Ristorante La Pescheria

Really loved the assorted grilled lake Fish entree with vegetables and potatoes! Simple but excellent! Very fresh fish, and great veggies highly recommend this place for this dish! Ambience was nice though service was a bit harried due to tour groups having dinner and them being short staffed. But that seemed to be the case in most restaurants on the island.

Best squid and risotto we have ever had! The squid/octopus was so soft, fresh and nicely grilled. The tast is amazing! Ever that we had the green risotto , also incredible!
The staff is really friendly and also nice to our 8 month old daughter.

Only tip: better/safer babychair. This one was a bit old and had no good safety belts.

Wonderful attentive staff and the food matched the atmosphere. A beautiful boat ride to dinner didn't hurt either. Overall a great experience.

I had a delicious caprese salad and margherita pizza. I love how the caprese salad looked like a flower. The cooked tomatoes on the pizza were so sweet!

Nice restaurant with great view to the lake. Have been here couple of times for lunch and the food has been good. Staff is very nice even though it was very busy both times I was there.

I have just eaten one of the best meals that I have had in 7 weeks of travelling Italy. What made it so exceptional was the service. The 2 waiters were attentive and friendly. I was greeted with a smile and shown to a table overlooking the Lake (I am travelling on my own and sometimes get a less than perfect spot). I was given a complimentary glass of Prosecco and a small bruschetta. Then the delicious meal. I enjoyed Black Angus Affumicato (not sure of the spelling) served with pickled vegetables. Then Slow cooked Calamari with potato wedges and steamed green beans. So good. Tiramisu completed the meal. All for a very reasonable price. My compliments to the Chef and the staff at La Pescheria. I highly recommend this restaurant. Well done and thank you 😊

We had a couple truly beautiful days in Stresa, and we loved the Borromeo Islands. This was my second trip, and I wanted to introduce my friends to La Pescheria, of which I had fond memories from my previous visit. We found it and had a lovely lunch at La Pescheria, with great fish, shaded seating and absolutely flawless service. I can't wait to return!

In general, food and service is better on Isola dei Pescatori than Bella. This restaurant is fantastic whether a first time or returning visitor. Ask for the central table over the stairs. Service and food is wonderful, but the views make this spot a must-visit!

Food and service was great. Food selection and drinks were very good.
