G.D. VAJRA - BAROLO

We had an incredible visit. Very knowledgeable tour guide, generous wine tasting, and we got to meet multiple members of the Vajra family who were around the winery. Our favorite wines and an incredible visit.

We were so lucky to have a wonderful afternoon outside the winery, tasting wine in the shade. An enthusiastic young man shared knowledge of the wines and lovely stories from the family, We'll never forget how Kyè got its name!
Mr Aldo Vajra himself passed by and said hi, a pleasure to meet him and get to know the place a little!

Wonderfull family owned vineyard. Have a beautiful vision for the vinery and the origin and diversity of the Barolo area. Staff sparkling with passion, energy very knowledgeable. Construction of the new buildings is promessing, we are fan and will be back.

Fantastic wine at a reasonable price. Tasting experience was great, tried all the wines I wanted and the server was very knowledgeable.

Beautiful vineyard and wine cave with an excellent presentation of the wines and the production process (we had Elena as our guide, trilingual and extremely knowledgeable).

Amazing winery with amazing personnel. Natascia was so nice and very knowledgeable, the winemaker and his wife even stopped by to come greet us as well. Highly recommend!

We arrived without reservation so we could not visit it properly, still Maia that works there was extremely kind and give us the chance to taste a few of their labels. The Barbera was a very nice surprise. I would definitely recommend

Perfect start to the day! Outstanding quality and variety of wines are to be had at this family run winery. Francesca was our host for the tasting and she talked us through the grape varieties, the history of the winery and the area with both passion and knowledge. Excellent Barolo, as well as resiling and docletto under one roof. Wish our car could fit more bottles! Highly recommend....

OMG! What a lovely surprise. Elena was seriously the best guide we could hope for. So knowledgeable, so passionate and patient. The wines were great, but her passion about the wines and the family history were really what made our experience. We bought two cases and hope we can come back soon to buy the Langhe Nebbiolo as soon as it’s bottled.

A beautiful family estate where the passion of nature and the vibrations of the terroir is revealed in their incredible wines (Barbaresco, Barolo, …). Thank you for your warm welcome and the fantastic rediscovering of the Freisa.
