Dreams Cozumel Cape Resort & Spa

AMAZING! Best solo BIRTHDAY trip yet! Looking for great service, food and vibes?? This is the resort for you! My room was spacious and of course I had the swim up! The staff were all warm and friendly! Shout out to my favorites: Fabiola (entertainment), Waiters: Francisco, Carlos and Luis, Hostess: Eloisa!! They made my birthday and hotel stay such an experience! I never felt lonely and there was always something to do. I know I just left but I honestly can’t wait to go back. Worth every penny!

We purchased a day pass to use the beach at Dreams and had quite a pleasant experience. The food was decent given that it was a buffet, and the staff was incredibly kind in accommodating us even though we weren’t overnight guests. In terms of amenities, there were plenty of fresh towels to use, and the pool area was quite pristine. The beach loungers could use some replacing, but they were comfortable enough. The beach itself was nice but be aware that there are rocks as soon as you enter the water (it gets less rocky the further out you go). Big shout out to the social/event coordinator on the beach (Sara), not only was she enthusiastic and welcoming, but she was incredibly kind and hilarious as well!

Everyone was super nice, my room was the best. The breakfast at the buffet was amazing. The pizza was ok. The restaurant at secret could have been better. Room service was great. Overall my stay was great. I will come back again

We are frequent travelers (3X per year) to Mexico/Cancun. This was our first visit to Dreams Cozumel and will not be our last. We had three rooms and all were superb! As expected, the staff was amamzing. They literially catered to our every need. There was never a "No" answer and would go out of their way to more than satisfy our every need. The food was more than on point and left all of us wanting more which they were happy to provide. We are currently planning another trip in Jan where we will have 20+ rooms!

Recently stayed here for 9 nights for my wedding . We had a group total of 26 and everyone LOVED their stay here ! Staff is wonderful and works so hard to ensure you’re enjoying your stay. The ability to have all inclusive access to sister resorts (Secrets & Sunscape) was so great! Food was always available and good! We LOVED the Japanese restaurant at Secrets. We had a swim out pool view and it was amazing. We were able to participate in Halloween pumpkin carving and Day of the Dead show while at the resort. Snorkeling excursion off resort (booked through resort at lobby) was amazing ! I’ve seen the negative reviews and am truly confused. I do think that some should consider coming to an all include trip with a bit more patience. Overall would 100% recommend and definitely plan to be back!

I will say that the rooms can get pretty humid. But that probably comes with being in tropical weather. We did have one group need to change their room due to humidity and staff accommodated them very quickly.

Great beach, great pool, awesome bartenders named Enrique and Joel! Spend the extra cash for Dreams it’s worth it! Fire show was awesome as well! We will be here every year! And family friendly! Just a class act at Dreams!

I cannot recommend Dream Cozumel highly enough, my kids did not want to leave. A winning combination of a modern, stylish buildings and pools, lush tropical gardens, pristine beaches, rockpools, enthusiastic, friendly and courteous staff and the freshest, high quality cuisine, with food and drink at any time of day. A veritable island paradise with a touch of class. We'll be back!

Nice rooms and restaurants . Good service. Pool at dreams was too small and the beach chairs beings saved all day from 6 am was very annoying. Overall nice vacation.

I've been a member here since the beginning. The hotel and rooms have run down a little but are still clean and cozy. Great service and food.

The hotel is clean and modern with a beautiful location including both rock and beach coastline. The staff was excellent and friendly (always willing to accommodate). In addition the dining was top notch with access to all three AMR/Hyatt resorts (including Sunscape and Secrets). All three resorts activities (most) amenities and dinning are included with Dreams (albeit Secrets is restricted to adults only). We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here.

Enjoyed our vacation even though my husband only was able to dive two days due to the port being closed. Staff was wonderful. Entertainment Team was so energetic and enthusiastic! Room was fantastic and Bety kept us supplied with towels, etc. We were always able to find something to eat so we never went hungry. Would definitely go back again.

Great place to stay! Rooms were very clean, but would upgrade to swim our ocean view. Access to two next door resorts which provided many amenities.

This resort is very well maintained. If you plan on coming here, there are no tips and gratuity added into the price, so remember to tip your servers! The drinks are great. The spa experience is amazing!! You MUST try the Hydrotherapy!!! What an experience.

Beautiful location! We actually stayed at Secrets buy had access to 3 resorts... Secrets, Dreams and Sunscape. Dreams had good entertainment.

My family really had a great time! The rooms were spacious. The view was gorgeous. We ate and drank til we were overly content. We snorkeled right off the beach and the beach front swim out room was amazing.

Julio at dreams made our vacation just amazing! He was really on top of things, and we felt like friends of his by the end of the week!

We love our time here. We knew going in that it was still in construction progress but that really didn't damage our experience. We were able to go to the other two resorts next door, they're sister resorts, for food and that was great. We came during their soft opening and they only had one restaurant open at a time, due to the fact that there weren't many guests yet, understandably so. We had a swim out view ocean side and it was well worth every penny. The service was great, everyone said hello and it was just a great experience. The beds were a bit hard but they weren't too bad. The drinks were good, the food was great and overall, We would go back. The ocean was beautiful and my husband snorkeled every day. It's not the best walking beach but I'm not a big walker anyways. I absolutely LOVED the hammocks in the ocean, definitely a top experience on my list. Overall, I'd give 9/10 stars. If you're laid back and don't mind a couple hiccups, you'll enjoy yourselves here..if you have high expectations, not the place for you....yet.. give it some time for them to work out their kinks. Thank you for a wonderful stay!! We will be back!!

Aaron (entertainment) was such a gem and truly made our vacation that much more enjoyable. He has the sweetest energy, and was always keeping us entertained from, water aerobics, music, tequila tasting, mojito making class, margarita class, and many other shows. This human is a shining light we will miss.
Another thing to mention, we went on the dolphin excursion and unfortunately I left my water bottle there. Wendy went out of her way to call the facility, they found it, and she then to personally pick it up for me. I couldn't believe it..

Great remodel. Food was great this trip. Staff in restaurants is ok, they are consistent with their service. Maid service was very good,, when she did show up..
If you smoke, you are banned to a nasty part of the resort. Wish the kids were at the kids pool and not in the time share area.
Looking forward to going back.
