What a gem! Fabulous hotel and tourism business for the perfect long weekend ski trip. For our group of 20, nothing was too much trouble for Luca and Kat. It was a true home from home and an experience to cherish. The views from, and of, the village are outstandingly beautiful and at night there are no sounds, and so little light that the starry skies were clearly visible. Good food and drinks were available at nearby bars as well as in the hotel, and there are several shops selling typical food produce and other souvenirs within a few steps of the hotel. I'm looking forward to a future return visit already...

We’ve just had a great week in this hotel staying with a group of colleagues from our ski club. The food was good and in substantial quantities - great after a day on the ski slopes. Expect to see the hotel owner teaching in the ski school 😉 as well as serving behind the bar. Friendly and flexible support and advice from Katherine leading up to the booking. Ski hire and passes etc can be arranged by the hotel. Daily lifts to and from the ski lifts.

I recently stayed here with my wife as a base for our first ever skiing trip. We had a great time, the hotel was comfortable and the food was extremely good. Luca & Katherine along with their team looked after us well attending to all our needs and made the skiing experience perfect so much so I would not hesitate in coming back. There's a bus to take you to the slopes each day (a 5 minute ride), ski boots and ski hire are all arranged and the slopes (beginning of Feb) were so quiet it felt like I had my own private slope! Believe me, if you are looking for somewhere to start your skiing adventures you will not be disappointed booking here and letting the team look after you!

A friendy hotel with the most amazing family running it. I now feel part of this family and have already booked my skiing holiday for next year.
In addition I am hoping to return in the summer to walk the mountains.
The hotel's food was superb and the help and guidance that we received for skiing was second to none.

Absolutely amazing, Kat is the perfect host. I would look here before looking elsewhere for a place to stay to ski or hike. Beer and wine selection is amazing as is the service

What a great stay. Great food, lovely staff. I felt so welcome and had a laugh every day here. The trekking was brilliant too. Couldn't have asked for a better break

Excellent salad, pizza, beer and ice cream for less than 25EUR. Good service and a great location with view of Monte Rosa

Ottima posizione geografica, al centro del paese a due passi da funivie e seggiovie per scoprire le vette del Monte Rosa. Struttura accogliente e confortevole con ottima cucina. Personale dipendente sempre molto gentile e disponibile. I titolari accolgono gli ospiti con grande cordialità facendoli sentire subito a proprio agio. Vacanza piacevole da ripetere sicuramente.

Abbiamo solo pranzato in questo posto , molto bello e curato ..
Mangiato squisitamente e molto comodo per i miei bambini ..
Il personale molto cortese e professionale ..
Molto veloci e ripeto pranzo buonissimo..specialmente i dolci ..
Spero di ritornarci includendo il pernottamento in primavera..

La cameriera era strasorridente e simpatica. Se mangi lì ti senti davvero a casa. Pizza a dir poco buonissima e prezzi davvero bassi per la qualità, quantità e per il posto. La torta era davvero buonissima (cioccolato e noci). Se tornerò a Macugnaga sicuramente tornerò lì a mangiare. I bagni erano puliti.

Le pizze ordinate erano veramente eccezionali , con farina macinata a pietra e ingredienti freschi, ottima birra e vista splendida dal dehor sui monti. Prezzi contenuti e personale molto gentile e disponibile.
