This is a unique place , where a co-operative operates for the benefit of the community, which works together to support small family coffee farms and process / sell as one co-operative to ensure fair pricing that is shared back into the community. This is the amaizing place i ever seen .. the amaizing coffee, the nice weather, food and local traditional drink . There are alot of nice activities , and you get to visit alot of coffee farms and you do the havesting process ..

Kilimani is a very interesting cultural tourism center as it has got a very cool weather and environment, guests are kindly treated, food is also served. The view is the crucial aspect that is eye catching.

Kiliman is a place you can feel nature’s best with serene environment and Good food and nice coffee.

Be wary of using Google Maps for directions to this place. Great food, helpful friendly staff, stunning views. Kessy took us on an amazing tour to make our own coffee. A true gentleman.

Long overdue review for these guys -- spent two weeks at the camp last summer, which were absolutely incredible from start to finish. Good vibes, wonderful people, nice tents, tasty coffee... all set on one of the most beautiful slices of Earth that you could ever hope to come across. Excellent relaxed hands on tour covering all aspects of growing and processing coffee in small family farms on the slopes of Kilimanjaro.

We had a great Coffee and Waterfall tour, first seeing the end-to-end coffee making process at a local farm, having some banana beer and wine and then closing off with a visit of the beautiful waterfall

Had a great time on both the coffee tour and the Materuni waterfalls:

Coffee Tour - complete the whole coffee process yourself from “planting” to picking to roasting and tasting. Dennis our guide was so knowledgeable about nature and the coffee process.

Materuni waterfall - after a drive up some suspect roads and a short walk, the waterfall is absolutely breathtaking. Feel free to have a swim, the water is refreshingly cool.

Beautiful location surrounded by green and on a good day you can see Kili in the background. Campsite facilities very basic, but the dinner was beautiful, and the coffee/banana tour with Dennis was a treat. Asante Sana!

In the morning at Kahawa Shambani Campsite you can watch the Mount Kilimanjaro very closely.
