooking the lake. The room was impeccably clean as was the rest of the hotel. The hotel was palatial from the Venetian glass chandeliers to the furnishings. The food was excellent as was the service in the dining room never seen so efficient waiters. Can't recommend this hotel enough. The indoor pool and spa was incredible like swimming in a cave so tranquil. Thank you for a lovely holiday.

We had a beautiful suite at the splendid Regina Palace Hotel in the center of Stresa overlooking the shores of Lake Maggiore, amazing location.
The hotel provides a great breakfast in the most amazing setting: palace like.
The hotel is filled with historical content, antique furniture, frescoes and chandeliers that give you a sense of history and nobility.

Just popped in for aperitivo.
Amazing decor. Well worth the extra cost. An experience....if you can't afford to stay, at least come for a drink

We were fortunate to stay here a few yrs ago, before Covid stopped us from coming back, however, we certainly will come again when traveling has on once again some normality attached to it.
This is a beautiful hotel, lovely rooms, although some in our party found theirs a bit small, but we had a corner suite, which was quite generous.
The position of Hotel Regina is superb, easy walk.to quality shops and a beautiful view over Lake Maggiore.
Service was prompt and efficient.
Highly recommended.

I have checked with the management, and this hotel is NOT a converted palace, but purpose built as an hotel in 1908. It is, however, in palatial period style and very opulent. It is beautifully maintained: the presentation is immaculate, and it still has many grand features in Art Nouveau. I have just spent a week there, and enjoyed it enormously. The food is good too. Not the cheapest, but a very excellent hotel.

Excellent hotel in Stresa. The outside pool is lovely, surrounded by a large green area for sunbathing with an attentive pool attendant who made sure there were always sunbeds available. The decor might not be to everyone's taste, but we found it charming and were impressed with how well the hotel had been maintained. Breakfast was solid (it was a shame there wasn't more space on the terrace for us). Only complaint was the long wait to check-in (a bizarrely slow and painful process for scanning passports) as well as check-out.

What a wonderful place, what a beautiful hotel!! Great and very friendly service, breathtaking view, beautiful rooms... great breakfast on the sunny terrace. International guests from all over Europe. We brought our Great Dane and it was all fine. the bathrooms could take some renovating, but it all had a great charme! We love it and will definitely come back soon!

Grand 110 year old hotel. Staff was excellent. Rooms were nice. We stayed in what they call a triple room which was smaller than we expected. Our room had a great view of the lake but the veranda was small, just enough for two people. 2nd floor lake side rooms offer a much larger veranda. Free breakfast in the mornings with good options overall. Very close to many restaurant options and the lake is directly across the street. Outdoor pool is large and the indoor pool is a sight to see. Spa offers many types of massages. The grounds are beautifully kept with many gardens.

Grand luxary hotel. Outstanding service. Comfortable beds, well sized bath room. Lots of gold and trimmings in the guest room. A truly grand entrance from the garden side and lobby with comfortable seating arrangements in a fitting style. Excellent restaurant with very attentive service. The bar is equally impressive with plenty of space and an extensive range of drinks and confortable chairs to sit and talk.
Not to forget a huge parking underground garage.
We had a very comfortable stay and certainly plan to visit again!
