They went above and beyond with customer service. They have a very large selection of wines, and we're very knowledgeable on every bottle. We tasted many different wines, and while tasting, they told us the story behind every one of them, such as where and how it was made, which was highly impressive. They also gave us recommendations for which foods would be best to pair with each bottle. Overall, I was highly impressed with the level of service and the entire experience. I will be making a stop in the store every time I visit the area. If I could give it 10 stars, I would.

First I'd like to say big thanks to all of you who help us with right choices. The owner help me with grappa. (the variety is huge).Trying the different types of grappa I was able to pick the best one for me. Highly recommended. Also the wines selection is exelent. There's even one person dedicated to barrolo. And finally you can find there many italian product like risotto and so on. One stop shoping for everything.

An amazing shop with a diverse collection of wines.

After we announced that we plan to buy 10 bottles of different wines, we were given so many glasses to try the beverages that I actually got tipsy at that stage. All the wines were dope.

The assistant was super friendly and honest. Occasionally recommending us NOT to buy specific wines because there were cheaper alternatives that were not distinguishable for a regular folk.

Also they packed stuff really well with a technique I have never seen before - putting plastic bags into boxes while exposing the bag handles.

Definitely coming again.

Wow! This shop is a dream for anyone who loves Italian foodstuff. The family of staff were fantastic, giving samples of different stock, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, wine etc. Things are not the cheapest and prices vary but the quality is superior to anything I've had before. They have a great variety of wines and limoncello which come in all shapes and sizes. There's something for everyone. Loved our visit. Can't wait to return

The wine store of my dreams! I have been to many a wine store, but never one like this. Family-run with each member of the family giving their own vast knowledge and nuances to provide amazing service. An amazing collection of wines - both old and newer vintages. Great wines at every price point, the owners respectfully give advice for quality rather than price. One can learn an amazing amount from about Nebbiolo and the regions of Barolo, as well as about small and unknown producers from all over Italy. Each member of the family is amazingly knowledgeable and gives their own insight into the wines they love. An amazingly warm atmosphere, they have the astounding ability to get ones palate after only a short time. Highly, highly recommend to skip buying wine anywhere, but here. A gem and a jewel. I will return again and again!

I placed an order with La Cambusa Wine Shop Stresa
and the service I have received has been excellent. Saw a bottle I was interested in, went on their website. Very easy to use and paid with PayPal (Sunday 6th June). The next day I received an email from both La Cambusa telling me it had been dispatched and giving me the tracking number (Monday 7th June). The bottle arrived today Thursday 10th June) very well packaged and in perfect condition. I also ordered a bottle from inside the United Kingdom and haven't received that yet. Many Thanks to all at La Cambusa for providing a first class service where everything has just gone perfectly. I would recommend La Cambusa to anyone and will be definitely be buying from again.

We searched high and low during our recent trip throughout Milan and Lake Maggiore area for a Pistachio liqueur that we had brought home years ago from a trip to Rome. Upon entering the beautiful quaint area of Stresa, we saw a store that carried not only all the flavored liqueurs, but a vast assortment of wines, Prosecco, olive oils, balsamic vinegars, pasta, spices and more. The owners (mother and son) were so accommodating and packaged a case of wines and liqueurs to be shipped back to the States for us. When our additional travel friends came in shortly behind us, they were also treated wonderfully. The owner gave me his card and said anytime I need more shipped home to give him a call. The wines were wonderful; they arrived within a week of our return home. We are almost out and I'll be calling him soon for more! Highly recommend a visit here while in Stresa. It's a beautiful area and the shop owners couldn't be more helpful in choosing the perfect gifts and wines to bring home to remember your visit. ❤

Enjoyed a fabulous wine and herb tasting with the most beautiful and knowledgeable hostess. This was two months ago and I am posting this review tonight as I order more herbs. Use for many dishes but tonight mixed in the flour for chicken piccata.
Thank you staff of La Cambusa.

The finest wine store in town. If you can't find it(Italian wine) here, it dosen't exist. Just walking through the store is an education.
