Simba Farm

Started a bike tour here with one bike tanzania. Really amazing place to start the trip. Lovely rooms, amazing food (best breakfast of our trip) and lovely dogs.

Wonderful place. We are on our way there for the second time.

Always enjoy staying here, food is fantastic, staff is really helpful and the rooms are comfortable. Ask to buy some fresh vegetables to take home or go for a walk to enjoy the amazing scenery. Will keep coming back.

Looking for the best camping location, look no further u get great views like every direction you decide to face. MtB riders this place has one of the best bike trails.

We stopped here for a drink back in early September! The lady who welcomed us was warm and friendly. While we were sitting outside, the manager came to greet us and gave us a pretty good background information on the farm, when it started, their activities etc. He seemed to like working there with so much pride! I hope one day I will get an opportunity to stay there for a night or two 😊

We did not stay at this farm so my review is based on the staff we interacted with for about an hour or so, management, the ambiance and view from the farm!

Beautiful place with amazing views over Mount Meru and surroundings. The lodge is next to a working farm with lots of animals. Great place for visiting with kids. From the lodge you can do great hikes through the farm fields on the hills, nearby forest and river. Food and staff are excellent. Especially the food is freshly made, very tasteful and in large quantities ;-). Highly recommended! We will be back 😁

Awesome view! High up the mountain! In the wheat farmland! Eland and elephants are not uncommon visitors. Good camping!

Fancy a family holiday or a romantic/honeymoon holiday then Simba farm is a place to go. Located on the western parts of Kilimanjaro with lush greenery and a breathtaking view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The place is private and the rooms are clean and well maintained and they also have a campsite for those who wish to camp. Their staff are very friendly and always ready to assist. The chef makes delicious meals with fresh vegetables because they grow their own. While at the farm you can take a walk with 3 wonderful dogs Mandy, Fupi(means short in swahili) and Dora or go hiking and the staff offers packed meal. They have horses, goat, sheep etc. An important note if you are doing a self drive then it is advisable you use a 4x4 with off road tyres due to the volcanic rocks but the road is easily accessible.

Such a peaceful family run farm and lodge. The owners love on site and go out of their way to ensure you have a fantastic experience. The food is prepared with fresh ingredients they grow locally.

our stay at simba farm lodge was a truly complete and joyous experience. we came here to celebrate our family's 50 years stay in east africa; a party of 22 consisting of grandparents, kids, in laws and grandchildren - fully catered for. the accommodation and services very complete; the hosts, karina and daven, have made sure there is ample space and activities to amuse the entire family, whether activities, peace and quiet or in terms of food and beverages, it was already arranged or flexibly cared for. we're grateful for the time spent here in the company of this lovely family, and our kids of 10, 8 and 6 loved it here -- and without a doubt would love to come back sometimes if we visit east africa again. we'll surely and happily recommend this lodge to others!

Nice place to spend time with family and friends; Camping and learning about the freshly grown veggies at the farm with the beautiful scenery surrounding the lodge.

Having drinks in the plains at sunset was a fantastic experience. Tastefully furnished rooms, and healthy and fresh food.

Escape arusha..head to west kili to the warm hospitality of Simba Farm..great place, great food and great base for those Lemosho Kilimanjaro climbs, the most chilled location to reflect and sit back after a wildlife safari....or simple time out from the fast pace.

Staff are very friendly! I like the old rooms, quietness around the farm, and available rooming options. Without forgetting the farm produce.

I was just having a green salad here but that was really good. The place is huge and clean and the owners are really friendly.

The food was amazing. The service was excellent. The people are hospitable. Overall loved the experience.

We slept there only one night but everything was perfect.

Wonderful weekend away, great food and hospitality, and great environment with kids. We will be returning!

It will be mistake to visit Tanzania and leave without spending a Night or two here. Amazingly Awesome
