Hotel Villa e Palazzo Aminta

This was the best hotel experience I have ever have. From getting there, getting help throughout our stay, and leaving, the team was always kind and supportive. They helped us with restaurant reservations, calling taxi’s, giving us things we needed, everything. They had excellent english and helped with literally everything with no hesitation. The hotel itself was also absolutely beautiful, it was almost like a museum. We were also kindly upgraded to full lake view and it was absolutely magical. The restaurant is beautiful as well and has excellent service and food itself as well. It was hard to leave, and would 100% recommend it on another trip to Stresa, Italy!

Facility Review: The hotel's facilities were equally impressive. The lobby exuded grandeur and charm, setting the tone for a truly luxurious stay. The wellness area, including the spa and fitness center, offered a haven of relaxation and rejuvenation. I particularly enjoyed the attention to detail in the design and ambiance of these spaces, creating a tranquil retreat within the hotel. The on-site dining options showcased the culinary expertise of the chefs, with each dish thoughtfully prepared and presented. The attentive staff further enhanced the experience, providing impeccable service at every turn.

Our experience as first time visitors to Stresa was amazing. Our room was upgraded upon our arrival to a stunning suite, the best I have ever stayed in. The staff was exceptional, I cannot say enough good things about them. The front desk staff was very friendly, always had a smile, and were very helpful with whatever we needed. My wife became ill one day, and we had a doctor perform a house call the same day, and I was given a shuttle to Stresa to the pharmacy! Both restaurant staff and all the valets were excellent as well, again so friendly and nice.The rooms are absolutely stunning, with beautiful accommodations and timeless design (and very clean of course!). The view of Lago Maggiore is breathtaking. This was the best vacation I have ever taken, and my wife and I have already decided to make a return trip in the future. Again, I would like the whole staff to know that they did an incredible job.

Gorgeous hotel, excellent location with an amazing view! The services are fantastic, the staff are so friendly and welcoming always ready to help.
Food is great, and the waiters are so friendly and polite! We are so pleased with our experience that we are definitely going back! A real pleasure, the hotel interior look indeed like a place, so beautiful and clean!

Had a fabulous experience at Palazzo Aminta. View of the islands from our balcony was beautiful. Everyone had a smile and was very courteous. Staff was one of the best we have ever experienced. From Elisa at the front desk to Paulo and Gregorio in the dining room to the wonderful omelettes prepared by Valeria. Thank you all for making this a memorable vacation.

Very lovely hotel with great service! We especially loved the complimentary grotto with steam room, jacuzzi and various healing showers. The breakfast was outstanding!

We had a wonderful stay at Palazzo Aminta! We loved, loved this place! The whole atmosphere, staff and views of the lake, islands and mountains were excellent! Food was amazing at breakfast and at their restaurants. The staff treated us with such kindness and friendliness. We felt a bit like royalty in this Palatial hotel! We plan on staying here again in the future.

Perfect waterfront views of the lake. Easy plentiful parking. Amazing variety in the included daily elegant huge breakfast buffet with inside and outside seating on linen tablecloths with the best views. Swam in the nice pool. We used the private water taxi service, Max, to take us where we wanted to the islands at our own pace, NICE! The massages in the spa were A+ and concierge gave us great dinner ideas in Stresa old town.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa Amimta. The service was really excellent. The location is beautiful.

My husband and I had an amazing stay at Villa Aminta this October. We had the great surprise to be upgraded to a lake view room which was absolutely lovely! The views on the lake early morning were gorgeous and we could even swim in the lake.
The staff is very kind and helpful. I recommend this hotel for a 100% Dolce Vita dreamy experience.

Stunning views over the lake and over to the two islands. The two restaurants which served very nice food both look out and so we had a wonderful buffet breakfast in the morning.
The swimming pool was cold but refreshing and the spa was simple but very relaxing.
It’s a little bit of a walk out of Stresa but they offer a fairly regular transfer to and from town through the day.

I spent a week at the hotel halfboard, the food and service were excellent.
We booked a room with a side lake view and were very impressed. As you can see from the picture we had a nice bath, but also a walk in shower.
The location is a little out of town and not a great walk, although the hotel do offer a free transfer. On the plus side the views from the hotel are stunning.

Amazing place. We actually enjoyed it so much we stayed an extra day. The service was excellent. The staff was incredibly helpful and informative.
The location is Magical, SPECTACULAR! A great view of the Borromean Islands.
Cosimo, who took care of our needs in the restaurants stands out, but all of the staff were great. We had meals there 3 nights and the food and wine were consistently excellent.
And, we were visited twice by the owner to check on our experience.

This is a wonderful regal hotel. This is the place to stay if you want a traditional full service. While it has a formal environment, that is softened by the staff team, the service and the beautiful setting. We loved everything!

Amazing views, so well positioned right between Lake Maggiore’s islands. The hotel layout maximises scenic outlooks. The staff are SUPERB. Food was excellent. Concierge made great recommendations and booked for us. They even have their own private lake front park where your water taxi can collect you. Affordable indulgence.

Fantastic hotel serving great food with great service in an unrivalled location right on the lake. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, who are very friendly. The hotel enjoys two excellent restaurants and the best "grotto" style spa with jacuzzi and Turkish bath that we have ever seen. The hotel offers are free shuttle bus into Stresa town centre although you can walk it in 20/25 mins max along the stunning promenade.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it was an incredible experience! The staff and service was exceptional. The hotel and rooms were decorated beautifully. The food was delicious! The breakfast and views were a perfect way to start your day. The location was also great and easy to get to downtown Stresa or other neighboring towns. I highly recommend Hotel Villa Aminta for your stay in Stresa and we hope to be back one day!
