Casa Maresca Residence

We had an incredible experience at Case Maresca in Positano. The warmth and hospitality of the Italian/British family who run the hotel added a personal and charming touch to our stay. The view of Positano from our room was absolutely stunning, and having reserved parking made our visit extremely convenient. Our room was fantastic, and the balcony and terrace were our favorite spots to take in the beauty of Positano. We were thoroughly impressed with our stay and wholeheartedly recommend Case Maresca to anyone looking to explore this magical coastal town.

Casa Maresca was a wonderful stay. the host was very friendly and always available for whenever we needed her. our room was very clean and would come back to a clean room every day. the view was breathtaking from the balcony and would definitely stay here again!

This beautiful apartment is located just a short walk from the main center of Positano. Located in the more residential side of Positano, it boasts some of the most beautiful views and surroundings that Positano is famous for. While it is not right in the heart of Positano, its just above the main town some 15minute walk away. I'd strongly agree with the hosts recommendation if avoiding using the Google Maps way to bring you to the apartment, which is through loads of steps, and instead go a slightly longer way around. It's a far nicer walk, the majority of locals and tourists go this way and it offers the best views along the walk. Passing many shops and restaurants along the way!

Once you arrive at the ferry port, for €10 a bag the luggage porters in blue and green shirts will take care of bringing your bags to your accommodation so you can start relaxing and enjoying Positano right away.

Adjacent to the apartment is a small shop offering all basic necessities you may need during your stay, several restaurants, many offering gorgoeus views of Positano bay, one of Positanos' most popular restaurants, Da Vincenzo, is less than 5minutes away, a pharmacy is close by, and a smaller beach that while still popular it's not as manic (or as expensive!) as the main beach is some 15minute walk from the apartment. There are steps to the beach, but if you can move past that, it's worth it. Tha beach offers towels, changing facilities, showers and bar/food options also (delivered to you on the beach if you want!).

The apartment itself was spacious, offering a nice sized bathroom with ample towels and toiletries complimentary. Then you have the bedroom with wardrobe space, a large comfortable bed, and offers allnyou need for a comfortable stay. What I loved the most about the room is the slightly older style decor and a the room that boasts simply stunning views as you face out onto the balcony from your bed. Topping it off, look to your left and you have a good sized window also offering picturesque views of Positano Bay!

The apartment also has air conditioning a hair dryer, a nice sized balcony with a table & chairs, and an outdoor terrace with a good sized seating area offering similar views of the Bay also. All windows & baclony has an extra set of doors fitted with mosquito nets too, allowing fresh air to circulate without risk of any flies coming in!

This was one of the nicest apartments we stayed in during our trip around Italy and the Amalfi coast both in terms of location and what was on offer with the apartment itself. It was topped off by a very warm welcome by the hosts, Lucia & Paul, who were always on hand for whatever we needed - giving us a nice tour of their garden too!

Had an absolutely wonderful time here. We shared an apartment between three and the space was amazing. This apartment is fully equipped with all the kitchen utensils you can imagine, towels, soap, toothpaste etc. We also had a lovely balcony to enjoy the views. Lucia and her family were so attentive and kind and were available to help us work anything. Please be sure to stay here! Super convenient and enjoyable. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in the Amalfi coast!

Great location in Positano, basic double room but the terrace and views are amazing!!!

The owners of the residence are very sweet and welcoming and ensured our stay was a pleasant one. The rooms are cleaned everyday and i found it to be hygienic and comfortable to stay in. The residence is about 2/3 mins walk from a small market and restaurant’s and about 15/20 min walk to the center which was very convenient. Would happily recommend and would stay again if in Positano.

We stayed in casa maresca for 5 nights. And i have to say- This place deserves 5 star and even more. It was the best hotel we could ask for in Positano.
Lucia the host was so nice, had the best recommendation and did everything to help us and advise us. The location was perfect for us, other than the fact that there’s 2 good restaurant and the best cafe in the village directly up the stairs from the hotel its not in the crowded center but it is close enough for an easy access to everything.
It is a 10 min walk down the stairs to fornilo beach (which I really recommend on going to)
The room itself is simple but has everything you need and the best part of it all is the balcony - amazing view of Positano.
The room was clean, the bathroom is good and spacious. Thank you Lucia for making us feel at home.

Lucia was accommodating from the very beginning! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. It was close to all the restaurants but still in a location that felt tranquil. We loved the balcony and the lovely view. Very clean and tidy and would 100% recommend.

Simply amazing. Very instragrammable views from the balcony.
The owners are superhosts, they sent such a detailed travel plan and answered all questions promptly and with so much warmth.
The hosts responded immediately to any queries and very super helpful and kind.
The property is close to bars, restaurants, the market and even the beach, it is a little far but it’s a very beautiful walk thru the market and down the most instragrammable steps.
When coming back from Capri take the bus not the ferry to avoid walking up. It’s not very tough but rest your legs for the other days in case of a longer stay.
I wish there was a kitchen attached for when I do go back again for an even longer stay.
This place will be part of my fondest memories not just because Positano or the apartment are stunning but also because the people are so warm and helpful.

We had a very nice 3 nights here. The property was meticulously maintained. The host was so nice. I got a tour of their garden. Will definitely recommend others to stay here.

The most beautiful residence for a number of reasons. Very clean and comfortable rooms. Stunning views. Amazing helpful owners. An absolute Gem of a place feel so blessed to have got to stay here whilst in Positano. We will be back!

Casa Maresca is Paradiso!

I just spent 2 weeks at Casa Maresca and I cried when I left. Lucia and Paul have a beautiful home and the accommodations are perfect. The location is private, incredibly clean, updated, and walkable to everything in Positano. You can easily navigate the entire amalfi coast from the port. If you want to experience Positano and the Italian culture the way it is supposed to be felt, this is your place.

This place is so much nicer than the photos. The room was exceptionally clean and has a wonderful balcony with a fab view over Positiano. The location is good about 15 mins walk from the centre in a quietier area near good restaurants and hotels, away from the bustling crowds. It is also closer to Fornillo beach which is far nicer than the main beach. The room and kitchen had all amenities, plates, cups, towels, a hair dryer, toiletries, and little extras from the owners such as water, tea, and coffee. The owner was so lovely and cudnt do enough for you. It is sldo great value for Positano.

This is the best place you could possibly stay in Positano. We stayed in the one bedroom apartment and it was so clean, comfortable and spacious. We had a third bed in the sitting room which was also extremely comfortable- the three of us had more than enough room. The location is perfection- right off the road in Fornillo and the views are quite simply breathtaking. Lucia, Paul and Francesca were also lovely and it was a pleasure to meet them. I have been to Positano four times now and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Highly highly recommend!

This hotel is in a great location at an amazing price for the area. It is family run (which we loved) and had an amazing view. it was also SOOOO CLEAN! literally spotless. The hosts were amazing and gave local recommendations.
