Chankanaab Beach Adventure Park

My husband and I enjoyed this all inclusive ship excursion. We literally packed our things for the day and enjoyed hours of entertainment.

The sea lion show is such a joy. It's quite entertaining and a great show for all ages. We also enjoyed a tequila tasting while we were there. And they know how much you can take back so no need to be worried.

Lastly, the beach is nice and the light lunch was good. Overall, we had a great time.

Very nice park with awesome staff that go above and beyond to make your time unforgettable. Our dolphin trainer Irene was great and really spent time with our group sharing memorable moments with the dolphins. One last thing... we loved Hestia our dolphin friend so much!!

I loved this place. My family was on the Wonder of the Seas and my brother in law made reservations for the beach part of the park. It was a $20 (USD) cab ride to the park. We had a big part of 13 so he got 2 beach cabanas. The snorkeling was beautiful there is a lifeguard on duty and there was snorkeling gear fins and life jackets if you have small kids or need one for yourself. There were hammock as well set up for your use. The kids (3-7 yrs of age) loved the hammocks. It reminded me a lot of Hawaii, where I lived for almost 20 years. I highly recommend this place if you want to get away from tourist side of the island.

This place, wow... really great time. Dolphin Discovery, Royal Experience,... blast. We were blessed with surfing on dolphin noses! We were worried about the care that these dolphins receive, but after reviewing it and seeing everything in-person, at least our trainer really seemed to care for these animals. Plus, we got to be in close with the manatees with that package. Photos were extra, of course, but worth every dime. Our transportation was quick and reasonably priced. Bring cash for tips. Would definitely recommend!

This place was amazing. I highly recommend going there and spending an afternoon. Swimming with a dolphins, manatees, and sea lines is an experience. Most people never get. And with a few restaurants and other activities, you can’t go wrong.

I spent about 3 hours here as part of a shore excursion. I thought the staff and facilities were excellent. It is a very family friendly place with toys for the young kids and a bouncy house. The food was a buffet or you could order separately off a menu. There were plenty of options to eat and drink; again kid and family friendly.

The water is very low, about knee high on an adult. You can walk quite a way out before it gets significantly deeper.

The location is about a 50 minute drive from the port, which is not ideal.

My complaint is that there is a ton of algae. The staff tries, but keeping it cleaned up is impossible, probably due to the lower water level. The water is not very clear due to the low level as well. However, we had a great time regardless and there are clean areas for the kids to play and dig.

I think it is worth the time to visit.

This is by far my favorite beach to visit in Cozumel. I love the variety of attractions at the park, but also the beautifully kept beach and water access, the wait staff to bring you food and refreshments, and the abundance of seating and umbrellas etc. Prices for refreshments are reasonable, but for US visitors, the prices are in Mexican Pesos, so be sure to download an app on your phone or convert your pricing so you know what you're spending. This is a great place to spend a day if you're not sure what to do since there is truly something for everyone here.

Visited while on a cruise with my family. It was a bit crowded but not terrible. Access to the water was sufficient for the crowd, and service for drinks and food was excellent. There were ample chairs and chaise lounges for the large crowd

Beautiful, long white sand beach.
Wish I had the time to swim with the dolphins or see the sea lion exhibit. It is a Mexican wildlife preserve, so the gardens and fauna is lush and green.

The snorkeling was nice, but not as much wildlife in the water as I am accustomed to seeing while suba diving.

A lunch and open bar were included, although the lunch buffet was minimal.

All in all, a worthwhile venue and experience.

Absolutely amazing experience. I 100% recommend the Dolphin or Manatee experiences. We got there way earlier than expected and had to wait to get in. June was the perfect time of year because the weather was mild and there wasn't an overwhelming crowd. The beaches were beautiful and the food was fantastic. Be sure you have exact change for the taxi to and from the port. They provide life jackets, and be sure you keep track of your locker key if you get one. They can fall out of your pocket or slide off your neck while you're swimming. I'd do this again in a heartbeat.

What a beautiful park to experience with its all in one place to swim with dolphins, lounge on the beach, snorkel, and enjoy a delicious meal. Come hungry, thirsty, and have good footwear.

I stopped in a cruise and it was one of the best experiences ever. I even went scuba diving for the first time in my life and the price was really cheap. The instructor was very professional!

Great place, great service, restaurants, souvenirs, snorkeling, dolphins. 6 minutes taxi from cruise ship port. Highly recommended.

Amazing day !!! Beautiful property; great service; nice shops . . . wonderful place to spend a day !!! Lockers available . . . and options to swim with manatees or dolphins.

This is a great little all inclusive beach getaway! Our waiter kept the drinks flowing, we never had an empty cup and the all you could eat buffet was good too. They had plenty of food available. We did the snorkeling also and it was super easy and fun! You don’t have to be able to swim to snorkel. They give you life vests that keeps you afloat! We saw colorful fish and a couple of small stingrays. Well worth it!

Boy did i enjoy it here. From the dolphins, to the sculptures, to the beach , to the waters, to the food, to the adventure park it self was amazing. I loved it here!

This location is beautiful! The only thing to note is that 98% of the beach isn't into the water- it's a rocky drop-off like for snorkeling entry.

Staff were all friendly, helpful. Smiling. The businesses on the beach were also super helpful and eager to serve. Beach area away from coral was very nice and relaxing. Lots of small shops around.

Beautiful park, many activities to do, walk through the tropical garden and Mayan ruins, tequila tasting, excellent service. Snorkeling, you can rent the gear or bring yours, we had a guide to take us to watch the statues under the sea, amazing! Enjoy good variety of food and cocktails, there is a Pool, Dolphins, the Sea Lion show area was under construction, so no show this time. There are plenty of gift shops. Staff are so attentive and friendly. Look forward to come back soon to enjoy this park again.

The best all-around experience in Cozumel! Food drink, sea lion shows, dolphin swims, replica Mayan buildings, botanical gardens, tequila tasting, and the most beautiful, crystal clear water I have ever seen.
