Staff were awesome. Food was really good. It's approximately $26 per person to enter the facility. You get a chair for each person right on the ocean.

This is my third visit to Palancar in the past year. The beach is just beautiful. Crystal clear waters, very few tourists, no loud music, no beach toys just relaxation. If and when you visit ask for ILARIO, the best waiter at Palancar. I hope this place remains the best kept secret in Cozumel because it is(how ironic, since I am telling the world to visit it, lol)

Had such a great time here with my four friends and I. The guy providing us service was amazing and super friendly. The seafood tacos were delicious and it was very very tranquil being here. You do have to prove you spent a certain amount of money to enjoy the facilities but it wasn’t hard nor on the entrees side. Not too crowded which we appreciated.

This is definitely a must visit when in Cozumel if you're looking for a beautiful beach club with great food and amazing facilities. Hreqt secluded place with cristal clear water looks like a swimming pool. Great drinks and excellent customer service. Make sure to order a parrillada that comes with fried calamari, fish, lobster, Octopus and even French fries. OMG is soo good. Can't wait to visit them again. Definitely 💯 recommend

This was an unplanned last minute stop and turned out to be the best time ever. For $10 got 2 chairs on the beach with wonderful views of the water and activities. I liked that they had music but it was not overwhelming. We ordered drinks and then food. Both were amazing. All items are reasonably priced. We were the first to arrive when they opened and only left around 4 due to the rain. Our server Antonio was excellent. He checked on us frequently but never pushing more food or drinks. This was a wonderful day and one I am so glad we stopped at. We can’t wait to come back again. I highly recommend this place.

We had an amazing day at playa Palancar. There were at least 4 ships in port with a bit of rain in the AM. We took a cab to this location but the cab driver kept trying to talk us out of it and instead to hire him for the day or go to other beaches and ride around. We had to keep saying no. The staff tell us they get better kick backs at other locations.

We got there in the morning and had the place almost to ourselves. It was fantastic. My wife, 3 kids (8, 6, and 4), and I loved the beach. We did get two chairs and an umbrella to keep things dry from the quick rain showers that passed through in the AM. The Raccoons were so adorable and were the highlight of the day for my son who loves raccoons. The beach was soft white sand with areas where lots of shells and other items washed up. My kids loved sifting through all the items to find things. The beach was waist deep out quite a ways with lots of small fish, great for the kids and ourselves to float around in.

The food was great, loved the tacos. The kids thought the fruit plate was amazing and it was all quite good. The margaritas were also very good, we got a few. Prices were reasonable and the facilities were solid. Staff didn't bother us, and considering we were the only ones there for an hour or two, and only maybe 20 people there max all day, I was surprised. Our waiter stopped by regularly but not too often, actually just about the right intervals.

Would come again. The staff are professional and friendly. Everything is clean. Raccoons are friendly as well. Drinks seemed watered down a bit but we forgot about it in the waves... The food was nothing special but not bad at all. Still, food is not the reason we came here - the sea and the beach is beautiful. A nice place to spend a day.

Friendly place and nice beach. The fish was great. We ordered hamburgers for the kids and they ran out of hamburger buns so we had "Mexican Hamburgers" with sandwich bread. Augusto was great though and gave us a free margarita.

Loved our time at Playa Palancar. The entire family enjoyed ourselves in the water and looking at the beautiful view of the ocean. We came here to spend a few hours at the beach while our ship stopped at the port. The staff was friendly and the guacamole was delish! The spicy sauce that came with it, was perfection. 10/10 would recommend!

This was an excursion for us while on a cruise. We took a taxi to this beach club. It was free to enter with a minimum of a $10 purchase which was easy to do. We rented an umbrella and chairs on the beach for $10. The beach was beautiful and clean. We had a dedicated server and he was very attentive and kind. We had chicken tacos and guacamole which was so good. The menu has the price in pesos and US dollars which was helpful. A group of us went on a snorkeling trip from this beach club for $35 each and it was well worth it! I definitely recommend stopping here.

My gf and I ended up stopping by here thinking it was a beach, and then seeing it was a beach club and not expensive we decided to stay to drink water and ended up getting a table with the club sandwich (super good!) and the mango spicy frozen margarita (which was 10/10 would recommend) and not too many people at the beach. Would recommend the beach club and the beach location to anyone. My gf and I plan to come back here again for vacation.

Palancar Beach is about 20 minutes from ship port. You drive through this dirt road after getting off the main road. There are two places /restaurants to chose from. We didn't like the one on the left because you had to pay for everything separately like the chairs, the umbrellas, the snorkel gear, the food, the drinks and so on. We walked over to the one on the right about 200 feet. All included for $60 even alcohol but there was a limit of 3 meals. They had a massage cabana that was a separate charge but it was not expensive. The service, the food and the drinks were great and delicious. I will definitely go back. The beach is gorgeous, you can be in the warm water for hours. It's a perfect place to relax, have fun.

First visited in 2003 and fell in love with this place! It is our destination whenever we cruise there, 8 times now over the years. Just get a taxi at the cruise terminal and get down there! Our last visit was in January and once again, perfect! Food is always good, fish tacos are excellent! We missed the Cerveza Sol, they did not have any - apparently there were supply chain issues. We made it OK with Victoria and Modelo though. The beach is always clean and well kept. We were treated that day with a band that showed up and played on the beach! Augusto is the best, but all the servers and staff are great. Booking another cruise soon, we will see you then!

Today might be our third day to visit from Playa Del Carmen and it’s worth it! Ride the ferry over, $25/per person round trip tickets, take a taxi to this spot//300 pesos one way or $20USD. Once you arrive enjoy the Fish Tacos on corn tortillas or flour, They’re Good, the $10/day charge for the Beachfront Umbrella and Chairs is worth it but it is first one first go type service/no reservations. The service is prompt, top notch and worth every minute and peso you spend there!

You need to come here. Very clear water and nice clean beach, food, drinks and service are just great. I only learned of this place passing by from a scuba trip and had to come see it first hand. This will be on my list to visit every time I'm here.

We have been there on a Mexican Holiday when like many other places were closed. We found it almost accidentally and loved it. The beach club is just so nice and beautiful. The beach itself is clean und very beautiful. The employees are all super friendly and outgoing. We went the with almost no Cash and still got a little tour ::) ¡bring CASH - they don’t take any cards! On our snorkeling tour we’ve seen some very beautiful underwater life! i don’t know how to thank them more for taking us!!! I recommend this beach club to everyone :) we had fun this day!! Thank you

20 minute cab ride from Cozumel cruise port. Amazing beach that is not overcrowded with cruise ship tourists. Great restaurant, clean, perfect sand. Totally worth skipping the excursions and taking a $30-50 cab ride for the day!!!

Is this place for real?!
We drove around to several different beach clubs before settling on this one. The food and drinks were reasonably priced, the beach was gorgeous. There were tons of people but not too crowded. AND, more importantly, we were completely surrounded by amazing wild animals that were literally walking at our feet and hanging out near our tables. It was so entertaining and exciting. I had never experienced something like this and will continue to tell people about this place for a long time.
Rent a kayak and float around. Or go out to the open ocean on one of the many boat rentals and snorkel near the coral reef.
This place is super cool.

Busy due to many ships arriving that day. Food was fresh and tasty. Service was also very good. Not really a place to snorkel, but is a nice place to swim and relax. No entry fee, but tip the people when parking.
