Absolutely spectacular gardens accessible through the palace. Completely breathtaking in its beauty. Adorned with statues and carvings and full of exotic plants in prime condition. The houseplant greenhouse is great too, don't rush through, take a moment to look up and appreciate the scale of the plants

Huge and magnificent. The palace wasn't that interesting to me, except for the amazing views of the lake, the grottos which were very unique and impressive, and the story about Napoleon which was a juicy piece of gossip. The gardens on the other hand are breathtaking. A must see in my opinion.

3rd time coming here when visiting Italy. One of my favourite places in the world.
Maybe because was one of the first places a saw when traveling alone.

One of the beautiful Borromean islands in the Gulf of Lake Maggiore. You can enjoy lunch at one of the lakeside restaurants.

Stunning palace and gardens are a must for visitors to Stresa. Reasonable cost for small boat to the 3 islands . Make a day of it visiting all three. You won't be disappointed. If you leave at around 10am, you will get over to your first island before it gets too busy.

Beautiful both indoors and outdoors, gets really warm during the summer.

Beautiful and special place that you must see. It's not free, ticket for single person is 20€ (castle and gardens) but it's worth every penny.

Cool island, there is a museum palace and an incredible garden, children will be very happy. In the garden there is a fountain with statues, a labyrinth of bushes, but most importantly - snow-white peacocks, which often open their tails and walk directly in front of you, very tame, there is also a poultry house with parrots, namely about 30 Lovebirds. The view from the island is spectacular.

For anyone visiting Lake Maggiore, this is a must. In addition to exploring the streets, it is worth paying the fee to enter the Palace and the gardens. Rococo architecture may not be to everyone's taste, but the scale of the interiors is undeniably impressive. Outside, excessive ornamentation continues. However, the planting is beautiful, and the views of the lake are wonderful.

The entrance is through the palace and at the exit there is a book shop and café.

Beautiful place full of natural beauty, i would advice not to visit on a hot day... Restrooms are available, there is bar near exit from garden.. well maintained
