Delicious food and lovely service! Chef was happy to prepare vegan dishes for my partner and I, including complementary bruschetta and gelati! Highly recommend!

We arrived tonight without a booking and they accommodated us. We are so pleased they were able to. Absolutely incredible. The service, food, drinks, ambiance is all amazing. If you’re partial to a marg the bartender makes excellent ones 🍸👌🏻 The food is so artistically incredible. If you read a bad review, ignore it, just go!!! It’s overall fantastic. Had the tasting menu which was delicious. They let us swap out the beef tartare for the spaghetti (so good only got a pic halfway through) and did the wine paring which was perfect. One of the best meals I’ve ever had.

Overall, this is is was a wonderful experience. From the delicious food to the outstanding service - there is nothing to fault here. It was somewhat of a coincidence that we were able to get a table here (we called early during our first night in Positano), but it we are a glad we got to try Casa Mele.

We were greeted with smiles and a welcoming energy. The waiters gave us a clear and informative overview of our food options/menus, and hit the nail on the head with the wine recommendation. We went with the 6 course tasting menu, which the staff prefaced by saying that they could switch out any dishes we didn’t like - but it all sounded amazing, so there was no need for that! We recommend going with the tasting menu and speaking with your waiter(s) about a wine. It was the perfect balance and experience.

There is an open kitchen where you can watch the magic happen - so if you can, get a table nearby. It’s fascinating!

In terms of dress code, it’s not that overly fancy but would still recommend trousers and a button down for the gentlemen, and a summer dress for the ladies.

We are thrilled that we got the experience this place (before it receives a well deserved Michelin star 😉).

This was the first restaurant my wife and I ate in Positano, the service was fantastic, the atmosphere was wonderful and the wine pairing was perfect!

The best meal we had in Italy, if not ever. We were honestly at a loss for words with how amazing the meal was. Each and every dish on the tasting menu was subsequently better. The service was phenomenal and huge thank you to the staff for making our engagement celebration that much more special. I made a poor attempt to tell the kitchen how truly phenomenal this meal was- from caring about my allergy to being so accommodating with wine recommendations and parings. I don't even like mackerel and I LOVED the dish they had prepared. Thank you to the casa mele chefs and team for this unforgettable evening and delicious food. This really should be a Michelin star restaurant.

Service was very good, we were looked after well by Alfonso, Luigi and Genaro. But a special mention goes to Alfonso who was the friendliest and warmest of all the team. Thank you!

The food was exquisite. We went for the 6 course tasting menu and this did not disappoint. It was €90 pp - you can have an extra course which is €100. You can also do the wine pairing which is an additional €70 / €80. Nothing in Positano is cheap but this was comparatively good value.

The stand out dishes for us were the tuna tataki and the beef ragu eliche pasta. Both incredible and would go back for those two dishes especially. The rest of the courses were also delicious.

If you want a different kind of night in Positano - there is no view, no outside area, it’s not in the main tourist area and it’s delicate food then you should definitely come… if you can get a table… you will need to book well in advance!

We were there for a special birthday. The 6 course tasting menu and wine pairings were creative and a culinary experience not to forget. The rendition of Happy Birthday which had the whole restaurant singing was a highlight!

I’m in such a fabulous food coma I can’t write much, but just come here. This was the best pizza we’ve ever had, and an exceptional customer service/authentic Italian experience. 10/10!!!!

This is our favorite restaurant in Positano. The staff is welcoming, attentative, personable and caring. The chef is very talented, preparing the food that is superb, artistically presented, high quality and delicious. Our home is a few minutes away, so even at times, when we are casually dressed, we are treated like royalty. Do not skip the dessert - it is all fantastic!

We walked into it because it was close to our hotel . The portions are normal (so not the Italian big portions ) but the food was so good! Not the typical restaurant with a view of the beach but instead We looked at the chef preparing it at the kitchen and felt like as If we were in a michelin restaurant. The staff were friendly and the manager was very sweet. Love the experience and the food.

Chef Salvatore DeMicco is nothing short of a food artist. My husband & I did the tasting menu at €100 per person. Well worth it; a steal actually.

It was the best meal we’ve had in Italy. Each dish was an experience; beautifully prepared, absolutely delicious and served with such attention & care. The servers were the most attentive we’ve had in Italy. They explained every detail of the creative dishes.

My only suggestion for you is to pace yourself and leave room for the desserts; there are several. I would venture to say that the desserts themselves are a tasting menu of their own.

This was probably the best meal we had in Italy. Everything about this place is special: the ambience, the food, and the incredible wine list. This is 5-star dining at its very best. I wish we'd had time to dine there more than once. Highly recommended!

There are typically three things that are measured at a dinning experience: food, service and the facility. I must say these guys nailed all three for me my wife and my two friends last night. We had the I Trust Menu (100 euro)that most people recommend with the wine pairing (50 euro) and it was delicious. You get to sit enjoy good stuff and watch them cook it right from your table. Do your self a favor and check this place out even if you just order ala cart style. My friends all gave high praises at the end of the meal and the guys who run the show Constanzo, Maria, and Chef Matteo just make it all worth it even more. 5 stars all the way!!!!!!

Wonderful and elegant coastal styled fare above positano. The room is a bit bright/loud and may be busier earlier than you’re used to due to the type of visitors to the city, but it’s delicious and well worth venturing a bit further outside of the center of town. They were great at accommodating our need for eating gluten free (wife is celiac) and also made nice local wine suggestions for our meal.

Two caveats: come here with extra time and/or show up early because they fill up and have a small staff; skip the brisket entree, their expertise is with the local stuff (fish, pasta, vegetables).
