CERVO Mountain Resort

I had a wonderful experience at this establishment! The service was truly exceptional — the staff was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. I felt genuinely welcomed and taken care of throughout my visit. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for outstanding service and a memorable experience

Fantastic stay in a beautiful hotel with a fabulous view.

Quiet location, right off the Commercial center of the town that is easily accessible by an elevator. This gives you the best of both worlds, peace, and privacy yet easy access to all that Zermat downtown has to offer.

The food and the Italian restaurant was amazing as well the best so far I’ve had Switzerland and definitely one of the top Italian restaurants I’ve eaten.

We stayed at this hotel two years ago when we got engaged, and returned this week for our honeymoon. I have stayed in many high quality hotels across the world and this one stands out as the best.

The saddest part is having to leave!

The service and environment is phenomenal, and we will be returning again next summer, if not before then for skiing in winter.

We stayed here 3 nights in August. It was easily our favourite place we stayed in Switzerland. The rooms are very comfortable and the service is exceptional. The location is also great with use of an elevator to make trips to town a lot faster. Cervo has so many little touches that make your stay something special. Breakfast was exceptional. And the sauna, spa and Onsen were so lovely to unwind after big days hiking. We will absolutely be back if ever in Zermatt again .

We stayed here at the end of June 2024 and the staff were very helpful despite the town experiencing flooding. We had a great experience staying here. The staff are courteous and the service is very good. The room stayed in is comfortable and has a wonderful view of the Matterhorn.

We stayed at this hotel late June 2024. The facility is beautiful. Very modern mountain hut decor. Unusual but interesting restaurant menu, with middle eastern/asian orientation. Zermatt is very steep, but location is great, with big views but industrial sized elevator across the street down to main city level that makes this a very good location. Full on views of Matterhorn. The morning we left, trains were uncertain due to flooding, so the owner drove us down into town in the electric golf cart/taxi. Where do you get that kind of service?

I came here purely because of the hotel reviews. To be honest, I found out later that Matterhon Mountain is here. The Nomad Roof Junior Suite I stayed in for 4 nights and 5 days in July was very comfortable and quiet. I parked my rental car near Tasch Station and took a taxi to Zermatt, and the hotel staff picked me up with an electric car.

This hotel is about a 25-minute walk from the main town around the train station, and although the hotel is located on a hill, there is an elevator that connects to downtown, so it is convenient for guests to walk.

The breakfast served every morning was also very good. I was so impressed that I had dinner twice at the Missierin Guide restaurant located in the hotel. The staff were all friendly, and the hotel's spa facilities were very comfortable.

I recommend this hotel to travelers who like hippie-like, comfortable naturalism.

I have recently returned from a wonderful 4 day stay at the CERVO mountain resort with my daughter. The reception arranged for a free pickup from the train station and the wonderful gent who picked us up gave us a lot of information about the area as we were heading up to the resort and he was very knowledgeable about Zermatt. When we were checking in, we were given fresh water and small towels to cool off as it was a hot day while our luggage was taken down to our room.

We stayed on the ground floor of a Nomad lodge where the climbing wall is located which is the building next to the spa. Fantastic view of the matterhorn from the patio and we got to see paragliders coming down the mountain throughout the day. The room was spotless, spacious and extremely comfortable. The toiletries, towels and robes supplied where all fantastic quality. The area was silent of a night so we had no trouble sleeping in the comfy beds with plenty of bedding and pillows. I would say that it felt like I was at a home away from home but this was far more luxurious than home!

The resort has multiple restaurants however we only made use of the Bazaar restaurant for breakfast each day and one evening meal and it was a lovely experience. The food was excellent quality and presented perfectly. The breakfast buffet consisted of various pastries, cereals, fruit, breads, cheeses, meats and drinks. Staff made sure everything was always topped up so they never ran out of anything in the buffet.

The resort is a short walk (or ride) up a winding path to get to, however during the day you can use the lift at the Sunnega/Blauherd/Rothorn station at the base of the village to take you up directly to the resort. If you are arriving after the station is closed, you can call up to reception who will give you an access code to enter the station and use the lift or if you have already checked in, your room key will also grant you access to the station.

All the staff I interacted with were all bi-lingual which was massively helpful as I'm not, they were all a delight to speak to and a true credit to the resort. When we checking out, the lady on reception took a polaroid photograph of us with the Matterhorn in the background and gave it to us with a small booklet as a souvenir. A wonderful gift as a memory of our holiday. All the staff made me and my daughter feel very welcome at the resort and everyone at CERVO made the experience an absolute joy. I will definitely be returning in the future and would highly recommend CERVO for a luxurious, quiet escape.

Our stay at Cervo was just really really good. The facilities are superb with nice views over Zermatt and the Matterhorn. Cervo blends nicely into the surroundings with many smaller buildings, playful decoration and lots to explore in/around the hotel. There's many small details and decoration. The staff was super friendly, attentive but never intrusive. Cervo offers one of the best breakfasts we've had in a hotel. They have a very rich buffet but on top they offer dishes you don't usually get like Shakshuka and Momos.

We stayed at Overlook at cervo which are one bedroom suites. They have everything you could possibly need. Definitely recommend!

The CERVO Mountain Resort in Zermatt is a super nice hotel with a fantastic view of the Matterhorn when the sun is shining.

The staff are super friendly and there's a very pleasant, informal atmosphere. The hotel has a lovely spa area with an outdoor pool and sauna.

The views are amazing, the lack of air-conditioning and televisions, not so amazing. The staff was phenomenal. The location was perfect.

Great location for after ski apres at the end of the day. We waited out the line back to sunnegga with a beer. Plenty of taxis come up to bring you into town. Good live music and plenty of seating even if it’s busy. Great cheese board

Stayed in CERVO for 2 nights with Nomad L with the Mountain View. One of the best stays I have ever had in my life.

The concept of the hotel is really unique. It also offers extra experience of Outdoor Hot Pool, Climbing Wall, Sauna, Relaxation Room. Breakfast was also included in my stay and it was decent with friendly restaurant staff. The price to stay in this hotel is worth it in my opinion.

What was missing is that they require charge for pick up from train station to their hotel. Went to other part of Switzerland but they offer free pickup unlike Cervo. Otherwise, everything else was great. Highly recommended.

CERVO has exceeded expectations in every aspect. This is a first class ride out/ ski in hotel. They have answered “yes” to every need of the traveler, and many that you have never thought of. The service is cheerful, welcoming, and accommodating. The facility is beautiful and creatively appointed in mountain chic. CERVO is completely committed to the health of our planet in all areas of operations. Simply outstanding.

Amazing bedrooms! My kids loved the bunk beds. The rooms have an amazing view and the hotel is right in front of the elevator that takes you to the lift.
The service is outstanding, staff go out of their way to serve the guests at every opportunity

This truly is one of the most special and greatest places to stay - I have been in many luxurious hotels but this one just tops them all. Great place, great views, wonderfull food and most of all very kind and attentive staff - for example they already know what kind of coffee you like after just 1 breakfast. Super friendly, helpful, and with personal attention during the whole stay.
All I can say is that I will be going again !
