Serengeti Kati Kati Tented Camp

Our most favourite place we stayed while on Safari- a very well organized set up. Beds are comfy and warm, showers are hot, food was delicious and fresh and the staff were absolutely friendly and professional. Wish we stayed more than two nights!!

I really loved this place!!! Staff are super friendly and food is amazing!! It is so impressive to see how food can be so delicious in the middle of Serengeti. Rooms were so clean. I felt so safe there thanks to staff. Atmosphere was great. View is wonderful! I will never forget this place.

Amazing location with very friendly staff, fantastic welcome to the accommodation, great food. Stayed at one Kati Kati in the north as well as central, and recommend both! Cannot believe how fantastic the food was so far away from a town and the genuine happiness/friendliness of those at working there. Fantastic place to stay!

We went to Kati Kati on our Trailfinders Simba Safari. Honestly, it was the one accommodation we weren’t looking forward to but was our favourite out of the whole week. The tents were basic but immaculate and had everything you needed. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and the food was incredible. The sunrise and sunset is unlikely any other you’ll ever see, and being so close to the animals is such a privilege. We had an elephant literally brush against our tent at 2am! If we did safari in the Serengeti again we would undoubtedly stay at Kati Kati for the duration.

Kati Kati tented camp was an absolute joy to stay at! The staff were nothing short of outstanding, delivering 7-Star service. The surroundings were so special and the food was absolutely delicious- thank-you chef! The tents were very comfortable, spacious and clean. Thank-you so much to the entire team for your wonderful hospitality.

I read a lot of reviews before going there and have to agree that Kati Kati is definitely the highlight of any safari. The location, the staff, the food - all amazing. We were blown away by the delicious meals the chef and his crew prepared, especially considering how difficult it must be to get all the ingredients into the middle of the Serengeti. Right in front of the lodge is a large plain on which you can observe animals whenever you are not on a game drive. We were lucky enough to see a cheetah from the breakfast table. The staff did everything to make our stay as good as possible. The tents are very spacious and equipped with a normal toilet and a decent shower. One tip: bring noise cancelling headphones or something to cover you ears during the night as it can get quite noisy in the tent due to the wind.

Me and my brother came here in September this year during a safari holiday. I have to say, it was the best place we stayed at during the entire holiday. You sleep in the middle of the savannah and you wake up looking at zebras and giraffes. The tents are amazing, equipped with everything you need, a comfortable bed and hot water. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Even the food was incredible. My brother is still preparing the avocado we salad we eat there. I would love to come back.

Kati Kati Tented Camp is wonderful! The tents are large with comfortable beds. The bucket shower is much more like a traditional shower than the name implies. The staff is the best of the best! The dinner we had there was one of the best meals of our entire trip. The picture below shows the impressive spread for the boxed lunches. Wish we could have had more time there, but we’ll just have to come back!

Very nice/professional staff and delicious dinner! Also breakfast was way better than in all the other camps we had. Also the lunch package we could choose from like a buffet. Great!
Camp is really in the wildlife, at breakfast we had an elephant family passing the tents!

Stunning tented campsite if you’re touring the Northern Serengeti for the migration. Amazing food, charging stations at the main tent, great packed lunches, beautiful rooms and fun way to take a shower! They bring a bucket of hot water to your shower and let gravity do the work. I loved that! At night we could hear so many animals, which just added to the excitement of it all as it was our first night at the park. Would highly recommend this campsite!

My favorite accomodation in our Safari trip. Kati Kati was an amazing camp that completely envelopes you in the wild of Serengeti. Prepare yourself to have some respect to wildlife, since you will experiment noises at night such as hyenas and lions (among others). The staff was just incredible; thanks Ayubu and all the other members of the staff for one of the most amazing experiences in our lifes.

Loved the camping experience without having to pitch my own tent! Clean bedding and towels and lovely staff. First night was filled with the sounds of hyena prelude followed by lions. Third night a frightened baby hyena "came" to dinner. Great morning sunrise and wonderful attentive staff who were patient in our finding the place and helpful in our rescue.

If you visit Serengeti, you have to visit Kati Kati atleast once!
You will never forget the night you spend in a tent next to thousands of wildebeests, zebras, lions and hyenas. But you will most likely not sleep much, as you will lie awake and listen to the sounds of the bush.

I would come back every day to spent my time in this awesome lodge. Oh, and the staff is super friendly and the food the serve is awesome. Even more impressive when you consider that they are cooking it in tents in the bush of Africa. Go and experience it yourself!

10 stars for the incredibly kind and very attentive staff here. We enjoyed 3 nights of going to sleep under a beautiful starry sky, listening to lions in the distance and eating fantastic meals each day. Most of the day was spent out on safari, but while at the camp, we were very well taken care of.

What a great place to stay! We stayed here two nights as part of our Safari and it was a great experience. Joseph greeted us at the car and gave us a briefing on the tented lodging. Our tents came with their own bathroom with flushable toilets and showers that staff brought hot water for. The food was delicious and every night we left with full bellies. At breakfast they had many options and we even got to choose what we wanted to pack in our box lunches for the day of game drives. The staff was friendly and helpful. Every night we were escorted to our tents and fell asleep listening to the sounds of leopards and other animals. It was a fantastic experience!

The location, staff and the tents were excellent. They even have hot water and WiFi which given the location is really commendable. Their packed lunch was the best compared to other lodges.

This was by far our favourite accommodation during our Tansania trip! In the middle of the bush, pure nature, down-to-earth yet comfortable camp, amazing, friendly and welcoming staff - we will definitely come back!

What a great experience! We stayed two nights there in the middle of the Serengeti and had a great time. The food was the best we had during our Tansania trip and the stuff was very friendly. the familiar atmosphere we liked most. Thank you for having us!

We spent magical moments sleeping in the Serengeti park with the animals nearby, the tents were comfortables, the eating was wonderful, we felt like at home, everybody was really nice to us. We go back home with unforgettable memories. Thank you.

Situated the middle of the Serengeti this is a beautiful expirience. Setup is a temporary camp on Safari. At night you can hear hyinas, lions and other wildlife. An Expirience you will never forget. Friendly staff.
