Joy & Simba truly accomodate you in such a family feeling home. The rooms are spacious, clean and the rooftop is excellent for a nice yoga session with the kilimanjaro view. They also helped out tremendously with drivers, activities and more.

We were recommended to stay at Kiwavi and had high expectations! We weren’t disappointed! It was the best Hostel we stayed in during our time in Tanzania. The rooms are very nice, the garden is so beautiful and the breakfast was amazing, there is something different for each day of the week. The owners are extremely nice and help you to organize day trips and everything else you might need! Hope we get to stay with you again. Thank you Simba and Joy! Keep up the great work :)

We were very warm and kindly welcomed into Kiwavi home. The garden is very spacious and offers a quiet place in the somewhat busy city. Joy and Simba are very kind and easy to talk to. The kitchen offers everything you need to cook your meals. The rooms are clean and spacious. We would definitely recommend! ☺

we had a lovely time after our kilimanjaro trek relaxing at Kiwavi home! it’s a beautiful oasis and very well set up. kitchen facilities are awesome and Joy and Simba are so helpful and very friendly. the proceeds of your stay also go to a local NGO run by Joy, which makes the rate very reasonable. the included breakfast every morning was a highlight and all homemade (using good quality crockery). wifi was very strong and rooms were clean, spacious and tastefully decorated. the hot water wasn’t working for us, which was a shame particularly after getting back from our trek but they helped us by letting us use another shower with warmer water. it was also out of the town centre meaning it was much quieter but also meant you needed to get transport in. would definitely recommend this homestay to everyone! asante sana

Simply the best place to stay in Moshi. I came for 2 days and stayed for a week. Simba and his team will make you feel so welcome. The breakfasts are really, really delicious!! There's something new to try everyday. Also you can meet the most awesome dog in all Tanzania called Bahati. I will definitely be back one day soon. I'm already looking forward to it. 😊😊😊

Great place to stay in Moshi, easy to get there by tuk tuk (badaje), it is 30mins walking to the center. The accommodation has nice rooms, great hosts and there is a great atmosphere in both the home and in the garden. If you need a place to chill out, this is where to go! The place has a nice garden with chairs to relax and games and books.

A wonderful place. Beautiful garden and Lounge. Clean rooms. Wonderful people with a big heart. The perfect place for your adventures in and around Moshi. The price is low, compared with what you will get. The best thing: the Hostel directly supports a non-profit-organisation who supports families in the region.

Simba is a very cool guy and Jaki is the cutest person ever and a veeeery good chef. The breakfast was delicious and it's a clean and quiet place, very relaxing. Simba is also very helpful with organising activities. Asante sana!

Awesome place! After a week of seeking a nice place to stay in Moshi and bad experiences, l found the best hospitality ever in this world and the nicest place to stay in Moshi. So clean, so neat, wonderful garden, delicious breakfasts, but more than that is the gorgeous smile of Simba, great company of Jack and Rafi, and not to forget the sweet Bahati. They all took care of me during my sickness, l can’t thank enough. l never want to leave Kiwavi Home, the hostel with a heart. :)

Perfect Hostel! Clean rooms. Helpful people. Peaceful Area. Great Breakfast. Perfect home for the days before and after a kilimanjaro hike or a dusty Safari Tour.

Great place to stay. Very modern and clean. So relaxing. Beds are super comfy king size beds. Breakfast was a feast of fruit and pastry. Staff are great. Pretty close to some nice bars. Have stayed 3 times and will stay here every time i pass through Moshi.

The best place in Moshi. Forget the big hotels and the other hostels. There is nothing friendlier, nicer, more attentive in Moshi.
We stayed here 2 nights before and 2 nights after the Kilimanjaro climb and simply every wish, every help we asked for was fulfilled. It doesn't get any better than this.
In addition, the rooms are large enough, the mattresses new, the cleanliness exceptional, the breakfast delicious. Thank you Joy and Simba!
