Great store.... lots of variety. Got our smuggling pack for our vacation. Tequilas with every flavour possible. “Shorty”- can’t remember his name, help us. Great sales person! He was smaller than me and extremely friendly and generous in his tequila portions.

Rafael Gonzalez was very friendly and eager to give samples. I'm pretty sure his motive was to to get me tipsy so I would be a bit loose with my wallet and judgement, but that should be expected. ;-) I enjoy "the game" and I was more than happy to taste all the tequilas. :-D The añejos and extra añejos aged in whiskey or cognac barrels were all excellent. The reposedos were also very good. After a bit of haggling, I ended up buying one añejo and one reposedo for about half the quoted prices. They charged my credit card in peso, but the conversion was correct. (We agreed on $135 and the total on my credit card was $141.39 and I'm not sure if there was any tax, but close enough.) I think you just have to know what you are getting yourself into when you go to a tourist place like this. At the end of the day, they are trying to make money, but I had a good time and got what I think is a good deal, so that's all that really matters. :-D

This place is not cheap. But definitely some of the best tequila I've ever had. And I've had lots of tequila. The folks working there are helpful and make visiting fun. You can sample everything before you buy. For memories they have very unique containers, like different types of glass bottles shaped like pistols, ak-47, rifles, revolvers . They have heart shaped bottles and bottles shaped like Mayan temples as well. Lots of yummy low alcohol mixers for coffee , and fruit drinks as well. I did not feel I was taken advantage of. We probably drank half a bottle of shots before we agreed to buy anything.

Spent about 2 hours there chatting up one of the family members, trying all sorts of thier tequila and agave drinks! Stellar staff and owners! A MUST stop for all those going to Cozumel!

We had a great time at this place!! The food was excellent, the live music was great and the bartenders were fun!! The tequila is pricey but I didn't have to buy it.

I had so much fun tasting all the tequilas. Some are literally the smoothest liquor I have ever tasted in my life, others are delicious flavors. I visited twice (I had to come back to show a friend!), and was helped by Jesus and Beto in my two visits. Both of them were super friendly, generous, and informative. I highly recommend!

Juan Lopez is the man. Fun to talk to and really chill. Let us try a lot of different flavored tequilas and a couple silvers. Wasn’t too pushy either.. just felt like I was there having a good time sharing tequila with my bud. Found some that I liked so we bought a bottle and yes they wrapped it and saved for me to get later and yes we received the bottle I bought.
Had some more shots of very nice tequila when we came back later to get what I had purchased.

Every single flavor of Tequila that I tasted was excellent, very smooth and rich with flavors. Daniel "the tequila whisperer" was very knowledgeable about tequila in general and the Chile Tequila brand specifically. So much so that I left the shop with 5 bottles of various flavors to take home. I am not speaking as a tequila drinker. However, with the knowledge and the tastes that I experienced, I consider myself further educated concerning my tequila consumption. I know what I like and that's what counts. The Chile Tequila shop near Senior Frogs is a stop you can't pass up in Cozumel.

Great place and superb attention from Juan. He will make you taste every imaginable flavor of tequila. Prices are a bit high but the quality is good. We ended up purchasing 4 different flavors which were thoroughly wrapped for the return trip.

Vic is a very good guide and knew where to start when we told him we don't drink much. I enjoyed it although the hard tequila was not my speed he ended on a high note with the liquors. I highly recommend this tour

Maybe its s rip off but their tequilla are very smooth lot of flavor. Impressive. If i compare the price of 18 year tequilla their price are good.

I was able to try many different flavors of tequila- from fruit to chocolate and vanilla —even silver. I definitely may not have been completely sober when I finally purchased 4 different 750 ml bottles. But Juan Lopez, and Jesus hooked us up in many ways. Don’t miss this awesome experience because of a bunch of idiots saying they got “scammed”. Go get drunk for free in Mexico, and if you like what you try, buy some delicious tequila.

For all the Tourist Chile Tequila is a good place to hang out and have some good drinks while listening to some good Ole classic rock, they usually have a band playing live also , I stop at Chile Tequila everytime I go to Cozumel which has been every 2 months and I have a really good time and the atmosphere is great and the good vibes there are excellent especially when you have a great waiter which a gentleman name Jesus hooks me up everytime and buying liquor from him at Chile Tequila makes it real easy to choose what you like with free Tequila tasting so check out Jesus at Chile Tequila and tell him Mark Medina from Texas Sent you and I promise he will give you the best price and take care of you like Family 👪.

we go to Cozumel every year and we always buy about a dozen bottles of their flavored tequila...We've never gotten a bad bottle, and I suspect the people here who say they did are talking about one of the other tequila places. We too have gotten bad liquor from the others but have always been very happy with CHILE TEQUILA! especially the peanut butter, chocolate, and fire tequila....yum!

Great guy was able to sell us some good tequila. Hope to have it for years.
