Lastresa

We came to Stresa for a day trip and we had the luck to find this place. We had a great dinner, the place got busy, and like us, everyone came without booking but anyways the waitresses, they did a great job in looking after us. The wine list was incredible and for everyone pockets, we bought a very good wine bottle for less then 30€. The food from the starters to the desserts was delicious!! The fondue with pumpkin tart and radicchio was an incredible balance of flavours! I can just recommend you to go and try!

Fresh seafood, very friendly service! I can highly recommend the Tartar and the black Pappardelle with seafood. The portions were good (each had a starter and main) for us. When asked if I can have the pasta without meat (bacon) for me, it was no problem - I appreciate it! Also the waitress made space for our stroller and we felt very welcomed with a baby.

Shoutout to the young brown-haired lady who not only served up great vibes but also dropped some killer suggestions on how to spend a day in Stresa. Heads up, this spot’s hot, so lock in that reservation. But if you roll in last-minute, they’ve got that knack for making space. Trust – it’s the move.

Nice cosy restaurant off the main thoroughfare. Interesting cafes and shops this way. Friendly welcoming wait staff. I had the pappadelle with prawns, my friend had the vegetable ratatouille with burrata, both delicious with just the right flavours. The pastas are all homemade and they use 100% local produce. Nice respite from the crowds and the heat.

Great little restaurant. We were made to feel very welcome. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. I can highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Stresa

Excellent food and service. Authentic and artistic at the same time. Easily the best meal we had around Lago Maggiore.

Delicious food, great service, wonderful restaurant. We enjoyed our three course dinner + dessert, drinks and coffee - all for a good price.

When there is a smaller menu, you can expect a higher quality of food. Lastersa does not disappoint. Excellent food - flavor balanced, well executed and cooked to perfection. Home style ragu that you could eat forever, seafood pappardelle that had flavors dance around on your tongue (you can taste the seafood stock used in the sauce) and a selection of home made desserts - whose ingredients shine through.

Excellent dishes made with attention to detail. Flavours and textures were on point. Service was also good.

It's rare to get out a restaurant and being this much baffled by the marvelous dishes and extremely kind, helpful and professional service.
Both meat and pasta were exquisite. Accompanied with such a delightful suggestion from the waitress for the wine, a real discovery it was.
On top of that the dessert chocolate soufflé was good but the real gem was the creme brûlé pistachio, out of this world !

Fresh house made Pasta, gnocchi and desserts. Happily adapted the Gnocchi to be vegetarian for my daughter, pleasant service english speaking delicious fresh meal with a nice salad. Portions weren't huge hence room for dessert. Walked around all day looking at menus and food before settling on here - its a good choice.

Nice place, friendly staff, delicious food, not mentioning good wine selection.

Very nice Vegetarian ratatouille. Creme Brulee was light and creamy inside.
