HTL RENTALS scooter Buggy & jeeps rentals

I can attest to the positive ratings and recently rented a buggy from them. Just beware of inspecting/documenting vehicle condition, blemishes, and returning with same level of fuel. These are common sense actions and I recommend them for their great service, communication, and business.

HTL was recommended by some friends who live in Playa Del Carmen. Went over to the island on February 21/24. It was quick and easy to rent a buggy(lucked out as we got the last Nissan buggy available that day, however we arrived just after lunch around 1300h that day) The prices are reasonable! The people here were very friendly and courteous. They do have a kiosk at the Cozumel ferry terminal as well as a location just a few blocks away from the terminal. Will definitely rent from them again next time I’m on the island

We had a great experience renting a jeep for a day in Cozumel. Juan dropped off and picked up the car at our hotel (no extra cost!). The price to rent the jeep was very reasonable at $55 including tax and insurance. I would highly recommend using HTL rentals!

Took a taxi from the cruise terminal to get here. Omar was helpful in getting us set up and explaining the easiest way to get around the island and finding the best gas stations to fuel up. We had so much fun travelling around the island in our Jeep! Would absolutely rent from HTL again.

Our overall experience was positive with HTN rentals. The only negative was the hotel and the company gave us two different prices, so we felt like they were taking advantage of us. The location was convenient to the main area in town. They delivered our car to the hotel and we returned it at the office in town. The prices were higher than another company down the block, but we had good service. We rented one Jeep, but it ended up not starting when we drove halfway around the island. We had no service, but thankfully a local called the company for us and they brought us a nicer Jeep to replace it in one hour. They took credit cards, which helped since we were low on cash. We really enjoyed the Jeep we rented and driving around Cozumel. I highly recommend renting a car and exploring.

HTL rentals were welcoming from the beginning. They were upfront about the price. Just didn’t know they had a deposit to put down, but they gave it back immediately upon inspection of the car upon return. They make sure you have your video, pictures, and gas gauge level to return same for same. We returned it full even though it was 6 bars when we got it, but we feel that’s just how we were raised to be. They were friendly and will give you a ride and help you figure out a solution if you are getting off the plane and don’t have extra funds for a taxi. Hands down will always come back to them when coming here. We could not of seen some of the places we did without the car. Good reviews for good reason!

HTL is an amazing company to rent from. We rented a buggy to tour the island. HTL delivers it to your location, goes over every detail about your rental and gives you a map with some recommendations of where to go. A one day rental with them was a lot cheaper than renting through the resort. Then when we were done for the day, we parked at our resort and HTL came to get the keys and do a final sign off. The employee that helped us was friendly and extremely helpful. When we go back to Cozumel, we will definitely be renting from HTL again!! Thank you for your excellent service!!

Such a great no nonsense service. We were picked up at the airport and dropped off. They even held our luggage the last day while we had lunch. All pricing was up front and everyone was so professional. Will definitely be renting from again next time we are on the island. Also we loved the buggy! Perfect for the environment! Pro tip: needed small buggy to park!

Great customer service by Htl rentals. We spoke via WhatsApp prior to my arrival and the they answered all.my questions promply. on arrival we opted for hotel delivery which was so comfortable as they dropped the car off right to our door step. The car itself was amazing and gave us tue freedom to roam the beautiful island. Thanks Htl Its been a pleasure.

Excellent service from these guys, We rented twice from they. One day rental and decided to come back for a 3 day rental. The scooter was excellent, new and they allowed us to park there over night so we didn’t need to redo the paperwork everyday. The price was the best in town. They are honest and have great customer service and new scooters.

As a side note unrelated to them, be careful driving in Cozumel with scooters as there are a lot of crazy tourists driving and not respecting the yield of the ways, specially in town. Aside from that it’s a great way to get around.

HTL rentals is a 5-star experience. We came in by cruise ship and we rented a jeep for one day. From the moment I reserved the jeep via email (about a month in advance) to returning the jeep; everything went perfect. They are very upfront about everything and the price was exactly what they said it would be. The credit card temp hold was removed from pending when HTL said it would be and all transactions went smooth. They are very nice and run a very honest business. We highly recommend HTL rentals. They are a first class outfit!

HTL Cozumel Auto and Scooter rentals Is a terrific choice. Their service is exceptional and reasonable prices... they don't play games! Is the only people I rent from when I come to Cozumel!

We had an excellent experience with this company. Francisco gave us very clear information about the rental process, how to drive in Cozumel, and great recommendations for what route to take and restaurants along the way. The scooters were nice and large and in great condition. Rental and return was easy and we felt very cared for. At the return, the young man at the counter gave us a recommendation to a wonderful restaurant, La Choza, which ended up being one of our best restaurant experiences this trip. Thanks HTL, we will be back!

Amazing! Super informative, very upfront and transparent about everything little detail. Every single associate was beyond friendly. I rented a Nissan Buggy for one day and it was an absolute blast! Drove great, zero problems. Will rent from here again and recommend to everyone I can!

Our visit to Cozumel was a grand adventure and HTL rentals made it possible with their friendly service and excellent vehicles! Francisco and his team are very accommodating and kind. They got us on our scooters fast and made sure we were well versed in the operations of the scooters before we left to tour the island. HTL is located just a block or so from the ferry terminal. So convenient! We will absolutely do business with HTL again when return!

Rented a scooter from HTL, GREAT EXPERIENCE! We grabbed a taxi from the port down to the rental place. Great service, easy to pay, great price! We felt very comfortable renting from HTL after reading all the great reviews, and the rental process was seamless! We had a great time on the scooter and were able to tour Cozumel at our own pace and explore on our own.

These guys were amazing. Messaged after hours, free delivery, spoke English, price is displayed online with no extra fees.

Spent about $15 in gas to drive around the island and downtown.

This is THE place for any kind of vehicle rentals on Cozumel. Prices are very reasonable, and they don't push any extra insurance fees, so what you see is what you get as far as prices go. I got a Jeep for a day, ended up keeping it for 4 days. Had no trouble at all in getting the Jeep or returning it. No mechanical troubles either.

Heads up though, a lot of their vehicles are manual transmission, so be aware. You may have to pay a little extra for an automatic transmission vehicle.

Overall, excellent service, great car, and very reasonable prices.

We rented a buggy for 3 days & had a great time exploring the island at our own pace. The guys at HTL were awesome! They brought the buggy right to our Villa & did not throw in any extra unseen charges when they picked it back up. We highly recommend this company

It was kind of an extempore choice of a rental place but turned out to be a good one. First we rented a scooter for two days, but went and asked for one extra day which they easily agreed. We were so happy with them that went and rented a jeep for a half day later on.

They told us to take a lot of pics and videos of the scooter/jeep, we also filled a paper with all the imperfections. Returning was also easy, no extra waiting times etc.
