Exceptional tented lodge! Incredible views over the Serengeti, delicious food, and room was very clean and luxurious. Shower also has incredible views over the Serengeti. Friendly and attentive staff. Our favorite lodge of our safari. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible stay at Kubo Kubo Tented Lodge. The staff was absolutely incredible, friendly, and accommodating. The accommodations were clean, neat, spacious, and beautiful. We were able to see abundant wildlife from the porch of our tented lodge. We also enjoyed watching the sun over the Serengeti at the pool in the late afternoon after safari with drinks included. Watching sunrise over the Serengeti from our porch was incredible in the morning with coffee. Would highly recommend staying here when going to Serengeti National Park.

Amazing amazing stay! The most beautiful place in a stunning location. All the staff were so hospitable. Maria Joyce Alex and everyone else made our stay so memorable. I will never forget it. The best three days ever. Would 200 percent recommend this to anyone

One of the best lodges I stayed in during my Serengeti trip. The service was spot on, everyone from the server, chef, Maasai guys to room service staff were extremely helpful and made sure that me and my family have a great time. The food was also good and we had a beautiful view from our hotel room. Everything was just amazing about the hotel and I wouldn't mind returning back here

Wonderful place, wonderful people. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. All the staff were friendly and attentive but I had a great rapport with Alex, a lovely young man who looked after us for restaurant meals

Excellent lodge in the middle of the Serengeti. Located at a small hill, you have a fantastic view far out and can watch animals passing by and the great landscape. We had an exceptional large (~50m2) and nice "tent" (presumably a superior one) which contained a clean toilet, a great outdoor shower as well as many amenities such as a water dispenser, USB and power outlets, a bathtub, a hair dryer and much more.
If you move from the restaurant/lobby area to your lodge in the dark, you will be escorted by Masais, which are super nice and have a lot to tell about the animals.
The restaurant was also run well be a great chef who could our gluten free requirements (celiac) exceptionally well.
The food was good but not as great as the amenities and the area of the hotel. All in all highly recommended place to stay if you visit the Serengeti for a few days.

Imagine waking up every morning to the sight of the grand Serengeti! This tented lodge is situated within the Serengeti and boasts beautiful views all round. We had an open air bathroom overlooking the plains which made you want to shower and contemplate life for hours on end. The rooms are spacious and beautiful.

The staff were all super friendly and always very helpful and professional. We were served by on both nights we were there and her customer service is simply amazing. The chef made us a special cake and all the staff celebrated with us as this was an anniversary getaway. It was a great surprise and we loved it!. All meals were included in the price.

The swimming pool is also a highlight with animals grazing in the near distance. Birds are everywhere around the lodge to serenade you. The food was enjoyable and we especially loved the BBQ night.

I highly recommend this place if you’re on safari in the Serengeti and want a nice serene place to relax after the bumpy ride.

It was great staying at Kubu Kubu lodge. Location is beautiful, on the top a hill so you can see far below and watch animals directly from your terrace. Each bungalow is thoughtfully constructed with everything you need in it, a very comfy bed, good facilities and once again- amazing view. Staff at the lodge is also great - friendly and sincere, they create a warm family atmosphere. We especially enjoyed chatting with Mele, but also other Maasai guides were very nice and friendly.
Not to forget - sunrise at the lodge is breathtaking!

Nice food and good hospitality.

This is the best placed lodge with the great wide view to the Serengheti plane. The facility and hotel staff was great too. We were satisfied with served food. It was local and really tasty. The wild animals, especially hyenas were crawling around at nights and the sounds of wild were experience. No worries, the Massais guards protects you. The stay there was unforgettable.

This was my first experience staying in a tent hotel. It is super comfortable, with everything you need. Excellent service, full attention to guest needs. All food is very tasty and good quality. The outside shower was a killer.

My family and I had such a wonderful time at Kubu Kubu! The food was excellent, the rooms were super comfortable, the staff were very attentive and the views and sunrise were breathtaking. I would highly recommend staying here!

Most Amazing hotel I stayed in Tanzania. I heard Lions roaring at night outside my tent! My only regret is that I didn’t stay longer. I’ll definitely come back!

After seeing the reviews I specifically made sure to stay at kubu kubu for 3 nights. We had an amazing stay !! Food is so delicious, dreamy views of Serengeti and excellent outdoor shower ! Everything was perfect! Highlight of our stay was spotting a pack of hyenas outside our tent !

Animals of the Serengeti are free to roam through the lodge property during the night. Maasi warriors are present to escort you to/from your room after dark. The food prepared by the chefs is extremely good and plentiful. All staff are very friendly and make a special effort to serve you. The rooms are "glamping", and your shower is outside where you can enjoy spectacular views of the Serengeti in privacy as you shower. My dark photos were taken at night.

This is place is a gem!! It overlooks the serengeti and offers great lodges and hospitality. It also offers an outdoor shower with a breathtaking view. If you can choose this as one of you luxury stays in your safari itinerary, it is a must.
Highlight: The food is amazing!! The head chef puts so much love into the food and the taste reflects that. The zucchini soup was to die for… i had to ask the chef for its recipe! Also the BBQ is on-spot. Rare to well done, they will make sure you get the perfect piece!

The view by the dinning hall/reception was amazing. If you can get up early enough to see the sun rise and later on wait for the sun set you would love it even more. The servers were nice but could have definitely been better. The rooms were spacious and beautiful. It was my first time sleeping in a tented hotel in the wilderness and we had Buffalo 🐃 🐃 🦬🐃 roaming around, so it was scary. But they had Massai warriors as security guard who would walk you to and from your rooms from 6pm to 6am. They guaranteed safety. I loved it and would go again. Also highly recommend
