Have been here a few times over the years and always go back for their consistently brilliant carbonara, and have listed it as my carbonara comparison to any other one I have,

I also had the octopus polpi on a puree of pumpkin, the pumpkin added a nice touch and the octopus was perfectly cooked and well seasoned.

Very nice food in an atmospheric spot in the city. Would recommend the eggplant parmesan!! Was able to walk-in without reservation.

We had a Gnocchi and rabbit, both was really nice, the rabbit one of the best i ever had. As a desert: a delicious tiramisu. Nice, fast and clean service, thanks for an amazing evening 👏

Lovely location, the terrace is well maintained and heated. Service is excellent, welcoming and polite, providing good advices.
The food is very good, especially for a tourist location like Stresa where most restaurants don't even care.
Definitely recommend.

the first thing: go there! we waited a little bit outside and then go inside, it was a bit hot, we ordered burata , carbunara and ravioli it was delicious!! fresh! we also took the tiramissu and also so good !!

Nice and cozy spot near lake maggiore, very kind service, quiet and with good food. Prices are moderate and there is shade and good weather.

I am from Michigan USA, so enjoy lake perch fish often. Amici did such an excellent preparation for dinner that I returned a second time for lunch. The sautéed spinach is an excellent side dish as well.

Friendly staff, super food and ambience prompted a return visit to this lovely restaurant situated in a slightly quieter street away from the busy main square in Stresa. After an unpleasant experience in another establishment closer to the lake where clearly customer service is of less importance, the warm welcome back to Degli Amici was even more appreciated. Pizza yesterday and grilled sea bass with spinach this evening were both great and I would highly recommend a visit.

We've eaten a lot of places and were pretty much blown away by our dining experience at Osteria degli amici. The four of us ordered 8 different dishes all of which were fantastic with fresh local ingredients. The wine list is not super extensive, but has good options for all tastes. The service was warm and professional. Truly felt "amongst friends".

Family style food food. Reasonably priced. Fresh ingredients and pasta. 10/10 would recommend. 🍕🍝🍷

The food was amazing and super fresh! The service was amazing and the whole experience felt very authentic. I super recommend having dinner at this restaurant and have antipasti, past and fish because it was absolutely perfect!!!!

Beautifully situated restaurant with authentic feeling of Italian flair to it, especially outside on the pretty garden terrace. Very friendly joyful staff. Very good and tasty food, served quickly even though there were many guests. Even though all tables were occupied later in the evening, there still was a private athmosphere to it and it was not noisy.
