The Coconut Shack

I've been going to Cozumel for 3 years this is by far the best place on the island! Drinks are fantastic,staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is beyond compare. I'm so glad we found it and would not want to be anywhere else. Love!

Best pina colada and mojito I have ever tasted by the young lady working here. Almost half price cocktails compared to everywhere else, strong too! Amazing coconuts! Great fruit with sweet n spicy sauce when we arrived. Loved the hammocks!! Some reviews are getting this place mixed up with Coconuts further north, I loved this place more my bf liked it more.

$10 Margaritas were good. Food was good too. Nice vibe and great view of the sea and surfing below. Note: CASH ONLY

If you are touring around Cozumel via Scooter or Jeep - The East side is AWESOME, spend a lot of your time on the eastside. A MUST STOP is The Coconut Shack - we call it the liquor box. Buy far best drinks I have ever had...Great little beach area...Great view of the ocean....Great music.....Great bar staff. Stop for sure - then leave a review, I would like to know if there are others out there that love this place as much as my wife and I do.

A local sent us here from playa palancar. She called it the welcome to Miami shack. Def have to get a mojito while your here! They have good margaritas too! They ground up the mint super fine with the molcajete. the drink is just refreshing and super tasty. They offer some food here if your hungry. They have totopos. They have hammocks!!!! To chill and relax on while you drink your alcoholic beverages. We had to wait for our drinks but they were busy when we arrived and they brought it out to the table after you order. This place is a little bar on the side of the road if your thirsty while traveling on vacation.

Nice Island vibe

Food was delicious but super pricey (camarones al mojo de diablo), the service was so so, we met a cute dog there. 3.50 for 12 ounces of coke.

Trap for tourists

If you want to leave your money for below average cocktails this is the place for you. If you wanna be treated as the walking ATMs again this is the place for you. If you don’t mind low quality service please come. Leave your money for the view and nothing else. If you like rude and cheeky waiters...please come by. This is like Potemkin’s village - all staged and fake.
They claim they have natural straws hahahaha this is a joke. Only natural thing there is a human greed

Huge disappointment. Below average and expensive cocktails (think 10 euros for a watered down drink) cocktails, not so nice waiters who are only interested in tips, they treat you like an ATM, not a human being🤔 Also, not authentic at all, way too commercial and geared towards Americans. The food was so bad people were leaving half of their food uneaten. But, gotta give them the lovely view though.
