Iberostar Cozumel

The experience was amazing! Beautiful resort, great access to diving the reef (they do lessons too). The pool was great, the beach while not super great for swimming right from the shore was still beautiful and you could swim off of the dock. The staff was excellent, courteous, and friendly. The entertainment team really kept the party going, especially Daniella and Elizabeth! Delicious food and drinks all day. The wildlife around the resort is so fun to watch!

Been here twice for a week each for dive trip with Dresser Di ers and the resort and diving was exceptional. The food was outstanding, good quality and very good selection each day. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, no problems either time staying here. The resort has convenient water bottle fill Station scattered about the grounds and you room contains two large glass water bottles for your use. You sign out your beach towel near the pool. The grounds are beautiful and its like being in a tropical oasis. There are lots of free roaming wildlife around. Snorkeling from shore is very good but wear water shoes if not fins as the bottom is a little rocky getting in unless you go out to the stairs halfway down the pier. The staff at this resort go above and beyond and most truly lo e the guests and treat them so, you can tell as most guests ha e been to this resort for +10 to +20 years.

I suggest you just go here, don't worry about things and you will in most cases love it like most do and will want to return again and again.

Had a great couples vacation here with a lot of drinking and diving haha. The rooms are definitely a little small but fine for 2 adults. Food and drinks were all good, service was great. I really liked the little water fill stations throughout the resort, and the wildlife everywhere you look. There's great reef nearby for diving, but that means the beach is rocky. There was access to ocean swimming half way down the pier.

Reception was great. Rooms are excellent. Beach and pools are phenomenal. Manolo at the gym helped me with stretching and exercises to help with my broken back!! He was awesome. Daniella and Elizabeth were great at activities. Ana is a great server. Music at poolside all the time would be nice. It might help to get more participation at activities if they were announced 20 min prior to event with location or guide. Food was excellent with a huge variety in 5 different dining locations. A lot of divers come here.

Just returned from a 7 day stay. Loved this resort. relatively small and easy to walk anywhere on the property in just a few minutes. Rooms were clean, nice bathroom/showers. Food at Buffet and restaurants all very good, tons of selections. Roger in the buffets was one of our favorites, made special events of our birthdays and anniversaries, always making sure we were being taken care of. Grounds were beautiful and meticulously maintained. Loved the flamingos, peacocks, macaws and parakeets.

We had a fantastic time at the resort. The staff was super friendly and helpful and took really good care of us. Shout out to Daniela and Elizabeth from the entertainment team who kept the party going and made the games exciting! Make sure you say hi to Pepe in the lobby! Careful…he may be napping

This is our second trip to Iberostar Cozumel. The first time we traveled as a couple and we loved the laid back vibe of the resort and the amazing snorkeling the island has to offer. This year, we returned with our family, including parents, siblings, their families, and our two kids. The main reason I am writing this review is to give props to the amazing kids club experience. We weren’t expecting to use “Star Camp,” but our extroverted 5.5 year old thought it looked fun and wanted to try some activities. By the end of the week, that was the highlight of her trip. She and three other cousins had the best time. The activities are thoughtful and intentional (and fun!!) and it didn’t feel at all like they were being babysat but doing guided adventures. I felt very comfortable leaving my daughter there. The three staff members that ran the kids camp were approachable, kind, and really invested in our kids. Special shout out to Sol, Ismael, and Rosa. They were incredible and made our kids’ week extra special.

Our group just returned from our 2nd trip to the Iberostar Cozumel. The staff, especially Ana and Elizabeth, made our stay most enjoyable. Ana and Elizabeth went out of their way to be helpful and extend a friendly greeting every day. Ana's drink service to our group was outstanding! Omelet stations, fresh fruit, chocolate croissant, juice of the day, espressos in the lobby bar are just a few of my favorites. The rooms are quiet, comfy bed, perfect AC, lots of pillows, room refrigerator restocked every day. The pathways between your room to beach and pool are surrounded by lush greenery, flowers, palm trees, the occasional iguana, birds, and of course the flamingos are vibrant and fun to see also. We had a fabulous trip!

We love Iberostar! Manolo was our daily fitness instructor and even took his time to produce personalized programs for me. Incredible! Cesar was very hospitable at the desk and the site was very nice. Jonatan, one our waiters for the week always smiled and was very kind. The food was better than we have experienced at other resorts. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend! 👍👍

First of all, the daily entertainers Fabian, Daniela, and Elizabeth are the best workers! They get the people going every day! We loved the food every meal, just needed to figure out what was available. The rooms were cleaned very nicely everyday and we loved the shower.

This is a great resort with friendly staff and good amenities. Tons of wildlife to enjoy and the layout of the building make you feel like you are in the wilderness. We enjoyed the family friendly atmosphere and the beaches.

Issue Update: After emailing both the W2M Company and Iberostar, I was reimbursed for the extra fee. Previous issue to watch for: Posting this as a buyer be ware for Shuttle Service. When booking a shuttle service in advance Iberostar recommend W2M (World 2 Meet) for shuttle transfers to and from Cozumel Airport. We booked what we thought was a private shuttle for $374/ round trip (6 people) in advance. It turns out W2M simply gives you a voucher for a round trip taxi. We spoke with the bell hop at the hotel and they had taxi shuttles readily available for $120 / round trip or $60 each way. We wasted $254 booking in advance with W2M.

This resort is nothing short of beautiful. Upon entering staff members open your car door to welcome you to this jungle oasis. Everyone was extremely welcoming and helpful. The resort entrance was a relaxing and peaceful transition into the flamingo enclosure, then a short walk to the pool and beach area. Once at the beach we were greeted by Elizabeth and Fabian who asked if we’d like to play beach beer pong. Their energy was unmatched and truly elevated our experience. A beautiful resort would be nothing without the people who bring life to it. We are considering a trip back here just to enjoy this resort again.

I have participated in several fitness classes with Manolo and plan to do more for the rest of my trip! Each class is very fun and well thought out. I highly recommend doing his classes.

We also did participated in a lot of activities and had so much fun. Roclo, Fabian, Elizabeth, Daniela and Rosita were the best and we had a blast.

It's a relatively small all-inclusive resort which is supposedly at the lower end of the Iberostar property spectrum. If this is supposed to the lower end - I can hardly imagine what their other resorts offer. Wonderful natural settings - with free roaming peacocks - amazing service - and good food. The food was on par with a good cruise ship - but I'd hold back on a superlative adjective on that front. The beach is a bit rocky - so they have a ladder going down from the pier into the clear blue water that almost feels like a pool when it's calm. They have nightly entertainment too. In my opinion, 3-4 days would be an ideal stay here.

snorkelling from the pier but very little fish here. But a trip with dressel dive centre to the reef is worth it .
Special mention to our concierge Natalia for any help we needed during our stay.

The buffet meals had plenty of choice.
We gather the diving is amazing!!
Useful info, Cozumel has an airport that’s easy access from America.

Just back from an absolutely perfect vacation at Iberostar Cozumel. Our family of 5 will be returning for sure as this vacation was outstandingly beautiful and ideal. My husband and oldest son loved the diving club on property and had fabulous dives nearly every day. My two youngest, aged 9 and 12 absolutely fell in love with the three fabulous people who run the kids Star Club. They experiences archery, crafts, Mexican Bingo games and being taught by at the restaurant, how to make their own pizza at mini chef morning. They spent a lot of time with us but were always checking the Star Club schedule daily to see what was going on that they wanted to participate in. Ismael, Rosa and Sol, thank you SO MUCH for making their trip even more special. You are absolute gems!!!!
The food and ocean also at this resort are nothing short of heaven. Swimming with all the fish and snorkeling off the dock was so lovely. The food was delicious and so many options daily that were healthy and we all felt great the whole time.

Elizabeth, Daniella, Rocio and Fabian were wonderful. The activities were great! We loved Cindy in the buffet restaurant. She always had our lattes ready first thing in the morning!

This is a wonderful place. Our family of 12 loved everything about this place. The workers are fantastic. The food is great, so much to chose from, so many options with multiple restaurants. The pool had free scuba, the ocean was great, the staff kept us entertained with games, contests and shows. Wonderful singers and dancers entertained us. The pink flamingoes, the peacocks, and other wildlife were an added plus for us coming from the cold winter of Wisconsin.

Had a great 10 days here at the Iberostar resort. Whilst I came for the beach and snorkelling I loved all the fitness classes with Manola and I finally tried Yoga 😀. He was a good teacher I felt challenged but very comfortable. 🧘‍♀

Fabian, Daniela, and Elizabeth were great entertainers with very fun personalities! They helped make this week more enjoyable! They all were very good at remembering our names as we kept seeing them throughout our vacation.
