Aishi Machame Hotel

Absolutely loved my stay here. Very clean rooms, lovely decor, professional staff. The food served on the buffet was delicious, as were the desserts.

The grounds are gorgeous, nice pool, lovely bird and animal sounds around. They even had a bush baby that they feed banana around dinnertime. That was cool to watch.

The gift shop has some cool apparel although some of it is way overpriced. Regarding food items, the hotel charged $5 US dollars for a regular sized Snickers candy bar or $18 US dollars for a small bag of cashews. Laundry items are also expensive. Go enjoy yourself, but avoid the extras.

The ficus tree in the middle of the back patio is gorgeous. It's huge! It's so fun that you can spot monkeys on the grounds.

Highly recommend the walk down to the river, it's beautiful! Also, highly recommend the hike to the local waterfall! Such an amazing peak into the Chaga culture and local community. The volcanic pillars are super cool, and the waterfall is just gorgeous, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The food was great, staff was friendly, live music was a great touch! Also, really cute to be able to feed the bunnies!

Our World Vision Team stayed at the Aishi Machame Hotel before and after our 6-day hike to Uhuru Peak (Mt. Kilimanjaro). The staff was extremely friendly and focused on serving. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. And the entire property was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend you choosing the Aishi Machame Hotel

Great hotel, with very nice facilities, very kind and caring staff! The hotel itself is well organised and the rooms are clean! It is located in the a forest, next to a river, therefore it is quiet around and pleasant to be off the noisy streets of Moshi. It is perfectly suited for your arrival and departure night if you decide to climb the Kilimandjaro and the hotel management knows a great deal about this, they are very welcoming and willing to assist with any requests. Very nice place to stay at, we would definitely stay there again with pleasure and would recommend it to anybody!

The hotel was a perfect destination before and after Kilimanjaro climbing. On my way back a had an opportunity to check out the pool. I've enjoyed it a lot. The restaurant was good as well, service is a little bit slower that you expected, but food quality is very good.
