La Cambusa

We randomly stumbled here given all the food along the coast looked the same. It was a pleasant surprise. Sat in a balcony that overlooked the coast, has AC. Food was fantastic. Got the anchovies , eggplant and lobster pasta.

Fire food, pricey but in my opinion worth it. Service was not terrible but would be better with a more happy server. Overall great food& great views of the beach. Would recommend and come back

- pasta carbonara was amazing, really the way it should be made, full of flavour
- the tiramisu was very great with chocolate chips
- service was ok and fast
- atmosphere is nice, with great sea view
- drinks were good
- prices were moderate for the area

I visited this place in December 2022 with my family. And the waiter “Nino” was so nice to us especially to me and my mother. We had really good conversations with him and the food was great! He really took care of us. Thank you for making our holiday so enjoyable!

Great resteraunt overlooking the beach at positano. Both the mixed seafood appetiser and grilled mixed fish were excellent

Amazing pasta, we really loved the taste.

Just keep an eye before deciding to sit inside if there is a big group, the acoustic of the place is not the best and it can turn very loud. Other than that we recommend it!

Great view of the beach, just steps away. I had the seafood homemade pasta. The pasta was so chewy and delicious. They have tables outside and inside that is covered. I thought the pasta was the best in Positano.

Beautiful views of spiaggia grande, incredibly fresh seafood and impressive wine selection. We go every summer and La Cambusa is consistently good!

Great food, with a great view. We almost didn't come.because of some.of.the other reviews, but the food was awesome and the service was great.

What can I say to this, it’s the best spaghetti in Positano...then the place is clean even in rush hours in summer imagine that...the staff is super friendly and the service is very quick. If you thinking to visit Positano here you will find the perfect place to eat a real Italian meal. Highly recommended👏🏻

Carbonara and Tiramisu were really nice. The staff was okay. If you are not a special little snowflake, getting offended by looks etc. - everything is nice.

We really enjoyed this beach side restaurant, twice for lunch. The fish with lemon and potato was perfect for the hot weather as were the couple bottles of prosecco. The carbonara was also excellent. Service was good, just have to flag down the servers for their attention, the place is always packed and if reservations can be made, probably better. We had no issues walking in twice for lunch, though the better beach side tables are likely procured through reservation. Would recommend.

The person who served the food was so nice and never judged us as we are indians and service and food was so good. In terms of price everywhere it's same. Pizza average price is 14 to 16 euros and other food in range around 22 to 25 euros. better than restaurants in Positano. This is just in front of the Amalfi beach.

This place was out of a fairy tale. Right along the beautiful beach. The food was incredible. I know I’ll never be back because it’s a once in a lifetime trip but if I could, I would definitely go again and again!

Food was really good: perhaps overpriced in comparison but food was really tasty
