Excellent, if a little basic. 5 minutes walk from the main road through tiny hill streets, well sign posted, extremely charming venue and setting.

We ordered the fairly simple dishes (sausage and potatoes, trofie pomodora, lasagne), but they were all very tasty, decent but not massive portions, with lovely parfait/ice cream things for dessert. Made a lovely fuss of my 2 Yr old niece. Recommend

So far the best traditional Sicilian trattoria that we have seen during our trip. The atmosphere is great, the food is authentic and the prices are very reasonable.

Best food we had so far in our 11 days in Sicily. The Lolli soup, Trippa, Ravioli were all sublime. I rarely leave reviews but this place was just really, really good.

The staff was very friendly, although we entered almost at their closing time. The food was excellent if you are looking for traditional, local food. It was delicious! Would highly suggest to try „Lolli“. Would recommend and we will definitely visit again!

What a charming experience. The food was delicious and unfussy not to mention great value for the money. The staff could not have been nicer and were so helpful.

We had the mixed hot antipasti all of which was lovely but in particular had a wonderful arancini and a delicious cheese scacce. We had the roast pork with the red sauce and were practically licking the plate.

The food was excellent and they have a decent selection of wines. The staff is friendly and the service is always good. A bit far away from the mainly road but you will have chance to admire the magnificences of old county of Modica. A must

Homestyle Sicilian Comfort Food

Front room on a Monday at lunch around 1300 was all locals, totally full. in next room, half locals, half tourists like us. Staff speaks a little English to assist with ordering, menu is in Italian, English and German. Antipasto was large, easily enough for two to share and excellent flavors and textures with wide variety, including aroncini, foccacia, roasted melanzane (eggplant) with mint, bruschetta, soft mild cheese, salumi among others. Ravioli with ricotta and tomato meat sauce was spot on. Tripe with capers and slightly spicy tomato meat sauce was so very tasty. If you have never tried tripe and are a little adventurous, you might really enjoy this dish. Lemon custard was light and refreshing. Very reasonable price for the amount and quality of the food. The interior is quaint with a few old items on the wall. Google said closed on Monday, but they were definitely open on Monday 2 Oct 2017. They accept credit cards. Appears kid friendly, there was a 4 year old girl at the next table enjoying her meal.
Only objection was the bread served with the primi and secondi did not match the rest of the meal, as there was good bread with the antipasto. This bread appeared to be factory made, with bland flavor and texture and without much crust. Maybe a small thing but there are lots of great bakeries to provide better bread if not able to make it all in house.

Very nice place, tables inside only, well air conditioned, probably crowded during evenings so table reservation recommended, provides lunch. Not so easy place to find. Good food with local touch, sensible prices.
