Love this place! They welcomed us with so much warmth and hospitality. The portions were very generous (the picture is just one half of the portion since my friend and I shared) and they even gave us free dessert. Pasta was delicious, my new favourite spot.

Great traditional trattoria with lovely warm service and very tasty local dishes. Happy to visit again.

So glad to have found this hidden gem. Servings and portion sizes are very generous(my friend and I shared one portion and it filled us up). Everything was perfect. Food was one of the best that we’ve eaten in Italy so far. Surprisingly the prices were super cheap. Staff was super nice and welcoming. Highly recommend!!!

We enjoyed our experience here as it was one of the few places open when we were hungry for lunch. We had salad, pizza and cappuccinos. We also had some dessert and I’ve been trying to find the amaretto cookies we had since we returned home to the US

Pici are amazing! Huge portions, super tasty, waiters are warm and easy going.
The restaurant is in the main street of city center, not expensive, and very very typical with vintage furniture. Stop here if you can

we were looking for a restaurant after our visit from the museum,maybe we were little bit late for lunch and so early for dinner so some of the restaurants nearby where closed.Via Nazionale we were welcome by the staff of the restaurant(I am not sure if he is the owner,but he is very accomodating).They are hospitable and fast in attending to the requests of the customers.I like the place,its so artistic and with good and friendly ambiance. The food are delicious..and who could say no for a free pastry offered to us..hmmm its nice with a sip of warm tea or coffee in this cold afternoon of November....

This was one of very few hospitable places we found on our first day in Cortona during the off-season. Our mistake: hoping to find food at 3pm after spending several lunchless hours on the train. We were told by more than one pretentious local that we should not expect to find food during such a silly time to eat. Caffe degli Artisti to the rescue. Pasta, pizza, sandwiches all were delicious. Server brought out 3 rounds of unexpected free treats for us to enjoy (one app and two desserts). The atmosphere was warm and quaint. An excellent experience.
