Läderach Chocolate Store

MUST DO in Zermatt! The fragrance is intoxicating from the moment you walk in. The chocolate is beautiful and if you are lucky, the nice people working will let you sample different flavors. While it is approximately $35 USD a pound, a small piece goes a long way and is an incredible treat. Our piece of chocolate was 3” x 5” and was $7. Totally worth it an definitely going back before we leave.

The store is clean and organised it’s easy to skim through and pick your products. Penty of options including candies. Prices are pretty high compared to the surrounding but the chocolates are pretty good!
They have beautiful packaging for gifts with decent quantity. Lady at the dark/milk chocolate section was super nice and took her to explain and pack what we needed. Cool place to explore and pack stuff if you are on a vacation, the offer samples of most of the chocolate bars.

I found it very expensive but it was kind of expected for the type of place so I'm not judging on that. It seems high quality.

Delicious chocolate! There are so many options and all of the flavors were incredible. I could spend all day there trying flavors and day dreaming about chocolate.

The various chocolates in this store were exceptional. It was very nice that we were able to sample some if our purchases and the sales ladies were very friendly and cordial!

A friend had recommended that this was the best chocolate shop in Switzerland—and she was right!

Glad it was available in the little town of Zermatt! It was a wide selection of chocolates and even featured limited edition and seasonable flavors. It is quite overwhelming to choose as they all look so good, and honestly, would’ve loved to try it all.

We ended up trying the milk and dark chocolate macadamia, and the family was easily obsessed with both!! We want more… The nuts seem to be covered in caramelized sugar before mixed in with the chocolate so you have this subtle crunch of nut and crystallized sugar together with the chocolate.

We had also bought some pre-packed boxes of milk and dark chocolates so hopefully they are as good and have the same quality. Highly recommend this brand!! Artisanal quality chocolate!

Best chocolate and for a good price for Switzerland. We tasted the salted caramel chocolate and the milk chocolate and they were delicious!

Perfect for all chocolat lovers. The team is very nice and friendly. From standard bar de chocolat, actual big pieces of chocolate, heart chocolate, and all sorts of chocolate. It’s perfect for gift or even to enjoy some gourmandise.
It also open 7/7 which is a big plus.
The chocolat au lait with pistachio and Hazelnut is absolutely delicious.

Swiss chocolates done to perfection couldn’t help myself from bringing $100 worth back for the states with me.

It’s like Toblerone, but even better. Except maybe not better for life expectancy? It’s just so delicious!!!

I wish I had taken photos before enjoying all my beautiful chocolates. Quality is astounding, customer service wonderful, and the taste is unmatchable. My favorite is the FrischSchoggi strawberry curd white. I bought plenty to bring home to family and have ordered online multiple times since. Love!

Lots of selection with mini tasting packets which were amazing before we commit to a bigger pack. The chocolate tastes delicious too!

A proper chocolate store!!! The likes of which you'll only find in Switzerland. This store features a wide array of chocolate delights. You'll be hard pressed to know which ones to choose, because unfortunately you can't eat them all.

By the way the store smells amazing.

Super convenient location and when we went it wasn't ever too busy so we could always get hands on help. The associates working there are so pleasant and patient, and you can try the bark before you buy! The chocolate truffles are so delicious and we found some great gifts to take back home. They will gift wrap!

I am in love with Laderach chocolate! The flavors are so rich and delicious, and the quality is top-notch. I've gone back for seconds (or even thirds!) more than once. Jennifer provided great service, and the next time I'm in Zermatt, Switzerland, I will definitely return.
