Massi the Driver

If you are considering a wine tour with Massi, do it, do it, do it! It was a highlight of our recent 2-week trip to Florence and Tuscany. We did the tour through Italy Unfiltered, which Massi runs with his wife, US expat Debbie. The company is run by US expat Debbie, and her Sienna native husband Massi.

Massi picked us up right on time and was an absolute delight. He was knowledgeable, professional and saw to our every need, including asking if we would like to stop for coffee first, and he took us to a great cafe. He came in to each of the vineyards and made sure we were settled in. We learned a lot about Tuscany and wine. At the end of the day, he asked if we would like to stop and watch the sunset at an upcoming good viewing spot. Um, yes! He also seemed to really, really enjoy the day. We learned a lot about wine and Italy. His English is fluent.

My only regret is that we didn’t book their services for more of our trip.

We could NOT have had a more knowledgeable, companionable, experienced driver than Massi. He can get you to fabulous places, answer your questions, and provide insight into the beauty and history of Tuscany. I couldn’t recommend him any more enthusiastically!

Massi is everything that you want in a driver/sommelier. He is kind, unbelievably knowledgeable and passionate about his work. I could not recommend him and his wife’s company enough. He masterfully guided us through our magnificent day and gave us an experience we will never forget. We told him multiple times throughout the day that we had one of the best days of our lives touring the Tuscan countryside and wineries with him. Book him for one of the best days of your life. Seriously. Thank you so very much , Massi and we hope to see you next year!

Massi is a wonderful, very reliable driver who will ensure you have a safe journey to your destination. He has a large, clean and comfortable vehicle and is a very safe driver able to maneuver the narrow passageways of old Italian villages. He is prompt and patient! Our group especially enjoyed hearing him describe the areas we were driving through. I hope to return to Italy and will definitely contact him again! I highly recommend him to others looking to have a special driver in the Tuscany area! June 2023

What a lovely person Massi is. Our company utilized his driving services while on a recent trip to Italy and he was the best! He was always on time, had excellent communication, drove incredibly well (I am the one who gets car sick so I can vouch!) and he was just so kind and professional. He is incredibly knowledgeable about the area and wine. I would not hesitate to use or recommend his services as a driver or wine tour guide to anyone!

Massi is a legend. We booked him last minute to get to and from a wedding party and he was amazing. Don’t know what we would’ve done without him. He was communicative, professional , punctual and amazing. I would 1000% utilize his services again. Cannot say enough good things about him and his service! Thanks Massi!
