Mojito Factory Welcome to Miami Cozumel

Really cool bar on the beach!! It was very chill and away from the craziness of the cruise scene. The mojito I had was very fresh and delicious! But the best part was the view of the beach!!! Not much area to stand by the water and the waves were too choppy to go in. Also got some fresh salsa and chips that were really tasty!
Drinks were 10 dollars a piece.

Best Mojito ever. The friendliest people and you can NOT beat that view. Make sure you use the restroom before you go because that’s the only think severely lacking there.

My group of four was there last week on a cruise visit. We rented a boogie from Amazing Jaguar Rentals just outside of the port and went exploring. We were enjoying our drive, and then the vegetation cleared on our right, and there was the beautiful ocean, and there was this place. Of course we stopped. At first, I thought it was just a place to get a drink, then I noticed they had food. I asked the guy what sort of food he had. He asked if I liked seafood soup. I was picturing something like clam chowder, which I do not like. He offered me a small sample. It was more like thin chili with seafood in it. It was excellent. I ordered a bowl of seafood soup and shrimp tacos. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered a mojito to go with the food and relaxed in the shade and enjoyed a fantastic meal, watching the waves crash on the beach. My wife enjoyed one of the hammocks and a moment to get out of the sun. The beach here is excellent, with some smooth sandy space, framed by big rocks on each side, and the waves crash against them, sending spray into the air.
A very simple, very laid back, very awesome place.
We had been to Cozumel twice previously and wasn't super excited to go back for a third time.
After finding this gem, we will certainly be back.

Our group of 7 hired a taxi driver for the day to take us around to the far side of the island. We told him we wanted to stop at the local, laid back places along the way - this was the BEST stop!!

We had awesome mojitos ($8), fresh made chips/salsa, and spent some time just soaking up the peace listening to the ocean waves!

We already planned our day, and wanted to go all the way around the island loop, but we would love to go back and just stay at Bar Miami all day!!

Edited to add: I returned to Bar Miami the end of September for my second visit. I still rate it 5 stars! The mojitos were just as good as the first time, and the atmosphere was just as relaxing! I plan to return to Bar Miami every time I visit the island of Cozumel!

Welcome to Miami is off the beaten path, and we like it that way. It's a great place to stop and have drinks, chips, and salsa. Relax, soak up the sounds and view of the sea, and enjoy island time. The blood orange margaritas are delicious and made with fresh fruit juice. Wiggle your toes in the sand, grab a hammock, and relish the breeze.

Man, I could sit here for hours watching the waves roll in. The bar faces the roadway and once you have your drink in hand, you can walk behind the bar and they have covered seating with a spectacular view of the water. Usually, there's no need to get back up because they'll make the rounds and bring you another drink. Don't miss out on a mojito from Welcome to Miami next time you're in Cozumel.

This is absolutely the best spot to grab a MOJITO. It is hands down the best Mojito I had on this trip. Plus, you get a beautiful and relaxing view.

A friend here on the island took my wife, kids, & I here for an afternoon. It was very nice. The views are GREAT! The service is good. Our waiter was very attentive and quite helpful. And everything was very reasonably priced. We really enjoyed our time here. If you want to go to Bar Miami, I would highly recommend taking a trip to the east side of the island.

A bit far to reach (1h with a scooter from centre) but such a nice location directly at the beach and and they serve the best mojitos - would 100% recommend

The best fresh Mojito‘s anywhere. Everything is made right in front of you. Fresh mint and it’s ground in a large mortar. Fun service and a view of the beach and ocean. Can also go skinny-dipping. Fresh seafood and Laid-back atmosphere

This is such a cool place. It’s on the opposite side of the island as most of the hubbub. We were recommended the coconut drinks here. They actually have a full bar and make everything right in front of you. They still use mocajete to make the drinks. We just got a coconut water fresh from the coconut with some lime and young coconut. Absolutely delicious.

The beach is beautiful. They also offer food here although we did not try it. I still highly recommend stopping by here if you’re on the island.

Miami Cozumel Bar is a seaside haven! The staff are friendly and accommodating, special thanks to Jorge for taking such good care of us! Nice relaxing place to listen to the waves crashing while drinking your Coco Loco, or Coco no Loco.

I fell in love at first site... just a very quaint place, we were doing a jeep tour and stopped here to have lunch. Their fish tacos were amazing, so fresh. They had fresh pico de gallo with fresh home made nachos. It was like nothing I ever tasted. I had a margarita to drink and it was amazing, they didn't skimp on the tequila either. But the place as a whole is a vibe. My husband had the steak tacos, he said they were cooked and seasoned to perfection, he had a mojito and he loved it.

I’m well-traveled and have the good fortune to dine at some of the best eateries in the World . . . But nothing has come close to the incredible fresh margaritas and ASTOUNDING Seafood Soup (Caldo de Mariscos) found at tiny Bar Miami! It is part ambience (rustic dining with only a couple of tables on the sand as Caribbean waves roll in) and ALL flavor freshness filling a bowl with well-spiced, local seafood goodness. The rich, red broth provides a satisfying base to showcase fresh treasures of the sea as locally available each day – Our visit included a hearty mix (and helping) of crab, lobster, fish, shrimp, and likely a few other things not immediately identifiable. Bar Miami is located on the southern tip of Cozumel (about 26 km/16 miles) from the cruise ports and well-worth a taxi ride to enjoy a food & drink sensation that will stay with you long after other details of the cruise adventure is forgotten! (Cash only, this isn’t tourist town.)

Fun little bar with the best mojito crafted with utmost care. Nice view as you sip on the drink and enjoy some chips and pico de Gallo... definitely worth a stop, a ways from downtown, but the friendly, welcoming staff will take good care of you! And that mojito....WOW!

If you only have time for one stop on Cozumel, make it Bar Miami.

We had no idea that we’d be getting the best mojitos of our lives. I still dream about it. The shrimp tacos were incredible.

Grab yourself a seaside hammock, and forget about everything else.

Heard this was a must stop, and so glad we did. The atmosphere alone is worth the stop, but the mojito will make you stay. The mojito is their specialty and they make it in house fresh. I had a chalada and it was one of the best I’ve had. Friendly staff who even came and sang for us. Great service and all for a reasonable price. A must stop anytime your in the area.

They acclaim to have the best mojito and great Margaritas. We were not let down. 2 drinks $16. Free chips and Pico. You have to understand where you are eating or drinking. It's like a shack but worth the experience. They muddle their ingredients in a mortar. All juices are freshly squeezed for each drink.

Best and fresh mojitos I have ever had. They are made right in front of you. The locals who are making the drinks are truly wonderful and happy people. We came her almost everyday! Make sure to only bring cash to the side of the island
