We hiked up from the Punta Regina hotel in Positano and got quite the workout. This is a moderate climb but you'll feel it with all of the stairs! Bring good shoes and a bottle of water. You'll pass some refill stations in town and again once you get to the top near the church. Note that you will pass a sign that makes it seem as though it is the end of the trail. Keep pressing onwards and the views are worth the extra effort.

As mentioned by other reviews, it's a 1h hike to the top and 45 min on the way back if you do it at a decent pace without stopping too much. If you do this hike, you must have lunch at Ristorante Zi Peppe. It has very good prices compared to the rest of Positano and excellent food. When we went, it looked as it was closed but it was actually open.

We hiked down and up again from Santa Maria del Castello to Positano. We parked our car close to where the path starts. There are no real parking slots, we just left the car there and it was safe when we returned in the afternoon. Down it took us about one hour (to the town, not all the way down to the beach). The view down to Positano was exceptional! Most of the time there were guardrails along the path and it wasn’t too steep. The way back up took us a little over an hour (1:10). But if you want to take many breaks, it might take you longer. Google Maps was about right with its estimated times. The sign on top of the hill said 2:20h, but I think that must have been a different route. We went the route 333. The hardest part of the hike were the stairs in Positano.

Walked up from mid-Positano - a 1780 feet ascent - and was thoroughly exhausted and impressed with the beauty of this hike. Amazing views of Positano and the surrounding hills. Path is mostly well maintained, but some scambly bits. Would highly recommend if you are in reasonably good shape. It is well worth the sweat.

Just do it! No backpack needed if you’re staying in Positano. Grab water and there is a restaurant on top of the mountain (there is a village)… Enjoy

Very easy to get to. You have incredible views, and honestly about halfway up the town of positano itself, you feel like you have the city to yourself. The wooden handrail is pretty weak and the path could really use a weedwacker in a few spots. I'd recommned skipping the flat part at the very top if it's overgrown.

The views are ridiculous the entire time, and it's short enough to fit into a day trip. There are tons of wildflowers along the trail as well. It's also close enough to the town that you can walk to the trailhead itself. Note that the trail has about 50 switchbacks and a lot of stairs.

Można do niej dojechać autobusem z Vico Equense.
