Not to be missed. Could be the best-located bar in Sicily. Incomparable baroque cathedral next door. Incomparable chocolate too - Modica chocolate (unique in texture and taste) is of course the best in the world, by a very very long way....

The most scenic bar in Modica, with lovely views. Excellent and friendly service. Offers wide variety of snacks and has both indoor and outdoor seating (recommended). Must try the chocolate granita!

The best price for the service and food! Everything was delicious, the owners were just adorable and they have gone all the way to explain their traditions! Plus do not worry you can taste the chocolate with anything you are buying ✨

Nice and authentic bar and cafe next to duomo San Giorgio. Very good place to enjoy breakfast or a light meal or snack. Beautiful view on the lower part of Modica. Very friendly owner and staff. Delicious pomegranate granite!

Nice cafe with great paninis and local bears that are serve along with fresh olives as a snack and last but not least - with amazing view on Cathedral San Giorgio. An obligatory refreshing spot after you climb all these stairs!

Friendly staff and amazing coffee/ chocolate. I had the cold ‘hot’ chocolate and it was the best drink I have ever tasted! Very reasonably priced and amazing view. Must try if you visit. Would definitely recommend!

My local whilst staying in Modica and highly recommended. The owner and staff are 👌🏾 the cornetto with ricotta amazing and ditto the home made crema da cioccolato (I think a Chocolate granita) plus the amazing view. Does it get any better.

So good it doesn’t even suffer from the smattering of tourists who climb the duomo stairs for a coffee and granita fix (but also lots of locals and also often quiet so I feel I have it all to myself). Visit and longer here, you won’t be disappointed 😄

Don't get turned away by the touristy location! We went there in the afternoon for a quick drink. The Aperol Spritz we ordered was very good and pretty cheap considering the amazing view. The olives which came with it were delicious as well. The Staff was very nice and spoke decent English.
All in all a perfect experience!

We tried pomegranate and coffee granita. Very refreshing and nice view after long walk to the church. Very friendly and welcoming service. Brioche is a bit dry but tasty.

We couldn't believe that we could get such good chocolate Cremallate & Brioche so reasonably near the Cathedral of St George. €8 for 2😳 And it was the best we tasted in our 3 week trip around Sicily.

So polite and friendly and attentive! Amazing breakfast with paninis, cappuccino and fresh orange juice. We loved it! Also bought some chocolate. Owner was really amazing!

Came here to start our day with granita, brioche, and espresso before exploring Modica. The owner was so sweet.

I usually avoid places like this, which are so close to a major tourist attraction. But after a long Sunday walk, I decided to stop by for a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset. The man who served me (maybe he is the owner?) is very kind. What a lovely experience!

Arrived late almost closing but they offered us 2 spremute and one croissant, amazing!

Great Sicilian panini with pistachio. They sell many medica chocolate and you can try different ones. I bought a little dumpling made of minced meat and chocolate:) really tasty! The staff is really kind and funny

We have been there end of Jun. The bar is very good for relaxing on a hot day after visiting the Dom. We liked Modica much better than Ragusa in general. Nice view also to the major building of Dom.
Very kind, smiley people and with some suspicion that they offer us something more special (chocolate) than asked coffee we will pay our daily budget: no. It was nice surprise no trick but very good reasonable prices and water also very acceptable price on top. We promised there that I will put nice opinion on this forum! Ask for the melted chocolate ice-cream mix hidden right behind the counter (I asked for the name several times and still forgot :() . It's not the standard milky ice cream but some local house-made mixture. I ate 2x and regret not having a 3rd one!!! Super friendly staff, quick service, very nice views from the terrasse above. If back in this town, this is the place I will certainly come back to...
