Africa Safari Lake Natron

Had a great stay with wife and sons. Superfriendly service, stunning views, beautiful birds, refreshing pool (badly needed, the heat inside the otherwise great tent was intense). Unforgettable very tough but rewarding nightly climb of the Ol Doinyo Lengai ‘Mountain of God’ and a hike to the waterfall with great local Maasai guide Abraham were some of the highlights of our stay.

Just above the lake nutron, it is a very nice place to spend the night. There was no light around so we could see the stars. The staff was kind and helped us with the bags. The room was big and special and included hot water for shower and bottled water for teeth brushing, and even a flashlight to take with us when we are going to the restaurant. There are night tours there, but we didn't take it. Food was good and there is a bar in the restaurant so we spent the evening drinking beer.

This is hotel is an oasis in the desert. The rooms are deluxe individual tents and stone buildings. There is a pool and relaxing area plus a campsite and restaurant. We did not book in advance as we had been self-drive camping for a month and had driven from Serengeti. We were over the moon when they had one last room. It felt like paradise.

The views from all the rooms are stunning. You look over Lake Natron, flamingoes, Gelai, and the volcano. There is little nearby. You need to go full board.

At night, a Masaai warrior escorts you back to the room as wild animals enter the hotel grounds. We had an amazing encounter with a herd of zebra on the last night.

The staff are really friendly and look out for you. They sometimes sing at dinnertime.

I loved it here and didn't want to leave. It is a paradise in the wilderness.

A unique place to stay. Cozy and well-designed tents with a calm and authentic hotel area. The surrounding lakes, waterfalls, and villages are worth checking out. You will experience local wildlife walking between the tents.

The place is amazing, beautiful view of the volcanic mountain same time enjoying the view of Lake Natron full of flamingo.

We have stayed just one night in this lodge, but it was enough to appreciate the kindness of staff, the pleasant atmosphere of this overlooked area of Tanzania. Worth to ask for a local masai guide to the waterfall and to see flamongos on the shore of lake Natron.

Amazing location, friendly staff and a nice pool with view to the lake Natron and the volcano. Loved the zebras, giraffe, flamingos, wildebeest & dromedaars in the area. We slept fantastic in the beds 🛌

Amazing Location! You can see from the pool the lake natron. Glamping tents are fully equipped and also with air conditioning. Only the "regular" power outages were annoying. The have a generator, but only use it in the evening. Staff was friendly but could have been more active. Food was okay but not outstanding. But the view was amazing!

Africa Safari is the perfect accommodation location for your visit to Lake Natron and Ngare Sero Waterfall. it is very close and you can see Lake Natron from the camps.

The staff are all very kind and attentive, the food was very good and it is great to enjoy an evening relaxing at the main area; although the camps are also very cozy and clean with electricity. The camps are guarded by Masai warriors who are also very kind and hospitable.

Would highly recommend a stay here during your Safari it is nearby a beautiful village, and there is also lots of baboons to see in the area! The amenities and service is 10/10.

What a top experience. Great staff. Top location with view on the lake, swimmingpool. We did a masaai walk to the flamingo lake and a walk and swim to the magical waterfall ngare sero. Next time we will walk up to active vulcano, oldonyo lengai. Omg. See you next year.

Beautiful place, good food, and great service.

What a wonderful place to be for adventurous travelers and all types of travelers, couples, family's. The place also has got a very exciting view of two major activities that are famous at lake natron, which is Active Volcanic Mountain of God ( Oldonyo Lengai ) and lake shore of natron

Beautiful establishment, very accommodating staff.

Be warned when you show up the various levels of government officials will come pay you a visit and extract their fees (20usd for lake natron, local fee, 30 usd per night national conservation fee (try to say you only stay one night), 35 usd for passage through the communities if you come from mto wa mbu and at least 70 usd to climb lengai, local fee). But that's not the camp's fault. all the fees do make this a very exclusive and secluded place with a lot of traditional maasai.

This is one of the best lodges, with stunning views and surroundings. The staff was very friendly and the food was also very tasty. I recommend this lodge 100%
