Grand Hotel Tremezzo

My wife and I stayed at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo and were not disappointed!

Set right on the lake the views are stunning. We were greeted on arrival by two eager and helpful bellmen who already knew who we were and whisked our bags away. We arrived early and the room wasn’t ready so the staff let us eat in the restaurant free of charge which was a nice gesture.

The rooms are well equipped and reasonably spacious and the whole hotel is very well appointed.

We reserved the entire spa for an hour (included in the resort fee) which was amazing, everyone should try it. We rented the tennis courts for an hour (also included) which was a ton of fun. The complimentary breakfast every morning was amazing and so relaxing as you look out over the lake sipping your coffee.

Overall the staff were very attentive, helpful and we really felt like we received 5 star treatment. The hotel is clearly well managed and customer satisfaction is top priority. For example, we got hit with a surprise bill for ironing services (they do not let you have an iron in the room for some reason) and upon explaining we would have ironed our own clothes if we could get an iron, they just removed the charge from the bill no questions asked. I like that they treat you with respect and don’t nickel and dime you.

I would highly recommend the hotel, we had an amazing time during our stay.

Stopped by as walk-ins on a busy Sunday lunch as a family with two kids. From the valet service to the site inspection by the Front Office Manager - everything very warm and welcoming. A true gem as a family owned and run luxury hotel. Private and stylish, from the architecture down the the uniform details. Congrats for this achievement! Will be back for sure!

Had brunch here with my family. It was amazing. Beautiful views .had a walk round the grounds and garden which was equally as beautiful. The food was delicious staff was very helpful there to help.

Spent a few days at this hotel on my honeymoon and couldn’t be happier with our stay. The staff was incredible and attentive and the service overall was like nothing I’ve ever experienced before. From the moment we arrived the service from every level of their staff was incredible.

Every morning we started our day with the unbelievable breakfast overlooking the lake. We then spent time in both outdoor pools, which were both stunning. When it rained we made use of the spa and the indoor infinity pool there.

Our room overlooking the lake was beautiful.

I had an amazing stay at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo. The interior design is absolutely beautiful, combining classic charm with modern comfort. The food was fantastic, and I have to give a special shoutout to Tommasi, our server. He was incredibly attentive and made our dining experience truly memorable. Highly recommend this hotel.

I want to start by saying that there is nothing I love more than a great 5 star hotel. When the service, attention to detail, and overall care shown to the guest goes above and beyond expectation. It makes the price point totally worth it and not worthy of a second thought.
GHT had been on my bucket list of hotels to try, and I’m so happy to report that it didn’t disappoint.
It wasn’t a perfect stay, but the small issues I had were not huge detractors that wouldn’t make me go back. As a matter of fact, I can’t wait to go again and maybe split my stay between this hotel and their sister property Passalaqua.
Now let’s get to what I loved:
The property. The restaurants. And the bar. We started the night having an aperitivo at Tbar before dinner. The live music and drinks and view were great! Such a great start to the evening. We also always ended there w a night cap.
Dinner at LA TERRAZZA GUALTIERO MARCHESI was divine as well. The service and the food were great. Truly can’t miss it! Even my two picky kids loved it.
Tpizza was the fave amongst my kids. My husband and I really enjoyed it as well. Great pizza and apperols.
The breakfast buffet was bomb as well. I dare you to tell me otherwise.
As far as the hotel goes, it was gorgeous and everything you imagine. The pools, the decor, the vibe, Ruy (one of their two wooden boats that you can rent)! Loved it all!
As far as my negatives:
My kids’ room was very warm. They sent someone to fix it right away but it never got cool enough. Just bearable. Therefore it made the room feel a little musty.
Also, the service at pool was a little slow for our taste. We kind of had to go hunt for the server every day we were there.
Anyway, if you’re thinking about going- do not hesitate! It is an incredible experience!

From the moment my wife and I checked in we knew we were in store for an amazing experience. The entire staff went above and beyond in everything they did. The views from our room and everywhere in the hotel are out of this world. The breakfast was phenomenal and all the other restaurants were great too. A big thank you to Carolina, Frederico and Marco for all their help.

This is absolutely one of the most beautiful hotels for weddings. We've shot a bride and groom preparation + first look here and love the visuals and backdrops. The staff is super kind and happy to assist. This hotel gives a very elevated elegant vibrant look to your wedding pictures. The external pool area is simply amazing for some portraits. Super super recommended!!

First of all, the people working there starting from the entrance to the Front Desk, Concierge and restaurants and amenities are Amazing people, every detail will be looked after to make sure you enjoy your stay.

The palace is beautiful. We stayed here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and we also took elopement photos. The hospitality at this hotel is unmatched. If you can afford it please stay here.

One of my fave places on the lake. I organise weddings and recommend that my couples stay here for their mini moon. I organise private dinners and special wedding get togethers. This hotel is outstandingly stunning, a very special experience and the staff are cheerful and professional.

Where do I even begin with our wonderful experience with GHT! My fiancé and I have chosen GHT to host several of our wedding festivities. Last October we had the chance to visit and do a site visit and menu tasting, and we were left in awe by its sheer beauty. While the online pictures paint a perfect picture, nothing prepared us for the pure magic upon arrival. This hotel is the epitome of luxury. The service surpasses all expectations! The ambiance throughout the property is simply surreal.

In terms of wedding planning, we couldn't be more pleased. Eleonora, from the events department, has been an absolute gem and our guiding light. Her meticulous attention to detail, coupled with her warm demeanor, has made us feel truly valued and cared for. With her expertise, our wedding visions are being brought to life seamlessly. We just made a reservation at the sun deck for an early lunch / brunch and it was so worth it! Gorgeous view amazing hotel to walk around great spritz!

Review for T-Bar: 100% worth the visit. We were prepared to be disappointed due to mixed reviews but decided to check it out anyway, and were very pleasantly surprised!! Since we had a resy, our boat was able to use the dock. Highly recommend Mexilos for mezcal lovers, Negroni (very good), espresso martini, Caesar with shrimp, lobster ravioli, eggplant parm, and their burger! Food and drinks were both excellent. Service was on point for our entire experience.

A spectacular old world grand hotel! Beautiful rooms, building, views, and gardens. The food is good but terribly over-priced.

This hotel is nothing short of a magical masterpiece. The rooms are gorgeous. The staff is so very friendly and loving. We can certainly learn so much from these beautiful people from Italy in America on customer service. The manager Alberto is absolutely wonderful. He goes above and beyond to make sure his guests have a wonderful experience. The views of the lake are spectacular. I feel truly blessed to be able to enjoy this beautiful place.
