Chalet Monte Cristo

Haus Monte Cristo is a wonderful chalet divided into a few apartments. We stayed in the 3 bed flat with a balcony, which included two baths, a lovely kitchen area and living room area with a great dining table. The flat was very spacious for the 6 of us plus our baby. They provide a cot and high chair for babies which is great. The views from the flat are absolutely spectacular, there is nothing like it. The flat itself includes everything you might need to cook and has towels and shower gels/shampoos. The only small issue is that there is no bigger bin to empty the bins to during your stay but we had asked at the hotel and they came and picked up our rubbish. There is also a laundry area in the basement of the building but you need coins to use the washing machine and the dryer. The basement also has a ski room to drop off your skiis and boots. The hotel is a minute walk away so easy to walk over and ask for anything. In terms of skiing, if there is snow you can easily ski out of the chalet and go onto the slope that is the end of red slope which is just a path so anyone can ski on it. At the end of the path you have take of your skis and walk for a minute to get to the Matterhorn express. Skiing in is a little tougher as you get to a point where you have to walk up a hill with your skiis. To get to sunegga ski lift you can either take the bus or a taxi which is about 25 CHF depending on how many people you are Overall our stay was great and would recommend it.

Love place, very populat, but can find solitude now and then on beautiful hikes.

Vielen Dank dem Monte Cristo Team, meine Anfrage wurde innert Kürze beantwortet. Dorothea hat uns in Zermatt sehr nett empfangen und uns über alles informiert. Das Duplex Appartement mit 4 Schlafzimmer war genial, es fehlte an nichts. Sehr geschmackvoll und praktisch eingerichtet.
