beautiful villa in a great location with superb service! Rooms were new and clean while maintaining a rustic feel.

I recently booked the entire building and hosted a women's retreat (9 of us in total). While I had hosted a retreat the year prior, this was the first time I was doing all the planning & organizing myself.

For the entire year leading up to the retreat, Orlando was very responsive and helpful when I had questions or needed something.

Once we arrived, I was reminded of the absolutely stunning view and couldn't wait for the rest of the attendees to arrive so they could see it too.

Orlando and his team went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make our stay perfect. From daily breakfasts, lunches when needed, evening aperitivos & delicious dinners to communicating and helping with our driver, making reservations and fulfilling every request on and off the menu. They were flexible and so, so accommodating.

Orlando was a huge part of me pulling off an incredible retreat. Leaving all of us to feel spoiled by the views, the food and especially the service.

I hope to bring many more loved ones & host more retreats at Locanda della Picca in the future.

We just spent 5 nights staying here. Every morning eating breakfast on the patio with that view was lovely. We explored Umbria on Vespas and then had a superb dinner in the evening with another wonderful view of the sunset over Citta Della Pieve. Orlando and Patrick and the entire staff are excellent and funny. Great conversations.

We did not stay at the hotel but ate at the restaurant. Amazing views, amazing food, amazing service and very reasonable prices. It was recommended by our hotel and we were very happy we went!

This place is perfect! Has an amazing setting and view, food is truly delicious, variety of pastas and meat. Excellent selection of wine you can only find here at this restaurant. This is also a small hotel but we only had dinner here at sunset. It was truly amazing!

The rooms were cozy, views beautiful, and impeccable service. I have food allergies and the restaurant was very accommodating to my needs. I was able to enjoy the wonderful food without worry.

It was an absolutely unforgettable experience eating here. The setting is stunning, the food is incredible and the service is absolutely outstanding. Can't recommend this place enough!

Lovely restaurant with insanely delicious food. We ate here on our first night in Umbria and came back for our last night to end on a high. The food was some of the best we had on our trip and the staff was really lovely, especially the lovely owner who is so passionate and knowledgeable about food and wine.

Siamo capitati per caso in questo meraviglioso posto mentre eravamo sulla strada per Assisi. Nonostante fossimo un gruppo di sette persone senza prenotazione , siamo stati accolti con molta gentilezza! Ci siamo trovati di fronte una persona molto e preparata, gentile e attenta ad ogni nostra necessità proponendo in ultimo un gustoso dolce senza lattosio per mia figlia ... Cibo ottimo e locale molto ordinato e pulito . Lo Consiglio vivamente .

Il posto è molto bello e facilmente raggiungibile.
Abbiamo scelto la Locanda della Picca per visitare l'Umbria.
Con la mia famiglia, ci siamo trovati molto bene.
La colazione, con diverse possibilità di scelta, viene servita nella terrazza panoramica ed, essendoci solo sei camere, si può gustare in tutta tranquillità. Buon viatico per iniziare bene la giornata.
Camera ampia e confortevole, con una bella vista. Il bagno ha sia vasca che doccia. Molto apprezzata, visto il periodo del soggiorno, la fornitura di acqua nel minibar.
Di sera, abbiamo cenato nel ristorante, aperto anche a chi non alloggia nella Locanda, apprezzando la qualità del cibo e del servizio.
Piacevole fare due passi nel percorso creato per andare (in sicurezza) nella vicina Città della Pieve, borgo molto carino che merita almeno una visita.
La piscina, non ancora agibile quando vi abbiamo soggiornato (era appena stata ultimata), sembra molto bella e arricchisce l' offerta.
Tutti i componenti dello staff sono stati cortesi e disponibili.
