Deep Blue

Arrived in the morning and they kindly organise a private boat for the afternoon. Office staff were incredible, the boat captain who is also a Dive Master Bingo was excellent ans Cabelle our Dive Master was laid back and professional. Highly recommend Deep Blue and the incredible crew.

Booked with this outfit based on Lonely Planet's recommendation and am so glad we did. The service was exceptional and the experience was better than expected. The guide, Geraldo, and Captain Carlos were very patient and gentle with our kids. Our family snorkeled and there was a group of divers in the boat as well. We visited three world-class reefs and our guide knew how to locate and identify everything on one's bucket list for this adventure. I highly recommend

Had a great dive this week with my brother and son. Pascal took us to the wall and a reef and it was very beautiful. Deep blue worked with us on our cruise ship arrival, understood our rookie diving issues and helped out the whole time. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks a ton guys.

This was one of the best dives we've ever done. This company was great. They supplied some fresh fruit as a snack afterwards, mangoes and pineapple, along with water and some type of punch. It was the three in our family and three other people so a nice small group. my daughter decided to have a private guide underwater for the scuba diving. Hearst private guides name was Batman. He was amazing. The one thing I will say is depending on which port your ship comes in if you were on a cruise ship like we were depends on whether you even need a taxi to get to them. We happen to be at the close report, but didn't realize it because we didn't bother googling directions. They were literally like four blocks from the ship port for Norwegian, but there is another port further down. That might be a 10 minute drive. They're located right downtown near a lot of coffee, shops, and restaurants. Great walking.

My best friend and I had the best diving experience of our lives with Deep Blue! It was the first time for my best friend and I hand't been diving for a while but the professionalism of the team, and of our dive master Julio, made it a very relaxed experience, one we were able to fully enjoy!! We saw so many fish and turtles, the water was so clear and Julio such a lovely human being!! I would highly recommend it and I hope to be back soon!!!

Amazing experience!! Best dives in Cozumel. Diego was a great dive master, very detailed when comes to safety, great energy and above all extremely professional. He also took some very cool photos under the water.
It’s been some years since the last time I dived and he was very good by bringing me the confidence I needed.
The gear was in perfect conditions.
I will come back for sure and will always dive with Deep Blue.

On a quiet Easter day they took our family of four snorkeling. They were very nice and patient with our kids. Both are great swimmers but tired early and the guide was nice to take them to the boat so they could rest while the rest of us kept exploring. The masks we used were not a perfect fit for us and we should have spent more time at the shop during fitting. Luckily we had our own masks with built in purge valves. We look forward to returning.

Deep Blue - They actually certified my boys in 2018. Now we have been back a couple time to dive with them. They always have the best instructors! This time was some serious drift diving at about four knots! But we still saw sharks, turtles, rays and more!

We had a great diving experience from start to finish. The owners and staff are wonderful and friendly people. Safety is a big thing with this company. They never have more than 4 people to a guide. We dove on multiple different days, both ocean and cenote. On one of our ocean dives we saw a dolphin, eagle rays and sea turtles. Also the gear is in excellent conditions and boats are good. Nice and enjoyable refreshments between dives. Sergio and Nono our guides were amazing!!!

We had an incredible time diving with this company. We are absolute beginners and felt very safe at all times with our dive master. The underwater experience was incredible: Several turtles, star fish, ray and many many fish and corals. 100% recommendation!

12-21-2023 buddy dive with a guy I met on the way to the shop. he had reservation and they were kind enough to make room for me. I got recertified 2 days earlier from Alux Divers, this was my 3rd port of call so I was still a little nervous, I hadent dove in 20 yrs.
The receptionist was so kind and helped me through everything. my 1st dive was @ Palancar Gardens. The boat ride was nice and only 5 of us, 2 professionals dove on their own and a young, my buddy and I with the dive Master she was German and very kind, she put up with a lot from me, I was the worst at buoyancy. my buddy has dove for most his life and the girl had about 12 dives under her belt and was really good.
2nd dive was Yucab Reef , it was so beautiful down there went through an open ended tiny cave looking reef. My DM was always keeping an eye on me and helping me get down to their level, lol.
did 60 ' both dives, both about 40 min in to out.

They do except tips and they deserve it, the boat Captain as well so bring some cash to be kind.

Deep Blue is one of my favorite dive shops I’ve ever dove with! From the dive masters to the sales staff, everyone is super friendly. I did 10 dives here in Cozumel with them and we did a huge variety of dives including morning dives, night dives, and late evening dives. My guides were Aristeo, Gigi, and Pasquale. All very knowledgeable of the local waters and safe. I had my own gear but their rental gear was high quality and in good shape. Small, fast dive boats with small groups. What more can you ask for?

The captains were amazing as well. Carlos was very friendly and remembered which dives i did with them so we didn’t do the same ones over and over again.

My last day of diving (before i was headed to Playa Del Carmen), I left my hat on the boat. Gigi arranged for someone to deliver it to me in Playa a couple days later! Amazing service!!!!

Lastly, when speaking to the people in my hostel in Playa, i also paid less than anyone else diving there! Some shops were charging $120+ for two tank dives…. Much cheaper here without sacrificing service or safety.

Will be diving with them next time I’m in Cozumel!!

Deep Blue was very accommodating to our group of friends from Toronto who were all diving at difference levels of experience. We were given lots of detailed, custom, clear information via email (before we travelled to Cozumel). Everyone at the shop was very nice and answered all our questions when we arrived.

SANDRO (aka Batman) IS AN AMAZING DIVEMASTER!!! I’m a brand new diver and I would highly recommend that you dive with him. He takes great care of his divers.

I did 9 dives with Deep Blue this week (including my open water certification with Sandro). He made me feel so safe and so comfortable during my course dives that I wanted to dive with him for the rest of the week.

Sandro has been diving for his entire life in Mexico — his passion and skills show. He takes diving and safety precautions very seriously, but he also knows how to have fun!

We went to a different dive site for every dive and we saw many nurse sharks, spotted eagle rays, sting rays, angel fish, eels, sea turtles, and lots more!

Thank you to Deep Blue! And a HUGE THANK YOU to SANDRO for teaching me how to dive, for showing me Cozumel’s beautiful marine life, and for setting me up to be a strong and relaxed diver.

The staff in the shop and the guides and instructor for the dive are very nice and competent. My partner did a beginner dive in the Palancar reef and it was the best experience of his life. The equipment was good and they had fruits and granola bar on the boat

Fantastic dive shop! My two friends did their PADI open water certs and I had my PADI so did 4 dives - amazing walls, drift dives, phenomenal tour of the wreck.
Great kit, great service and great instructors. Felt safe at all times, every dive was incredible. They even helped me out by having a record of one of my dives so I was able to get my advanced PADI a little while later. 10/10 - thank you so much!

Had a great time with this dive shop. They leave right from the town center. The groups are small and they have their own boat. They handle almost all the gear set up and logistics are quick to jump in when you need help. Had 2 amazing days of diving despite the rainy weather.

This is the fourth time staying at Cozumel. At least 30 + dives at Cozumel. I got to say I have seeing more things on the last 8 dives with Deep Blue :). Great experience, good equipment, fast small boat, nice group of people . First two dives were ok, I guess they were observing the level of diving since I have open water certification. However next dives was paired with a great group of divers and enjoyed the rest of my exploration. Request ARISTEO, he is a top notch dive instructor, finds a lot of interesting marine life. Gary replied to all emails fast and was very attentive to all requests. Thank you for good memories !

Excellent staff and people to work with. Very close to the water. They keep groups very small so you get lot of attention and assistance. Very easy to work with and receptive to email promptly. Would recommend and certainly will dive with this group when we return to the area. Very good to use if coming to the area via cruise ship. We had no problems at all.

Had a great afternoon snorkelling on a private trip with Julio as our guide and Alejandro the skipper of the boat.

Julio was a very good guide, briefing us thoroughly about safety at the shop and once on board the boat. We borrowed flippers and masks and he took time at the dive shop to ensure all our equipment fitted correctly. They also had some prescription masks available to borrow - very handy for me as I’m shortsighted.

There was a range of experience on our trip and Julio made sure everyone felt safe in the boat and in the water. We did 4 sessions of snorkelling - we were only meant to have 3 but the current changed on the third trip so we came out while Alejandro and Julio found a better place on the reef for us to try again.

We saw loads of different fish and sea-life each time. Julio was very good at pointing out things to look for and making sure everyone got the chance to see them. It was also great to go out to the wall and see the drop off into the deep ocean - something a lot of other operators don’t do.

Overall we had a great experience with everyone involved. The staff in the shop were friendly and welcoming and there was excellent communication with them in arranging the trip. The dive shop is only a few blocks’ walk from the pedestrian ferry terminal. Transport by taxi or truck to and from the marina where we met Alejandro and the boat was included.

We would definitely dive or snorkel with Deep Blue again and would certainly recommend them if you’re planning a snorkelling or diving trip on Cozumel.

Had an amazing dive with Gigi & Deep Blue! Went with my 14 year old & his cousin (2nd dive) + brother in law & father. Gigi was wonderful! I’ve been on a handful of dives & this was the safest I ever felt. If I could give 10 stars I would! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
